I had a disappointing experience at this Drybar location that left me feeling really discouraged…read more I came in for a wash and blowout and requested the "Southern Comfort" style with as much volume as possible -- big, bouncy curls. I also explained to my stylist that I'm currently recovering from major surgery and was only four days post-op, which is why I came in for the service since I'm unable to wash my hair myself right now. My stylist was very sweet, but the service itself felt rough during the wash and blow-dry. When the blowout was finished, I was honestly shocked at how underwhelming the result was. There was barely any curl, very little volume, and my hair was frizzy and poofy rather than smooth and polished. It looked nothing like the style I requested or what I've received at Drybar in the past. Because I was already feeling lightheaded and exhausted from surgery recovery, I didn't have the energy to address it in the salon and decided to just go home. However, I called the salon shortly after leaving to explain the situation. Unfortunately, the conversation with the manager, Bailey, made the experience even worse. She immediately came across as defensive and cold rather than empathetic. She told me she would call me back before the end of the day, but I never received a call. During the conversation she questioned why I hadn't said something while I was still there so another stylist could fix it, which felt dismissive given the circumstances I had already explained. I understand that things don't always go perfectly with services, but the way concerns are handled makes all the difference. The lack of empathy and follow-through left me feeling uncomfortable and disappointed enough that I will not be returning.

I showed a reference photo and confirmed ahead of time that I was booking the correct service. The ponytail was frizzy and not styled how I asked. The stylist mainly sprayed a lot of hairspray, brushed it back, and said I was done. When I asked for curls in the pony, I was told it was extra, which was frustrating since I had called beforehand to confirm the service. A few curls were added, but only part of the pony was curled and it wasn't set or sprayed. Overall, it did not look polished or photo-ready, and I left feeling really disappointed, especially since this was for such an important moment. I wish expectations and services had been communicated more clearly.

Plus, wanted something that's a closer drive to my home/work. My appointment on Tuesday was with Ashleigh, @locksandlore, and she was the absolute sweetest. Even though she's a curly specialist, I wanted someone who truly understands my hair as I make this big shift. I also saw Danielle, @fairiehairie, for the wash and style after the cut and she was lovely. Everyone there was so professional and friendly! Am looking forward to coming back as a regular client to Snapdragon, and plan to get some color and a Brazilian Blowout in the coming months.

The entire experience was awesome! Marina was professional but also very personable, and we immediately felt comfortable with her, as if we'd known her for years! The eye lash extensions turned out beautiful, my daughter loved them and so did I! We hit it off so well with Marina, that we ended up scheduling a hair and makeup appointment for my daughter's Senior prom. If you know me, you'd know that I would never trust such an important event to someone that we had absolutely no experience with, but that's how much we were impressed with Marina. Fast forward two weeks and we're back to see Marina for an eye lash fill, hair and makeup for Prom. To say that we were pleased with the final results in an understatement!! My daughter looked beautiful, basically like herself, but with just a bit more glamour and glitz. Marina did exactly what we asked for, and was more than willing to adjust, if we decided we wanted more or less of something. This was by far the least stressful dance, prom experience that I've ever had because Marina took care of everything! Since our first appointment, the women of my family have had the following services delivered by Marina: Full set eyelash extension (3), hair & makeup (2), eyelash fills (2). I have another daughter getting the full set done next week, and my 18 year old and myself will be getting fills! I can't go based on any work because he did nothing…read more I went in for a consultation, it was such a weird vibe. It was quiet (no music) and no customers. Three employees were sitting down chatting away while I waited for my appt. I went because i wanted to cut my hair into a long bob but my consultation specialist looked at my hair and said my hair was fried. There was nothing he could do, I was so confused. I said, I'm not here to dye my hair. I'm here for a haircut. He said, I know. You need keratin and once your hair gets healthy I could try. Out of curiosity I asked, if I get my hair back to "healthy " again. I asked who he would recommend and he said nobody here. I was shocked and to be honest, I was so over the consultation that I awkwardly laughed and promised him I'd be back. He could honestly care less. I wasn't too irritated because it smelled like hard boiled eggs or broccoli in there. Not to mention, The older woman at the front desk was hella grumpy as well.
