I've been coming here for almost 3 years and have always left happy...until this past Friday between 10-10:30 AM. There was only one lady working, an older woman with glasses. She was very kind, but unfortunately, this was the most painful threading session I've ever had. It felt like far too much hair was removed, and when she finished, she applied aloe without asking (something the other ladies usually do after checking if the customer wants it). When she handed me the mirror, I noticed my brows looked a little uneven, but since I was rushing to a doctor's appointment, I paid and left. Later, in better lighting, I was shocked. My brows were extremely thin...something I've never experienced here. I've always had naturally fuller brows, even though they've thinned slightly with age, and I take pride in keeping them that way. I honestly wanted to cry. I eventually called to share my concerns, and while no manager or owner was available, the girl who answered was very sweet and understanding. I explained what happened and suggested that the threaders be reminded to always confirm exactly what the customer wants...especially when someone asks for a simple clean-up. I know brows grow back, but this has been really upsetting, especially with an event I have next weekend. This is definitely a learning experience for me, and I just want to encourage others to be specific with their requests and, if possible, stick to a threader you trust for consistency.

The stylist I was reassigned to was not Master-level, and there appeared to be an unusually high turnover rate overall. Due to the inconsistency and decline in service, I made the decision to cancel my membership. Despite canceling, my membership was not properly terminated, and I was charged again. When I contacted the PV location regarding the billing error, they refused to refund the charge. This was extremely disappointing. Had the situation been handled professionally with a refund, I would have considered returning in the future or referring others. Instead, the lack of accountability and poor customer service -- particularly at the PV location -- has ensured that I will not return and will give a negative review everywhere I can. I was told I would NOT be getting a refund and could talk to nobody else about my experience at PV or Desert Ridge.

As I stated, I am not able to return for a replacement set and continue to insist on a refund and cancellation of my membership because your studio failed to uphold your end of the membership agreement.
