Very enjoyable meal! I've inly come for lunch with a friend and each time I've enjoyed the food. I opt for the half Cuban sandwich with a side salad. Both portions are quite large. This was my first time to dine at this restaurant. Parking was ample on both sides of the restaurant. Four of us dined on the covered and heated patio which was a pleasant place to sit. Tables and patrons were spaced out due to COVID-19. The menu was launched using a QR code plaque on the table for touchless browsing. The menu has choices for carnivores and vegetarians. The strawberry mojitos were delicious and fruity. I ordered the shrimp creole and my friends ordered the churrasco steak platter. We also shared a variety of the empanadas. We finished with the guava cheesecake. All of the food was fresh and delicious. Our server was friendly and helpful however she had too many tables and we did end up walking around to find the hostess to request our check. Another minor quibble was that there were quite a few smokers on the sidewalk corridor just outside the patio and we had to endure cigarette smoke sporadically during our meal. I would hope that they would place no smoking signs in the corridor. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked with paper products. Came here again recently with my mother, and the service and outdoor seating experience continue to be wonderful. But we ordered the paella for two, and it was very disappointing. The dish itself looks beautiful, and comes fully loaded with seafood and chicken and all that jazz -- it's also big enough to feed you for days -- but the rice was watery and under-seasoned, the meat was really dry, and it was just...not good. It's also pretty expensive ($48 for 2). My mom has tried the paella at their other location (in Norcross), and said it was pretty good there, so I'm not sure what happened. We ended up packing most of it up and eventually throwing it away, much to our dismay. read more

We arrived about 6:00 pm and noticed from the sign outside that happy hour lasted until 7:30, this was a pleasant surprise as most places end happy hour much earlier. Unfortunately there was no mention of happy hour inside, no happy hour menu, so we asked our waitress, she pointed out a few items on the menu that were half price along with 2 for 1 bar drinks. We got the loaded Mariquitas, which was like Cuban nachos, it was a little hard to eat as the plantains were not very wide the toppings would fall off. It was probably the best thing we had. I had ordered the shrimp creole since there were so many good reviews of it, maybe I have a higher bar than others but, i was disappointed with it and would not order it again. My wife had the Roast pork loin (lechon asado), it was very dry, a disappointment. I've been to the other Mojitos location and enjoyed the food there (see my review) so why not visit their newer location and see what it had to offer. Environment: I definitely like that the Peachtree Corners location is much bigger than the space in "Old/Downtown" Norcross. There is a big stage in the dining room where a musician was crooning while playing the guitar and I enjoyed having the calming background music while eating. Food/drink: We ordered the Spicy Ox-tails and the Pollo a la Plancha to eat and a couple mojitos to drink. The Spicy Ox-tails were very tender and tasted fine, but I wish more pieces of meat came to the order as the ones I got were fewer and bonier than I'm used to. I think the Spicy Ox-tails at the other location were seasoned better and were meatier. I didn't taste the Pollo a la Plancha, but it looked good. Lastly the mojitos weren't that great (oh, the irony!) and only tasted like mint, simple syrup and soda water...did they forget the rum?? Service: The waiter was friendly and answered any questions he could to try to keep me happy so that was good. Overall, I'm glad I checked this location out, but I feel like the food and drinks may be better at the older location IMO. read more

If I could give them a zero I would. I had gone in a few weeks previously and had a luncheon special with salmon and two sides. It was very good and reasonably priced. I went back this weekend (Saturday) in the middle of the day and they did not have any luncheon specials. The salmon was now $23. Too much for me for a small piece of salmon. So I ordered a hamburger and menu said what "great" meat it was made out of. It seemed like it took well over a half an hour to 45 minutes to cook that hamburger... And they weren't that busy. When it came out the bun looked like it was several months old. The lettuce and tomato did not look fresh at all, and the hamburger was the flattest nastiest looking hamburger I have ever seen. It looked like a truck sat on it for an hour. I can't even tell you how bad it was. It was "VERT DRY" and "hard" and flavorless. I wish I had taken a picture!! the waiter brought the manager over and she apologized and said that hamburgers aren't their specialty that they specialize in Cuban food. Well, if you can't make hamburger, it shouldn't even be on your menu !!! Why would you put something on your menu that you know is going to be disgusting and not up to your quality ??? Just quick money from teenagers that don't have any tastebuds yet? She told me the hamburgers were processed. It comes packed in packages and they just pull one out and put it on the grill. (that's probably why it took so long... It was frozen! ). If this is supposed to be a real restaurant, why are there hamburgers much worse than any McDonald's hamburger I've ever had.? Mojito's is a lively Cuban restaurant located in The Forum at Peachtree Corners. We were quickly seated despite not having reservations on a crowded Saturday night. Our server seemed like he was in training but was very nice and helpful. We started with the yuca fries served hot but rather flavorless and a tiny side of green sauce. The dish needed a larger amount of dipping sauce considering the quantity and size of the fries. I had the guava mojito, which was sweet and strong, accompanied with the palomilla steak. The steak is very long and thin as though it were hammered and it's topped with onions. It was good but not great. It came with a side of rice, black beans, and plantains. I really liked the plantains most. My friend ordered the vaca frita and savored every last bite. I had the guava cheesecake for dessert and it was tasty and had nice swirls of guava throughout. At 8pm, the live band starts playing on stage and it's definitely fun entertainment. read more

