Car park wasnt good for your best shoes either - suggest jeans trainers and tee shirt. Reading the reviews - it seemed a great place to go - but they are dated 2012 - its now 2019. My friend googled their food cleanse things and was horrified to see zero rated. Summer 2019. ive just checked and its not changed. Go enjoy the garden centre - great plants and stuff.

Let's be honest, eating dinner at a garden centre usually sounds like the sort of things your parents or grandparents (depending on your age!) would do, however, this little slice of African themed heaven is a far cry from what you'd normal expect of such a place! I've not made it to Africa, though have traveled widely in Asia, and the outside felt totally authentic, being similar to bars and restaurants I've eaten in abroad. Even outside, you are sheltered from the rain, and inside, where the buffet is served, it's warm and cosy, with live music of an evening, and the most amazing spread of food. I've been a number of times since that first dinner, having returned in the day with my dog, as it's dog friendly if you're happy to sit outside - they even bring a bowl of water for our four legged friends! I've had lunch there, and the most fabulous afternoon cream tea, and cake, whilst the choice is limited, what they offer is very tasty (and I'm a fan of cake!) I loved it that much the first night, that I've refused to go there for a meal again, as I'm going for my 40th, which happens to fall on a Thursday, and looking forward to sharing the experience with close friends. The service is always friendly. It's not always super fast, as it runs on Kenyan time, so this isn't the place to go in a rush. Indeed, why would you? It's such a delightful experience that it deserves to be cherished. Oh, and the shop is pretty fab too! So yes, dog friendly, fab food, great shop and friendly service!

I ordered the Lamb with okra and I highly recommend anyone who visits to try it. The restaurant is nice and has a relaxing atmosphere, always clean which is very important to me and the workers there a so lovely and welcoming. My freinds and I visit every Wednesday to drink their yummy milk tea which is made deliciously. It goes great along side their freshly baked pastries/breads. Thank you for always welcoming us to your wonderful restaurant

If you have read my review about that then you will be surprised to read that complete opposite of that review here. I had a chance to go to try this branch, not sure about the quality and service from previous branch... but I was totally in for surprise. What a welcome, beautiful family environment with traditional comfortable seatings. The restaurant doesn't make your cloth stink after you have left the place, this is the main factor I look for a good restaurant. Secondly I like to see how the service is, and this place has lots of good things to talk about. The service is superb compared to previous (original branch experience) experience. I went on Thursday night and the place was quiet but very peaceful. Very clean and family friendly. The price is reasonable for authentic arabian food in my opinion. I went with family so we ordered few different dishes to try out. And they were all yummy as usually arabian food is always yummy. Very healthy as they use a lot of lemon, which is very good for digestion and burning your body fat. They have good parking space on the side road at the back of the restaurant. They have good space to serve good amount of customers. I will fully recommend this place to anyone who would like to try some authentic lebanese food in Birmingham. I am so happy that so many arabian food restaurants are springing up in Birmingham and most of them are superb as they serve authentic arabian food with good standards. So in short, Anyone want good authentic arabian food, Go to BADER Restaurant on Ladypool Road, they are SUPERB.

After a bad experience a few days earlier at a branch of Nando's elsewhere in Birmingham, I surely hoped this one was better and this branch actually exceeded my expectations which after having bad experiences at branches elsewhere in the West Midlands' branches of the chain including Wolverhampton, I previously put down to a regional issue, but this store was up with the best locations of Nando's I have visited in the United Kingdom. The seating area was a little small, but I still had no problem getting a table straight away ahead of getting a train home to Manchester, and the service was pretty good - this isn't a "travel" location despite it being located in Grand Central which is built into New Street station but it's so close this is a good place to come without travelling too much in the city ahead of a train from Birmingham New Street. The staff seemed really friendly, we had a little chat while he took my order - One thing I liked about the manager often than his friendliness was his communication, he made sure all the staff knew my allergy order was coming through before he'd even taken it, allowing them time to prepare so my food was a little quicker to arrive and still safe for me, knowing it would be gluten-free. My food was good quality - sometimes the chips can be hit and miss from Nando's, but like the chicken, they were cooked and seasoned well. Some of the tables did seem a little awkward, being a small location it can sometimes be difficult to get down from getting into the store to where you have to go to order/get sauces/toilets etc - I did notice an upstairs area, I didn't notice a lift however so I presume these were just the toilets. A very good location of Nando's, even succeeding Nando's standards as well as being their best branch I have visited in Central England and Midlands region, on comparison to branches in the likes of Birmingham Bullring, Stoke on-Trent and Wolverhampton.

Finally, I persuaded a few girlfriends to come and check it out with me, as part of my occasional 'foods of the world' evenings where we try something a little out of the mainstream. On an early Thursday evening, the place is quieter compared to how busy it always seems on Friday and Saturday nights. But it is early and the other customers seem to be regulars who new exactly what to order. We were perplexed and needed quite a bit of help from our waitress but with main courses starting around £6.50, it's worth taking a little risk. All the girls ordered fairly safe dishes with rice and their plates were almost empty. I had a more filling beef dish that came wrapped in a blanket of a pancake like rice bread and I barely got through half of it as these are big portions. The highlight for me was being offered the coffee ceremony (a big coffee fan). Amazingly only 2 out of the 6 of us drink coffee so more for us. The fabulously patient waiter bought us out the roasting hot coffee beans, I presume to smell and then went away and made coffee for us. This arrived with espresso sized cups on a specially made tray that held the pot on a side shelf. It tasted divine and we didn't even get charged the normal £10 for the coffee ceremony. Great service and worth going back just for the coffee!
