This establishment was such a surprise! Mojito's is located in Downtown Norcross, across from The Crossing Steakhouse. Parking can be crazy during dinner hours and the weekend, so I opted out to parking at the lot close to The Iron Horse Tavern. It was a two minute walk from there to the restaurant. We came mid-week, so the wait wasn't too bad. For dinner, we had the Ham Croquettes, Roast Pork Loin, Vaca Frita, Pan Con Bistec. Reminded me to much of the Cuban food I've had whilst in Miami. The portions are huge! The mojitos was refreshing and delicious. We shared a pitcher. For dessert, since they ran out of the flan, we ordered the pineapple custard. Rich and equally delightful. Visited this place on a Saturday night and it was a great night! They had live music with a full band. No space to dance but the music was excellent. Music is on the louder side but I really enjoyed it. They have a few tables outside in front of the restaurant in the event you want a quieter dinner. I highly suggest the Ropa Vieja which is a shredded beef in a tasty tomato based sauce. It comes with white rice, black beans and three plantain slices. We also had the Stuffed Rice- this was my favorite dish. It's yellow rice with white chicken breast and melted cheese on top. It's excellent. For drinks we had a pitcher of their classic Mojito. It was fresh and tasty. I feel like an individual mojito was a little more stronger than the pitcher. Either way, it was delicious. read more

Went here on a lovely date last night. The atmosphere was cute, cozy, and romantic. Everything on the menu looked good and reasonably priced. I can see why this place has such good ratings. Plus, you can browse or relax at the park nearby after dinner. This place is a win win pick if you ask me. The date and I shared the yuca fries and breaded chicken fillet plate since my appetite has been on the low end. I wasn't digging the meal too much since the chicken and rice was a tad too dry. The chicken was an all-white meat so the way they prepared the dish, it was super dry. The avocado salad was delish. I'm not an avocado fan, but I really digged this salad as it was fresh and flavorful. The plantains that came along with this dish was also pretty good. The presentation, service, and company was nice though so it wasn't a total loss. I heard that the mojitos here were super good so that's an item to try next time. We should have probably gotten the stuffed rice though since it sounded interesting... I was being a gentleman and let the date pick since I picked the restaurant... We live in Cobb County, and this is still our go-to place for Cuban food. It's worth the drive! The ambiance is casual but nice, with overhead music you can often catch the staff singing along to. The staff are fast and friendly as well. The empanadas are awesome, and our favorite dishes are the Pollo a la Plancha and the Masitas de Puerco, but honestly everything is great. The only 2 things I've tried here that I didn't like were basically just because I don't like guava and didn't know it (that was actually what led to me finding out). read more

Do you ever glance at a menu and you have a desire to try every item listed? The menu at Mojito's ignited that feeling inside of me. I immediately knew that my eyes were bigger than my stomach! But let's rewind a little. I found myself off of Jimmy Carter Blvd with a friend and needed to grab a bite to eat. After checking out Yelp- this place appeared to be a winner! We followed the GPS direction which took us to the location without a hitch. When we arrived we immediately fell in love. The restaurant is located in the heart of Historic Downtown Norcross, which needs an independent review. However, note that due to the location of the restaurant you can make this a one stop date night. Of note, we arrived around 4:30 pm on a Sunday and had no problem finding parking on the strip. Now, as we walked in I noted that the restaurant was a little dark, and a little on the smaller side. There were a number of patrons already seated, but there was no wait for us. We were seated in the front area which provided sunlight from the window. It is also a great spot as you are in close proximity to the bar and the restrooms. There is also additional seating outside. On to the service. Our wait staff name was Quadree and he provided top notch customer service. He was friendly, insightful, and prompt. From the time we sat down to our departure he was on point. Based on the level of service he provided, he made us feel as if we were his only table. He is a real asset to this organization! Now to what everyone has been waiting for, the food. We ordered the stuffed plantains for an appetizer. They consisted of three bowl shaped plantains, two stuffed with shrimp, and one with avocado. While they were good, the stuffed portion over shadowed the taste of the plantains. I am not certain that I would order these again on my next visit. For my main dish, I ordered the Elena Ruth sandwich. This sandwich, oh my gosh. The combination of sweet and salty and the texture of the bread worked amazingly well. I thought to Oder one to go, but convinced myself I did not need it. The sandwiches are served with a side. I opted for the black beans. They were ok, I feel like they could have used some extra seasoning. Of note, the menus does indicate that the chef is not s fan of adding too much salt, you can always add more if you need it. My friend ordered the turkey Cuban with a salad. It was equally tasty! I really enjoyed everything about this restaurant. I only wish it were closer to home. Looking forward to my next visit to Norcross so I can try out some other menu options! read more

