Sadly, this place used to be my go to spot whenever I needed to get my nails done. However, after today's experience...I will NEVER return to this salon again. It boggles my mind the amount of unprofessionalism that is displayed in this "salon". The employees are always on their phones - I've had employees push me aside so that they can go and answer their phones and I've also had employees that carry on with their phone conversations while working on my nails. The employees' children are always present at the salon as well. Although this is completely unprofessional, I've always overlooked this aspect. I'm a working mom and I completely understand the cost of daycare and finding ways to cut cost. Today, however...I was appalled by several things! First, one of the employees brought their puppy into the salon. At first I thought it was cute seeing the puppy since it was absolutely adorable, but then to see the puppy roam around and pee in areas of the salon definitely put me off. Second, I witnessed two of the employees sleeping in the salon's massage chairs. I understand that there might be "slow periods" throughout the day...but to sleep in front of the clients that are present? Um, no. Seriously, where is the professionalism in this staff? Lastly, I've never noticed how overpriced this salon is until I moved and have been paying a lot less at a different salon that I've been frequenting. I paid $90 for a gel manicure/pedicure. I have never spent over $75 with any manicure/pedicure combo - even with gel and/or solar nails! The crazy thing is that they didn't charge me the prices that were listed on their sales board. They added additional costs to both services and those costs were nowhere on the sales board. Unfortunately, I will no longer support this salon nor use their services again. The lack of professionalism, the uncleanliness of the salon, the costly price of the services, and the poor customer service have definitely turned me away from ever returning. I don't write many reviews but this was by far the worst experience I've had in a nail salon . I had a gel manicure today by an older lady with short bob and glasses. She blew through trimming my cuticles within 2 minutes. When I asked her to take more off, she replied "I don't want to make you bleed". She proceeded to tell me to buy some cuticle oil and apply everyday myself to improve the dryness. (I am a surgical resident at OSU and wash/scrub my hands 10's of times daily so my hands/cuticles are extremely dried and cracked.) When time came for the polish, she tried to talk me into doing a clear polish instead of the Bubble Bath I requested since the polish is difficult to polish on evenly. I got the bubble bath, but had to ask to get the polish cleaned off my cuticles before curing under UV. In the end, my nails looked OK but left the salon feeling VERY frustrated. read more

What you'd expect from an in-mall nail salon- awesomely quick service with mediocre results. I went in with a friend and we got right in. We were pretty excited to be able to sit right next to each other and chat. Her nails turned out awesome and mine turned out horrible. Her manicurist was pleasant and did a fantastic french-manicure with Gelish, mine was not at all pleasant and did more filing of my skin than of my nail. I went in to treat myself to a birthday gel manicure and wish I hadn't....3 weeks later my finger is still torn to pieces! The lady got very upset with me when I asked her to not sand my nails down with her drill tool, and she started speaking very angrily in a different language to another tech ( he even turned around and looked at me), after she was done with my cuticles she shooed me away from her station to another tech....I was very uncomfortable the entire time! read more

I get a pedicure here every few weeks. They are very nice and do a great job. The salon is clean. I love the massage chairs while I get my pedicure. Everyone always comments on how long my polish lasts too. I find all the ladies that work there to be very nice. read more

I am posting in hopes that no one else will go through the physical pain I endured here. I went to just get acrylics removed, simple process right? Wrong. I was put with a kid who looked under 17. He claimed to be 19, yet couldn't provide proof of his ID or his nail tech license. I endured him drilling the acrylic off well below where it ended. My entire nail is very thin now, bed to tip. Hurts to even touch. At the times he was going to cut my nails down I had to stop him. If I didn't I would have had chunks of skin missing. Can you say blood, pain and lawsuit?! This was THE worst experience I've had at a mall salon, and yes I know the are cheap and it is rare to get a decent job. I had lucked out before this day. So best of luck to all who decide to try this. DO not let a young Asian man with glasses cut your fingers off! I'll be moving this complaint forward with the Ohio state board of cosmetology. And please people, remember to ask to see their license before you sit in the chair. The child who did mine "forgot" his at home. Oh and a removal takes maybe 15 minutes. I was there for over an hour due to his incompetency. And yes I was seated right when I walked in. I will be taking my chances at the well known professional salons from now on. And be able to converse with the nail tech, as opposed to having him or her on their phone or talking to a friend in a different language. Overall a rude, unsanitary, dangerous place to go. Possibly breaking child labor laws too. And they do let a puppy roam around and pee in the salon. Health hazard anyone? And yes their children come in too. The staff were nice and friendly. They took their time. However, it took almost two hours for a mani/pedi. After my nail was corrected several times I went home. The next day I couldn't stand looking at my nails, they were clumpy in some cuticle parts and missed layers in the sides-it was obviously done wrong-I even got comments about it at work. The lines were crooked. I called and they were happy to fix, arranging I'd come back in that night. I came in but was told to come in later when I was initially expected from the phone call. After a long time of taking off my gel again and my nails still not right before she was about to repolish (I"m not a perfectionist nor do I complain often) I told them nevermind I don't have time and left without any polish. I don't have hours each night until it looks right and I wasted money and time. I'll pay again to have them done somewhere else and won't be coming back here, it would have been nice to get my money back-they are in worse shape than when I went in. read more

I usually go to the place upstairs but they were closed moving into their new permanent place so I went to this one. First of all I had three different techs I the time I was there, they kept passing me to one another and at one point for the first time felt like they were talking about me. I even spoke up and said I had never felt like such an inconvenience in my life and he just looked and me and kept working. I couldn't wait to leave and finally did after an hour and a half.... Definitely will not be going back! I went in for an acrylic balance and a pedicure, spent $70, and came out with uneven nails, terrible polish that looks very sloppy, and my feet feel as if I'd never had a pedi. They used cold water to do my pedi and didnt bother making my feet soft. I am so dissatisfied with my nails and feet and I only wish I could go back in there to have them re-do but Im afraid to be treated poorly again or talked about in front of my face in a diff language.
