On August 11, 2022, I bought a battery from their old location on Imperial Valley in Houston (Store #8412). It came with a 3-year warranty. Fast forward, I started having issues with the battery while still under warranty. I called customer service, and they told me to return to the store I bought it from. I explained that it had closed, but they found my account using my phone number just not the battery purchase (which made no sense). Then they told me I needed a code from the battery itself, which I didn't have at the time. A few days later, I went to a store and found out the store had just relocated to Rankin Road. I ended up buying a new battery on May 23, 2025, and no one could help me replace my battery. The store manager pointed out a local mechanic in the store and asked him to help. When the mechanic removed my battery, he confirmed it was one sold by Advance Auto and said it was definitely still under warranty. We went inside together, and an employee was able to find my purchase right away using my phone number, which the phone rep somehow "couldn't." He claimed the warranty was "almost expired" and warned I wouldn't be able to return the new one if it failed, completely misleading. I am still under warranty now for that old battery because it was purchased 8/11/22 the current date is 6/7/2025. I went up there again the next day and another employee allowed me to take a pic of their computer system proving my warranty actually ends 8/11/2025. I was able to take a pic of my account in their system showing all this information. The new purchase was on 5/23/25. You ask me, they're up there stealing. Stating my best option would be to keep the new battery and the new warranty. For the record, this was my first and only time trying to use the warranty. I truly feel I was being taken advantage of, and honestly, I think they assumed I didn't know my rights because I'm a woman. The store manager even admitted the issue was mishandled and that he had spoken to the employee who caused the confusion. He said he wanted to help but that he was only allowed to issue a merch card. He suggested I contact customer service again so he could authorize a full refund. I tried that the same day, but customer service was closed. I used the text support option, and after 15 minutes, the rep suddenly said they couldn't help anymore because I filed a BBB complaint. I was told that because I did that, I could only communicate through the BBB platform. Although, all communication has stopped on their end via email and the BBB platform. No one from the company has responded since their first (and false) reply, where they claimed they tried to contact me multiple times and I was unreachable. That is completely false and I have proof. I contacted customer support again the next day and spoke with Germaine B. and he stated the only way they could help was for me to get the merch card, they would cancel it and then send me a check. l shouldn't have to wait for them to get ready to mail me a check due to their negligence. The final straw? The mechanic who helped me told me someone from the store told him I was "the lady suing the store." So they can discuss my situation with other people, but not with me directly? That's extremely unprofessional and feels retaliatory. I will never spend another dime at Advance Auto Parts. This whole situation has been a nightmare, and I hope this review helps others know what they're getting into.

The rest of the employees were also very helpful and have excellent customer service when I was looking for which refrigerants to buy for my car. The store is also very clean and sanitized there's isn't employees just standing around doing nothing, so overall my experience was a 10/10 would definitely recommend this advanced auto over any auto zone in the area.

    just now New Bought a…read moregolf cart and it was too tall to fit in my garage (it was a known issue with the brand I found out after they tried to deliver it) I wasn't told anything about it and the store apparently has a tech that is about as useless as they come because they claimed there was nothing they could do. Tried to speak w the manager who was the most unreasonable person I have ever had the misfortune of ever dealing with so I had to pay to haul the golf cart to ANOTHER dealer not affiliated with golf carts of Houston and they were able to fix the cart to make it to where I could get it in my garage. Had they given me any idea the dang thing would be too tall we could have either bought one somewhere where the tech was able to adjust it or bought a different cart all together. They let it sit up there for two weeks before I started calling trying to find out what they were planning on doing with it. I had the cart hauled to CKD golf carts in league City and they fixed the cart and made the adjustments to get it to fit within a day. I am extremely dissatisfied with our whole experience with golf carts of Houston and if I could do it over again I would definitely buy it somewhere else.

    I went to Greenspoint, Discount Hitch and truck accessories, location and spent several hours to…read morespecial order a very expensive camper cover with the salesman who didn't know that much about the product line and had to keep calling and asking a previous owner of eight years of a company called awesome transformation. I knew what I was looking and I knew what I expected from the service and installation. I used to own a shop like this I would never go back to this shop. They're horrible. I requested and paid to have the wiring run properly up underneath the vehicle from the camper door to the battery. I requested to have a loom wrapped around the wire, and I also ordered a cat pack with gun rails in it. The salesman did not order the gun rails which cost me extra money to get it shipped. That is their fault because it would've been free with the camper and the wire underneath is the worst wiring project I've ever seen in my life wires hanging down and everywhere else. The solution from the shop was to bring it back after I already spent two hours sitting and I have an hour and a half drive to get there so I did it myself With my shop help which took two hours to pull the wire out and put the wires back in. But the good thing is Michael Galindo who is a manager the Katy store took care of all the warranty and anything in a proper manner and kept me from taking action against the Greenspoint store in its management. They're absolutely horrible at the Greenspoint store. The manager of the Katy store went far and beyond normal to correct the shotty work at the Greenspoint store both with parts and product with special shipped it overnight. Got my gun rack inserts and didn't charge me for.. My suggestion, if you have anything go to the Katy store and ask for the manager Michael Galindo there and he's been in business for a long time I've known him for years. It was my mistake, not going to his store to begin with. I WOULD NEVER DO BUSINESS NOR EVEN CROSS THE THRESHOLD OF THE GREEN POINT TRUCKS, ACCESSORY LOCATION.
