The original 'Purex' equipment was built tough and lasted until 50 years, wow. None the less it couldn't last forever. The pump developed a non-repairable leak and was dumping several gallons of water on a patio per hour. Brian was recommended to me and I gave him a call. He responded quickly despite the heavy rain that week and the COVID 19 pandemic. He checked out my equipment, made a recommendation, and gave me an estimate. The estimate was beyond fair and he began working the next day. In the end, he removed the old DE filter, solid brass pump, and 1.8hp motor and replaced it with a brand new cartridge filter, pump housing, and 1/2 hp motor. Within a few hours the pool was up and running again with zero leaky equipment. Bonus: The new 1/2 hp motor uses way less electricity and pumps twice as much water as the old beast. Many thanks Brian and we will be doing more pool upgrades in the future.

He took the time to explain what the possibilities of the pool we could do, offered several options and knew the local codes to ensure the pool was done properly. He started the project within a week so we were happy to get the project going. The one characteristic that made him stand out was when he said he was going to be there on Monday, he was there. Anyone who's done a home project knows that this is the most frustrating part of the process. His guys actually showed up each day and the project took just a few weeks. It appeared that they worked on one project until it was completed instead of being spread too thin. We added a baja shelf, some stairs that are pretty stylish, the pebbletech material and replaced the pool pump. For the pebbletech we threw in some abalone shell too and that really gives it a sparkle. Walter went way above and beyond by also fixing our pool light rather than replacing it.
