What a delicious Cuban restaurant! I ordered the spicy oxtail dish and it was perfection. The portion is definitely worth the seventeen dollars. The gravy and rice went perfectly together. The plantains were perfectly cooked and it went really well with the savory dish! The oxtail was cooked to where it was just tender and fell straight off the bone. It was so satisfying. Our server was amazing, she was so helpful with recommendations and constantly checking on us. There's plenty of parking and plenty of space for big parties as well. They have outdoor seating. They had live band last night which was really nice. It really set the mood for the restaurant. I would definitely come back. read more

Had lunch with the siblings here on Saturday. Location: The forum, parking is plenty (especially earlier in the day). Restaurant has indoor and outdoor/covered seating. Service: was okay, server was a bit slow and not very attentive. Food: - empanada sampler: beef (ground beef and flavorful) Chicken (ground chicken and very dry...shredded would've been better) Mushroom and spinach ( I'd give this one 5 stars! Very flavorful and delicious) Guava bbq ribs.....literally was bbq ribs nothing special...didn't taste the guava. Tamale: huge corn tamale with shredded pork piled on top. Not flavorful. (Trader Joe's frozen tamales are better tbh) Churrasco filet was good, flavorful, juicy and tender. Kids chicken tenders...umm PLEASE GET. I don't know why the kids chicken tender plate was amazing! It was freshly made chicken tenders and those fries were good as well. If I go back.... I'm ordering the chicken tenders! Lol read more

Food and drinks delicious. Both times I visited it was for dinner. I ate the short ribs, calamari and my drink was the red sangria.

This place used to be good. Just ordered Bistec Empanizado to go and it was HORRIBLE. Very tough old piece of meat with stale crust surrounding it. My wife ordered Ropa Vieja and it was so runny it looked like soup. The only positive was that it came out quick but that's probably because it was old and reheated. Excellent service! Live music! Great food! Great drinks! Setting: very intimate environment. Real candlelight at the table really sets the mood. We stopped by during a live performance-- Ticharisse has a beautiful voice! They also have a dance floor some nights. Food: we shared a Turkey Cubano. It was great! It was a larger sandwich so it was enough for two people to share. The bread was the best part, toasted to perfection (just enough to be crispy and not enough to be tough to chew) and lightly coated with butter(?). We also got Yuca fries which came with an avocado-cilantro purée for dipping. Food was not bad but nothing special. My friend had a great mojito. I didn't like my St. Bernard's, it tasted very "artificial" and a little too sweet, like a blended bag of pineapple flavor jolly ranchers. Service: our server really made the experience. He was very friendly and was on top of our order. It was like he could read our minds. For example, when we were finishing a cup of dipping sauce he came back with two more. The whole night was like that and he made sure we were well taken care of. He was really great! Cost: $$. we shared Yuca fries, a (sizeable) turkey cubano, a Mojito and a St Bernard's. The bill was a $35 before tip. Pretty nice for an evening out. read more

Alright lovely people lets get into it. If you are seeking a place on Fridays or Saturdays to escape your everyday routine, laugh and dance... This is the place... For my lovers of food... The cuisine is mouthwatering with items like chicken, beef and spinach-mushroom. The loaded Mariquitas are delicious, great for sharing and not as heavy as chicken nachos. Seafood Lovers... The red snapper is always very good. Vegetarians I didn't forget about you... The Black Bean Casserole and Eggplant is seasoned to perfection when you want something tasty to eat. Customer service lovers... Ashley and Moe will take care of you to make sure your party is taken care of. Note... If you patronize this location on a Friday or Saturday night be sure to excerise some patients because the live band is rocking and people are dancing the night away. read more

Live music and oxtail on the menu? That's a win in my books. Came on a Wednesday night and they had a live Spanish guitar performance. I got the spicy oxtail dish with yellow rice and that was delicious! It was packed with flavor and fall off the bone tender. The plantains were a nice side to have with the dish to add some sweetness to the rich, savory flavors of the oxtail and rice. read more

