Paneer tikka masala
Kush S.

We ordered the shaam savera & paneer tikka masala both of whose gravy (base curry) was similar in taste although the shaam savera tasted better. Also ordered the schezwan paneer pizza whose sauce didn't taste fresh & was sour. I would have given this place 4 stars if they hadn't charged a mandatory gratuity for a group of 4 & to top it off had an option to add gratuity (which we did since we weren't aware)

Visiting family and decided to head out to dinner. My family raves about this place and I am happy to report it met all my expectations. This place is what true Indian food should be like. I have yet to find anything even .1% close to this back in Des Moines! Des Moines do better!!! We went in on a Friday night and the place was packed! Basically you order and they bring the food to the table. We got the butter chicken, dal makhani, garlic naan, butter naan, papdi chat omg so good! Paneer tikka, malai chicken, fish pakora. And for the kiddos we got plain noodles which were very deceiving but flavorful. Overall this place deserves more than 10 stars. I didn't get much pictures so here is all I can offer. There is a huge Indian community around this Jersey area so that I think places a huge role in the food expectations. Overall wonderful experience I absolutely loved it. Can not wait to come back. Chili Garlic Fried Rice...great combination of flavors!

Honestly, if I could give this establishment infinity stars I would! The food was just so incredibly good!! Came here prior to the pandemic with some of my co-workers as it was highly recommended and my only regret is that 1. We had not gone prior! and 2. I am over an hour away and am tempted to take the drive just to get some take out! The entire table got the Chicken Tikka Masala with Naan and an order of the Chili Garlic Fried Rice for the table. As we were waiting, the aromas that filled the restaurant had you salivating even before the food got to the table! We got the Chili Garlic Fried Rice first and it was packed with flavor! It was not overly garlicky or overly spicy. It was the perfect combination of flavor. But nothing could beat the Chicken Tikka Masala. Holy amazingness!! It was so like I died and went to Indian Flavor Heaven!! The creaminess of the Masala sauce left you wanting more Naan to dip it in! The chicken was juicy and tender and went you mixed it altogether with the rice, oh my! Soooo good! I ate until I could not eat anymore and even when they were clearing the table, I had to take just a little more Naan to scrape off the little Masala sauce that was left! Yes, it was that good!! And it was pretty cool that they had an area where you could pack your own leftovers since it could get a little messy! I cannot wait to physically go back to work because this is the first place I am going to for takeout!

Garlic Naan

Incredible food and GREAT value! Everythjg was fresh and they made it vegan for us! Coming back all the time!

I can't tell if I'm crying from the spice or from how good it all was. The chicken angare was absolutely killer.

But with that said, my girl wanted some Indo Chinese.... so we made the trip here to see whether it's worth a second visit. Now, to be clear: the Rose is a Pan Asian Cuisine. So it's not necessarily just Indo Chinese, but it also encompasses flavors from all the other countries too. We ended up ordering 3 items in the following order: 1a: Gobi Manchurian 1b: Smoked Vegetable Sizzler 2: Mushroom Sautéed in Ginger Garlic We ordered the first two together and those arrived relatively quickly. The Gobi Manchurian was the better of the two, but I wonder if it was a bit too overpowered with spice and less of the sweet and sour taste (or even the soy sauce). The spice was a bit too overbearing. The sizzler was fine, but it was mostly onions and peppers. The tofu - while cooked fine - surprised me because it was like the silky ma po tofu (which coincidentally is what they serve here). In other words, the same tofu is repeated across multiple meals. I think the tofu needed to be pan fried at least for a sizzler. Because of the above, we didn't feel full and thought that the mushroom would provide a different taste pallet. Unfortunately, that was a miss as the mushroom had the same taste as the gobi manchurian, when it should've been infused with the ginger garlic. Additionally, the mushroom was way too overcooked so you couldn't even taste them either. It was like a crunchy mushroom. No good. To make things worse, the waiter, who also manned the front desk, seemed a bit too aloof at times. Often that meant not refilling water unless prompted and not providing the check on time or not even setting up the tables properly with silverware. It was a bit disappointing. This place has the potential, especially with the cute decor. But failed execution with the food and some lackluster service do not make this a place I'd recommend in the future.

The owner and service are wonderful and kind. If you want a brilliant taste explosion things like Mongolian beef, the surprisingly inventive Sushi pizza (if have not had beautiful sushi flavor on fluffy scallion pancakes you haven't lived), and their drunken noodle are some of my favorites. Go for the lively mood and feeling and the great atmosphere too! We are lucky have this local treasure.

Even if there is a wait, we have never waited longer than 30 minutes for a table. The service is very prompt and waiters are very good at checking on you and refilling your drinks, cleaning up your table, or asking you if everything is good. The food is ordered via paper and pencil, you select what you want and provide it to the waiter. They send the order to the kitchen and you receive the food when it comes out. For an AYCE buffet, the fish quality is consistently pretty good at Hiro. They offer Nigiri and Sashimi on the menu, as well as classic and specialty rolls. If I could suggest one thing it'd be adding hand rolls to the menu. The tuna and salmon here are consistently good and the yellowtail was surprisingly good. They have a bunch of different appetizers ranging from edamame, sushi pizza, to tartar, most of them are actually very good. The kitchen entrees are very good as well such as the kimchi fried rice and the Mongolian beef. Although it's not the most spacious inside, the way they set up the booths and tables it gives you enough separation from other tables to not feel super crammed inside. Highly recommended for an AYCE sushi spot in Central NJ!

For an eatery in a supermarket food court, M Thai serves up very, very decent food…read more When we were there, there was no one stationed at the front. It appears in-person orders are accepted primarily through the kiosk. The only other person that was there was the cook in the back, and when we flagged him down with some questions about the menu, his English was pretty limited. That said, we were pretty happy with our order. We noticed a lot of happy reviews mentioned the char kway teow, and it's just as good as others have found. The serving size is hearty, and each strand of flat noodle is well-seasoned. Our other was the crab fried rice. We'd never had it before and just ordered it out of sheer curiosity. On the plus side, it had a decent amount of actual crab meat, enough to see it and taste it in the entree. But it was on the blander side and seemed very plain when contrasted with the saucy char kway teow noodles. On a whim, I also ordered a Thai iced coffee, which turned out to be a bit of a fail. There was no actual ice in the coffee (which quickly rendered it lukewarm while we were sitting and sipping), and the coffee somehow straddled both extremes of bitter and sweet - it was extremely sugary on the front and left a bitter taste on the back end. While we wouldn't go out of our way for a return trip, we were happy with our food, and even had enough to take home. I'd definitely recommend giving this spot a try if you're in the area. Seating is in a modestly sized communal space, so it's first come first served.
