I just want to say I been going to Modern Nails since April 2024 since I moved to Tx from California & all the ladies are so sweet Theresa doesn my nails & she does such an amazing job. I just recently brought my mom on 12/05/24 when she came to visit me she absolutely loved her pedicure the place was so clean as always they had great music playing I will continue to bring people everytime.

I have been to so many Nail Salons and the moment I walked in this place i felt the good vibe. I took my 15 year old daughter for her first acrylic nails and she was very excited, they did an amazing job. Plus the owners, which are a nice couple, are the most friendly a sweetest people. Kept pressuring to get Dip application. Better than Gel. On discount. Tried it. Nails were SO thick. Asked for filing down. Theresa said , "This is how Dip nails look.". Needs a good cleaning and sanitizing!! read more

I love Modern nails they're so friendly & actually listen to the customer. Karla is such a sweet heart & makes your experience so enjoyable. Compared to other nails salons where they only talk in their language & they actually talk to you, tell jokes. This place is so close to my apartment and I'm glad I finally tried it out! My mom and I went for pedicures. The prices were reasonable - we each paid $22 for a treatment pedicure which include the paraffin treatment. Express pedicure was $20 and at most, a pedicure cost $30. The staff was very friendly and did a great job! Can't wait til i need another pedicure so I can visit again. read more

I wanted to give this place a try because of all the great reviews but my experience was far from that. My sister and I didn't even bother to stay after the encounter we had with one of the nail techs. She approached us to see what we wanted to get done but she was rude, unprofessional and not welcoming whatsoever. We ended up just walking out. Would not recommend this place. Before we left I heard her speaking to a customer with a monotone voice like she didn't want to be there. Who would want to spend 2 hours getting their pedicure done with someone like that? Not us for sure. read more

I am from Dallas ... So I needed a pedi, eyebrow wax, and manicure. They didn't pressure me for other services. The place was clean, and the ladies were very nice. It's not anything fancy, it would be classified as a "hood spot" here in Dallas. It's cheap, but they definitely do a good job. It's located in E. Houston. For anyone on a budget, or looking for a friendly place to go, I'd recommend. read more

The prices are cheap. They prefer you pay in cash but they do accept visa and MasterCard with a $10 or more charge. I suggest bringing your own nail polish from home, unless you're getting shellac because they don't have a large selection of colors. The workers are very nice and give good customer service. I mean come on if you don't wanna work ask for a day off, it's not my fault your having a bad day!! I get my nails done very often and I decided to try this place. I asked at the very beginning to not cut my nails short and now they are down to the skin. He did not cut cuticles and rather "acted" as if to do so. The white tip is translucent and splotchy. He left previous nail color on my nails so you can see it now, it looks tacky. They did not have their workers their and all I heard was complaining from the other lady about how she is all alone. I'm am very dissatisfied and would not come here again. This polish is coming off as soon as I get home. read more

Always busy never a dull day. If you have your cosmetology license and if you looking for work this is the salon to work that they will teach you how to do nails the owners are very nice and welcoming.