Been here many times. Love the atmosphere, especially when they gave live music. Food is good as is the service. Not top notch, but given the limitation in Latin cuisine, it will do. read more

Beautiful environment, very clean. Staff wear masks and there are hand sanitizers available. The server was very friendly. The food is very good. I tried the ropa vieja and spicy oxtail. Both were excellent. I will be back to try other dishes. Perfect spot for group dinner, date nights, or even casual meetups. read more

This review is strictly for the food at Mojitos only . The ambience and the aesthetic of the restaurant are obviously the only thing going for this restaurant. Because the food itself is so plain, it's so simple and expensive for what it is ? I don't understand how anybody can go there to eat. The description of the food sounds delicious and then you get your plate and it's such a disappointment. I've gone three times to give it a chance and every time I've tried something different on their menu this time I got the beef sandwich. How do you mess up a beef sandwich? The beef itself had no flavor. The sandwich only had flavor because of the three caramelized onions they put. My sister got the red snapper which any other snapper would not look like a Frozen tilapia fillet with a bunch of garlic on top of it . And for the price of what they're charging they charge red snapper price for tilapia . Ridiculous. The salmon is a little piece of salmon with a couple chunks of mango. Also, how does it have no flavor ? The beans taste like straight out they don't even bother to add any seasoning to it. And the rice just taste like instant rice. My husband got the Churrasco the hardest piece of meat ever with no flavor nonetheless and the chimichurri sauce is basically just olive oil with some herbs in it. Can we please add some salt? If you're coming here to eat, I would suggest for you to go somewhere else if you're coming here for drinks and live music then OK. read more

Incredibly authentic Cuban fare. Whoever left the 1 star review saying you were looking for good "Spanish food", you should learn geography. Wrong country. Great food, great service. Tamales and fried pork chop. Can't go wrong. read more

I've been a big fan of Mojito's ever since I've tried them in Downtown Norcross. Was so happy when I found out they were coming to The Forum. I almost missed it when trying to find a parking spot because the sign was not that visible. When I walked in, I was delighted to see a much bigger restaurant than Downtown Norcross. I usually get their paellas, oxtails, empanadas, tamales, etc, but this time, I got their cuban sandwich. It was good and fulfilling, but their yuca fries was kind of disappointing. It was too bland with no flavoring whatsoever and I kept on having to spit out the stems. Regardless, I can't wait to come here again and get my usual items. read more

This might be my new favorite Cuban restaurant. Of course my reigning favorite is their other location. Food is still great, though it was a tiny bit different. The best part is it's way quieter and much bigger. I ordered 2 dinner meals to go. The presentation was very nice and my plate was colorful and looked like it was full of flavor. The food had no flavor except for 2 pieces of shrimp that was seasoned nicely. It's hard to eat flavorless food, I ate half of it. Cuban food is supposed to be full of flavor. The second plate ordered for my wife had no flavor. read more

Me being from miami made me realize that this was one of the better cuban spots in Atlanta ... A must try!

Excellent Restaurant excellent service excellent food excellent ambience I will surely be back and bring friends

I really want to love this place but I thought the " steak padillo " was a little dry , but the plantains and empanadas were very good. We order a pitcher of " The Mojito " and it was very good. The service was below par and the waiter never came back to check on us . I end up getting the olive oil and garlic sauce from a different waiter. I prefer the historic downtown Norcross location it's just the food so much better . But I will give this place another chance it's in a good location at " the forum " shopping center . I give them credit for live music. read more

