Had to wait another 15 minutes even though there were only two people in line. I think Madonna would have insisted longer if more people had come in, but lickily that was it. Seems kinda pointless that I'd have to wait to get to the front of the line if that lady is just gonna insist that I wait for other people that entered the store after before the guy could help me. Not sure if I'll come back, maybe on some day that Madonna isn't working there.

Because I needed to buy the same bulb as my other headlight went out last week. Not sure why light bulbs don't last long these days. Before my first visit at this AutoZone, I went to Walmart searching and found found what I needed. But they don't have anyone paying attention to their customers. I got on the internet and found AutoZone in Chinatown. I love the Zone for all of my auto accessories need. I had a choice of another AutoZone near my house. But I choose this store because of huge parking lot and much friendlier traffic. My question to the store clerk, "can I bring the light bulb back if it doesn't work?" Answer was, no. He recommended me to have the car checked by auto mechanic for electrical connections. Because it could be something other than just light bulb. So, I took a chance to buy one bulb. Now, I regretted I should had bought 2 bulbs.

I completely understand if that's company policy, but the employee who answered was unnecessarily rude and dismissive about it. I ended up going to another auto parts store a couple of blocks away, where they installed the battery without issue and treated me kindly.

I had normal and friendly interactions with most of the staff here. Except mark. Mark is an elderly employee who seems to think he's a mechanic. After I was sold a faulty remanufactured alternator (happens wasn't too worried) I went to return it. And settled on getting a brand new one to save some hassle, well the expert Mark sold me another faulty alternator. So after having already spent time and money to uber myself back up there to return and replace it once again. Mark decides and I quote "it's your car not our product, I don't feel right selling YOU another product if you're just going to return it" so after a brief but respectful argument and his coworker Maria stepping in to mediate. I let mark know his job is to sell car parts. Not play diagnoses hero. And end up buying a brand new one out of pocket again because mark refused to refund the faulty product he sold me and also refused to get a manager. I ended up taking the part and vehicle to Universal Auto Mechanics shop and they kindly let me know it was yet another bad product. Luckily they decided to just sell me a new alternator directly and I returned marks faulty product again to the store manager. I have receipts with dates and times and marks name on it, he was rude and slightly racist. As much as I'd like to get an apology getting mark investigated and or fired is fine by me as well. Great job everyone else, mark I hope you lose your job. You're a poor excuse of a retail worker who likely should've quit long ago

So we give them good ratings. And they're not too far from Chinatown and some of the places we eat, so very convenient. 1 Star -- Defective Part, Customer Stuck Paying Labor Twice…read more I purchased a remanufactured MasterPro rack and pinion from O'Reilly Auto Parts for my 2010 Toyota Venza. After paying a mechanic to install it, we discovered the replacement rack had the same steering problem as the original. The mechanic inspected it on the lift and found excessive movement where the steering shaft connects to the rack. Now the entire rack has to be removed and replaced again, meaning I have to pay additional labor because of a defective replacement part. O'Reilly will replace the part under warranty, but refuses to cover any of the additional labor costs. My issue isn't that a part failed. Parts fail. My issue is that O'Reilly sells remanufactured components, yet when one is defective immediately after installation, the customer is left paying for the consequences. I've spent a substantial amount of money at O'Reilly purchasing parts for this repair. I expected better customer support, especially when dealing with a critical steering component. A replacement part doesn't make up for having to pay a mechanic twice to do the same job. Very disappointing experience.
