I had my pool built by MBros with Sergio leading the project, and from the start he was professional, easy to work with, and offered helpful design suggestions. What impressed me most was the follow-through. Unlike many contractors who disappear after the job is done, Sergio stood by his work. When small issues came up over the year, like our pool lights going out or defective parts (fire bowls burners started to rust badly), etc. he and his brother came back, honored the warranty, and made sure everything was resolved. Yes, some parts took time to arrive, but Sergio followed through until the job was complete. He clearly takes pride in his work, cares about his customers' satisfaction, and gives me confidence that if something comes up in the future, I can count on him to help. My only advice for others is to keep communication clear and written so both sides stay on the same page. Salvador arrived on time as scheduled. When he arrived I explained my issue again which was that…read morewater was not coming out of one of my pool returns/jets which I believed was causing poor circulation and thus pool water getting worse. Even though I have just cleaned the filters 2 weeks prior the water was still getting worse and algae growing. He took one look at my plumbing, took the sound of the pump running into account and said that my pump sounds like it's going out. I let him know that I had just replaced the pump just over a year ago with this new Variable speed one and how I utilize the valves according to how the previous home owner told me. I showed him how I move the valves to have water passed to the pool and spa to circulate both at the same time. Salvador then move the valves himself noticing something else off and the pressure began to drop. At first I got frightened not wanting to ruin the pump so immediately put the valves just back to normal. Turns out he was just trying to show and explain to me that whoever did the valve placement before did it wrong and thus how the previous owner told me how to turn the valves was incorrect as well. The suction valve was in reverse so the "off" placement was upside down. Then on the return valve the safety so that it doesn't close the whole valve fully was worn down, so while I was turning the valve how I was told to do it was actually closing the valve a bit while at the same time opening the spa return a little too. This was causing back pressure back to pump which now clicked on my head. No wonder the original pump went bad soon after I moved in and now this new variable pump I put was also going bad. He recommended I upgrade to a 2hp variable pump instead of the 1.65 I had based on my pool size and spa. He also recommended changing the size of the plumbing from suction to return from 1.5 to 2. From the interaction we just had I had the full confidence he knew what he was talking about and I felt a little bad questioning him just based on what the previous owner had relayed to me on how the pump and valve works. He gave me a price and asked how soon... 24hrs later the new upgraded pump, the new upgrade plumbing and the valves also corrected to show the true way was done. He showed me the correct way to use the valves now for both pool, spa use or individually. Once he showed me for Spa use only, I saw bubbles once again! I hadn't seen bubbles in my spa in just under a year. I checked the return/jet that was once not flowing any water now flowing nicely! And the pump wasn't even running at full rpm's but at 1400rpm. We obviously put it higher for quick clean and within 10 minutes of running we could already see the water cleaning up the green and algae! I think it helps that Salvador understood that I had complete trust in him that he also provided optimal service. I wasn't over his and his helper shoulder watching the whole installation, but stayed near by in case he needed something or to ask a question which he did. Looking back I kind of wish I would have tried to at least tried to see if the price could go down a little but to be honest I was just thinking to get it fixed asap before the water gets worse and other issues arise. With that said once everything was done I do think the price was set right. I am highly satisfied with the whole service and process and will recommend completely. I even had just a couple of questions after he had already left for the day and Salvador was happy enough to respond back and give further advice. 10/10 stars if I could. Salvador is invited to the Carne Asada.

They gave us lots of options to replace our coping and upgrade to pebble tec/tile but we were on a tight budget and they understood this. There wasn't any pressure to from them to consider the more luxury options. We ended up wanting to go with whatever needed to get done and added on their startup service. I went to the showroom to pick out tile for the waterline and they had so many options to choose from. We decided to go with the pebble tec (because of the longevity aspect) the day before they were going to plaster and they were so accommodating. Once the work started, they finished the project very quickly. Working with Fred and Eddie throughout the whole process was such a pleasant experience. I would recommend them to anyone who needs pool related work done. I cannot wait to enjoy our new pool thanks to Pool Effects!

Let me start by admitting that, as a first time home owner, I have no idea all the decisions that…read morego into this stuff....and the costs associated with everything. Blake and Brad took the time to explain all options and how they differ from one another...which was great, considering how indecisive I can be when I don't feel fully informed about things. Blake was the one who came out to my house and took the time to make sure that I completely satisfied with everything. He brought multiple samples and made visual displays for me of what each option would look like at completion. I was really grateful for his patience with me.... not only that, but he seemed like he actually CARED just as much as I did about how the pool turned out. It totally felt like a team effort. They were honest and I never felt as if they were pushing an agenda! I had a LOT of questions and requested additions and deletions to the initial quote, and they were nothing but accommodating. And they never made me feel like a nuisance either! Their follow up was perfect; on time and consistent, but not bothersome. I'm really big on communication and this company definitely got that right! I always felt comfortable throughout the entire process. Sunbrite Pools crew was also great to work with. Ismael and the guys were always very respectful and kept my property clean. Normally you'd think that something like this would feel intrusive, but, I honestly didn't mind seeing them everyday. I love my new pool and I would definitely recommend them to others!