Really good food! The service is quick, no frills restaurant but no need when the meal and portion size is like this place. If you like Cuban food, warm service and enough food for next day eats, this is your place. My expectations coming into this restaurant were pretty high because my friends from the area raved about this place. The food here was really amazing. My friend and I started with empanadas (chicken and beef) as our appetizer. The beef one was our favorite. The filling tasted like tender beef stew. Chicken was okay, I definitely recommend the beef. The empanadas tasted fresh and crispy. Main entree for me was the guava bbq baby back ribs. This was the winner of the whole meal! The meat fell right off the bone when I dug in with my fork and the sauce was nicely sweetened and tangy. I ordered the half size and it was more than enough for me especially with the side order. For the side order I got the guantanamera salad that had pecans and feta cheese. Friend got the spicy ox tail dish and this was okay, it could have been better especially since it was a specialty house dish. Mojitos were also pretty good. Try this place out, you WON'T be disspointed. read more

Fantastic addition to the Forum! The original has been a fixture of downtown Norcross for nearly a decade, but this new and larger space is great! Larger space allows for expanded menu, too. Ate here the other day with three others; had Mojito appetizer sampler (love the ham croquets and yuca fries), ribs, and mojito sorbet for desert. Others had the fried pork and the black bean casserole (which is vegetarian but also delicious). Nothing was OK: all were great. Super friendly staff. Massive bar with too many beers on tap. AND so many TV that never have to worry about missing Braves or Atlanta United! Oh. And live music! Covered outdoor patio! Will be top destination at the Forum very VERY soon. read more

My friend and I went to Mojitos on a Saturday night. She wanted to go to a place with a good unpretentious vibe, with a live band and with dancing. This place had all of that! It was very lively, and people were dancing everywhere. Most of the customers were from South America, and a few were from Central America, and mostly Spanish was being spoken by the live band. I liked that it was very family friendly- you saw an abuela getting down on the dance floor and then a 10-year-old getting into the rhythm. It was exactly what my friend craved that night! We ordered a pitcher of mojito (it was not that strong, but I also did not want to get drunk) and we ordered yuca fries (pretty good). I know I will be coming back to Mojitos! read more

Craving Cuban food? Then this is the place to go. We have frequented this place for some time and since the pandemic have ordered takeout regularly over the last few months. You can go big (entrees) or small (several appetizers to share) and you'll be satisfied. My favorites: Churassco steak or Ropa Vieja with some really tasty sides of Tostones or Yuca. The Media Noche is also a hit with the family. And the rest of the sandwiches are not skimpy. We made the mistake once or ordering sandwiches and several sides and had to take food home cause the sandwiches are bigger than we thought. Pre-pandemic (and hopefully Post) they have live music during the weekends. The food is good and the atmosphere makes this a repeat visit. read more

We were meeting a group of friends at a nearby Brewery and one of our friends offered to bring food for the group from Mojito's. I'm always game to try a new restaurant and I love Cuban food and the cuban sandwich and plantains did not disappoint! The bread wasn't too thick, the portion was generous and the sandwich fillings were delicious! The plantains were cooked perfectly. I would definitely visit the location and order something else that doesn't transport as well as a sandwich LOL. read more

This place is alive and very busy. I suggest to go on Friday by 7pm as they have live band playing. Drinks and Food are great. My family enjoyed the sample platter--deliciousness to begin with. I ordered the Spicy Ox Tail, I'm salivating as I write this review, lol. wow!!! My wife had the Salmon and my 11 year old twins shared the Cubano Sandwich. They are really, really good. Mojito's has a great vibe. At certain times there is live music. Everything on the menu is very authentic Cuban cuisine. Even the sides are made with great care and quality. Really good black beans, gently sautéed plantains, their version of guacamole is called avocado salad. The avocado salad is very fresh. Try the beef empanadas. Each of their many authentic beef, pork, and chicken proteins are made with love and care and are very flavorful including the Ropa Vieja. They also have great Cuban sandwiches, a really good variety of cuban sandwiches to choose from including media' noche. They have very refreshing and interesting alcoholic goodies. mojitos agave cheesecake is one of a kind. Overall a great experience for you and your family or you and your pals or go solo and make a friend!
