I have only been to this location once after seeing it mostly empty since it opened. However my friend wanted a quick bite to eat and it was getting late so we tried this spot out. Surprisingly the bar was packed and there wasn't anywhere to sit as the seating capacity is limited. We found a place at the bar and scanned the menu and placed two orders of chicken wings. To no avail they only had enough for 1 order so I searched again for an alternative. I tried one of their burgers and it was about what you would expect from a bar...The wings however were a bit better. Unfortunately the fries they give you as a compliment to your food are probably the worst fries I have had in my life. They need to look into an alternative side. The beer prices were decent so going to just to grab a beer may be alright. Just know that this place is pretty much like hanging out in a box. There aren't any walls separating the floor plan and it is not very entertaining. I don't think I would go back unless my entourage really insisted on going. read more

It's the people who make or break a bar scene, and I have to say: the people working tonight (at least) were some of the most inappropriate, mean spirited and just generally, nasty we've ever experienced-- insofar as how they treated us and how I saw them treat others. The bald bartender was incredibly passive aggressive with every comment he could possibly squeeze in between us and others ordering our drinks. More so, however, it was the twerpy blonde door "man" who really crossed some boundaries. He would go "the extra mile" to attempt to prove some sort of dominion over patrons: reading, very loudly and mockingly, several individuals IDs to go in tow with a novel's worth of unsolicited, inappropriate comments that would not belong in any job, period. More significantly, though, there were some instances of uninvited touching (from that young man's end) that, quite frankly, (had it been recorded) would probably land the establishment in some hot legal water. Other than that, it looked like it could be a good bar :) STILL, I strongly believe the owner should protect himself or herself and take out the trash before an incident occurs that IS recorded. read more

Mojo is a really cool spot that recently opened in the ever growing Lakeview district. The inside has a cool pub feel to it. We have been here twice now, and the staff have been great both times. We opted to sit in the patio, and were very well taken care of the entire time. They have some really good craft cocktails, and pretty good drink prices. On Sunday, they were offering $3 Arnold Palmer's all day, as well as a couple of food specials. The fried mac and cheese is delicious, as are the fried pork balls. My partner had the "pig fries," which are smothered in seasoned, slow roasted pork...and they were very tasty! The sandwiches that we tried tasted great too...especially the Italian sausage. All if the food is very well priced. We will definitely be coming back often!! read more

Great location in Lakeview, always lots of traffic and excitement around. Not a lot going on inside on the Sunday night I went though. We tried the Chicken Parmesan, Knuckle sandwich, fries and cheese grits. Best thing was the Chicken Parmesan-huge piece of fried chicken with lots of crunch and flavor. I'd definitely get it again and the best thing we tried. The Knuckle sandwich was piled with beef, very tender but it needed some sauce. Fries were ok and the grits were a never again. It was a great value, I didn't feel cheated for the price and the portion sizes, but the quality was a bit suffering. read more

I went to Mojo last night as part of a bar crawl and we had a good time! It has a pretty standard layout, it's basically an open room with a bar and a jukebox (which has some great songs if I do say so myself). The bartenders are so nice and the happy hour specials are good! They have $2 Miller Lights and wells for around $3. I will be back! read more

I am not a fan of this place at all. The food is garbage (try eating it when you're sober and you'll be disgusted and amazed), the place is a box without any charm, character, or entertainment value, and God forbid you order a "signature drink" from the menu since the bartenders either don't know how to make it or they lack essential ingredients (I've been here a few times (begrudgingly) and more often than not, I have been told the bartender was new or didn't have the stuff to make the drinks). It's a BAR people! If you're going to have "signature drinks" you would think your staff would know how to make them and have what they need. If it were a one-time occurrence it's no big deal...however this wasn't a one-time thing for this place. They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, in this case it's just pathetic and unimaginative. When Stillwater Pub closed, Mojo tried to recreate/take over the Stillwater community of regulars. Late night trivia once a week? Check! Same schedule of musical acts and nights as Stillwater? Check! (Eric McGinty on Tuesday nights, etc.) Unfortunately, bringing in Stillwater regulars to tend bar or play music in this unappealing-concrete-box isn't flattery, it's a horrible attempt to duplicate the feel and family that was Stillwater. The blatant ripoff is insulting and offensive. Step up your game, Mojo, and do your own thing. The place is too small for bands playing at volumes best suited for larger venues. The concrete floors and mostly bare walls make for horrible acoustics and you have to sit outside if you want to think, let alone have a conversation without shouting. God, this place sucks. read more

Planned to go to Jack Brown's but it was packed so we walked over to Mojo. It was a Tuesday and I didn't expect much traffic but there were two people at the bar. My friend asked for a Manhattan that they could not make. Got a standard well drink and I ordered a beer. The food came out quick but it was lackluster. We asked if there were any vegetables on the philly steak and were told there were none. When it came out it had onions all in it. We had to flag down the bartender to get any kind of attention. Pretty disappointing. read more