The food is average, not bad and not great. Drinks are average, in plastic cups :/ , but they took forever to come out, the waiter was nice and friendly but everything is slow -- so come for the LIVE music, dancing and ambiance but make sure you have more time than you think. The waiter was also very rushed. Just super busy. The place was fairly packed too. I must say though, the ambiance and music and overall feel was great! We danced. The food was average. The sampler appetizer was pretty good. The sandwich was okay, good but not great. The dessert was excellent and homemade. I will come back, we had a good time. I ventured to the other side of the Perimeter to this gem of a place. As I pulled up to the ample street parking, I noticed a few tables and umbrellas outside. Since I didn't think sitting outside in jeans was a good idea, I cozied up inside a window table. The server was friendly and offered suggestions on their most popular dishes. I opted for the black bean soup, Shrimp Creole, and a glass of sangria. The food was deliciously delightful. The presentation on the soup was adorable. Almost too pretty to eat. Almost. It was rich and creamy. The shrimp creole was tasty, but my heart told me to get the spicy oxtails but knew I'd have leftovers and wasn't immediately going home. I went to Mojitos recently for my birthday. Naturally I was nervous to try somewhere new for the occasion, but wow was I blown away. Mojitos made me feel like I was on vacation. The "vibe" as the kids say, was perfect, the music, the ambiance, it really set the tone. Not to mention the food was authentic to the T!!!!. I am a bit of a food snob and I can always tell the difference between authentic vs Americanized. Everything meshed well together. The drinks...omg. We had gotten a pitcher of Guava mojito and ugh! I was in heaven. The appetizers were delish- we ordered the Mojito Sampler. For entree's we ordered the Vaca Frita and the Piscato (seafood dish). Can't forget about dessert, we ordered the guava cheesecake and the flan. Everything was exquisite. Let me start by saying, the oxtail was amazing...flavorful and tender. The meals comes with white rice and plantains. I do think the restaurant can do better with Covid 19 safety precautions. I went for an early dinner (5:30pm) and sat on the patio. We were seated right next to a party - certainly a lot less than 6ft. Pretty soon, the patio was packed. Full disclosure: maybe everyone had the same idea and wanted patio seating because the inside of the restaurant was empty in comparison. We ordered plenty of food. Of all the dishes the seafood paella was awesome. So much seafood and portion...even tho it says for 1...can feed up to 3 people. One thing I csn say is that the chicken is a little dry. Mojito sample platter was good but would love it if they have some chimichurri sauce. The sauces available was a red hot sauce and avocado sauce. It needs a kick. La vaca Frita dish was decent. The meat was a little chewy but the grilled onion was a great addition. Empanizado was huge in size..flavor was decent. Didnt try but heard that the iced cuban coffee was delicious Service however needs work. Really enjoyed our meal here last night. It's wasn't too crowded, but there were definitely quite a few people dining in. We sat outside just for precaution. The waiters and waitresses all wear masks. The food was very yummy. There are so many delicious options. Every plate I saw come out looked amazing. We got a Cuban and a media noche. ATMOSPHERE This is a large space with indoor and outdoor dining. When walking in you notice a stage full of instruments - my friend told me there is live music on the weekends. The overall look and feel makes me think im eating upscale so I loved the atmosphere. This is located in the forum (the older area of the Forum) across from Grace 17:20. HELPFUL STAFF The staff there was a bit helpful and down to earth. Our waiter was very friendly. She told us what dishes she didnt care for and what dishes she liked which at the time was very helpful. THE FOOD | MIXED FEELINGS Daral (The YAM) got the steak sandwich, it came out looking amazing and tasted amazing (according to him). When his dish came out I was like "whoa gotta try this next time". My wish came out and looked pretty good. I ordered the Vaca Frita which was suppose to be tender pulled seasoned pork with plantains and black beans. This is where It got a bit strange for me. The pulled pork was not tender...at all. It was more like pulled jerky. But at first I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt so I pulled at it, tried other parts and eventually had a sore jaw from all of the chewing. This stuff was not yielding to my chewing and eventually I had to call our waiter over and give it back to the kitchen. After that, I went ahead and ordered a cuban sandwich. This was a bit of an elevation. I love the bread that they use on the sandwiches and the only thing I can say about the cuban was that it could have used more sauce. A good bit of my bites were very dry. Afterwards when it was time to go, I noticed I was charged for both dishes even though I barely ate the one that was unedible. This review is strictly for the food at Mojitos only . The ambience and the aesthetic of the restaurant are obviously the only thing going for this restaurant. Because the food itself is so plain, it's so simple and expensive for what it is ? I don't understand how anybody can go there to eat. The description of the food sounds delicious and then you get your plate and it's such a disappointment. I've gone three times to give it a chance and every time I've tried something different on their menu this time I got the beef sandwich. How do you mess up a beef sandwich? The beef itself had no flavor. The sandwich only had flavor because of the three caramelized onions they put. My sister got the red snapper which any other snapper would not look like a Frozen tilapia fillet with a bunch of garlic on top of it . And for the price of what they're charging they charge red snapper price for tilapia . Ridiculous. The salmon is a little piece of salmon with a couple chunks of mango. Also, how does it have no flavor ? The beans taste like straight out they don't even bother to add any seasoning to it. And the rice just taste like instant rice. My husband got the Churrasco the hardest piece of meat ever with no flavor nonetheless and the chimichurri sauce is basically just olive oil with some herbs in it. Can we please add some salt? What a delicious Cuban restaurant! I ordered the spicy oxtail dish and it was perfection. The portion is definitely worth the seventeen dollars. The gravy and rice went perfectly together. The plantains were perfectly cooked and it went really well with the savory dish! The oxtail was cooked to where it was just tender and fell straight off the bone. It was so satisfying. Our server was amazing, she was so helpful with recommendations and constantly checking on us. There's plenty of parking and plenty of space for big parties as well. They have outdoor seating.