They even have a few out side umbrella tables that you can sit at and watch the world go by. And, if your lucky even experience the nearby train. This restaurant is one of my favorite places for Cuban food in metro Atlanta. The food has an authentic taste. Portion size is large. I can always get 2 meals out of the lunch portions. I think there is some room for improvement with service. During my last visit the waiter stopped to take a phone call (restaurant's phone) while we were in the middle of ordering. At the end of the lunch, after the table was cleared and to-go boxes were brought, no check was brought. After about 15 minutes, we got up to ask for our checks. Once the checks were brought, we waited another 10 - 15 minutes for the waiter to return with our credit cards. -- The restaurant was not crowded at the time, so we weren't sure what the hold up was. read more

Check out this neat spot located in Downtown Norcross! I've had their seafood paella, and it is definitely a crowd favorite! It is loaded with different seafood and the quantity itself is huge. I've had their sangria and mojito before as cocktails go, and I highly recommend! I will say when I came here to dine a few years ago pre-COVID, it was a lot more lively and packed with people. However, when I went a few months ago during the heat of the pandemic, business seemed slower and the ambiance of the restaurant wasn't how I remembered it. The paella here is the best paella I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing. Mojito's is located in downtown Norcross. It can be challenging to find parking in the limited space here, especially on weekend evenings. The neighborhood and surrounding areas is very quaint. Surrounded by a bunch of mom and pop shops and other restaurants. Occasionally there'll be an event taking place in the park, which also adds to the parking challenge. The staff at Mojito's is friendly. A lot more accommodating than the space inside. You're not exactly sharing tables, but the space in between is just enough to be able to squeeze through without bumping into someone. The restaurant is dimly lit (in the evenings) and the few times I've been here they've had a live band playing some tunes. The Paella: I can't express enough how much I love the paella here. According to the menu, it comes in two serving sizes, for 1 or for 2. The price difference is only $10 between the two but the amount you get is a lot more. The serving size for 1 can most definitel be shared between 2-4 people. The serving size for 2 between 4-6 and this is being generous portions. You can also "make it a feast" and add churrasco steak and chorizo to your paella. DO IT! The steak is so tender and delicious. The only thing I dont like about this dish is the pork pieces that comes with it, it is a bit tough and doesn't mesh very well with the rest of the dish. Mojito's offers many more menu items that I haven't tried simply because when I'm here I don't want to regret not having gotten the paella. Mmmm~~ read more

After reading the other great reviews, I settled on this spot for my Cuban OTP run. It is located in what I believe​ is Downtown Norcross (sorry, I'm an ITP'er so I could admittedly be wrong), which was has an old school Christmas Village feel and was very quaint. Food: This was a To-Order for pick-up. Ordered the Tamales, Guava BBQ Baby Back Ribs, Spicy Ox-Tail (Rabo Encendido), and Yuca Con Mojo. Also ordered some mojitos while I waited. Everything was flavorful and delicious. The tamales were full of yummy juicy pork and the cornmeal was fluffy and nice. The ribs and oxtails were fall off the bone tender with the guava BBQ sauce providing some sweetness for the ribs and the oxtails were well-seasoned and a wonderful spicy. The mojito was one of the best I've had in the Atlanta area. Minus one star because upon getting home I realized they forgot to include my Yuca (super sadness since that was what I was craving the most!) Atmosphere: The restaurant is a decent size. There is a tiny bar to the front, 2 rooms of dining tables/chairs, an area for a band to play live music, and more seating on an outside patio to the back. If I'm ever in the area again, I would definitely visit this spot again, but hopefully this time I'll get to have my Yuca Con Mojo! read more
