Three weeks before my wedding I reached out to Tina after being referred to her by a friend. I requested the Ombré brow after looking at all of the available options as well as a permanent winged liner. After researching some other locations in the area for price, skill, and quality, I ultimately deemed Tina would provide the best value. Plus she does not charge for the given touch-up appointment which you schedule 5-8 weeks from your first. She gives you everything you need to care for your brows and goes over aftercare instructions thoroughly. It's been 3.5 months since my touchup appt and the color has faded to and stayed in a nice natural arch! If anything I wish they did stay on a liiittle more prominently but that could have also been my lack of fastidiousness toward aftercare procedures. I think she now has a location in OC as well. So, I was looking around town, comparing photos and prices etc. But one day, my coworker came to work (she got her eyeliner tattooed during her lunch break! Lol) and that was it! Found Tina on yelp few days ago and I'm so happy I decided to get my brows refresh by her. I had my brows done about 5 years ago using semi permanent tattoo somewhere else. I had a great experience getting my eyelash extensions done by Sky. She was super nice and polite. It was my first time getting eyelash extensions done and she made me feel very comfortable and welcomed. When she asked if I had any sensitives and I told her I did that my eyes get watery. During the appointment my eyes decided to cooperate but towards the night my eyes started to get very water. I immediately contacted Sky to see if was normal and she took me in the very next day to see what was going on and to see if was developing allergic reaction. Thank goodness i wasn't developing an allergic reaction, but prior/ after seeing her she took me step by step on what I should I do. I'm very glad that she was able to fix them. I've hesitant about getting my brows done because I'm afraid of the end results - like what if it's not even, the shade is off, they don't look nice? Well Tina assured me that she'll do her best to meet my expectations and that I'll love my brows. She was right! She took her time and walked me through the steps of what she was doing. She was so professional and friendly! The time flew by real quick for me. She answered all my questions and made sure to explain everything she was doing. My only complaint is I wish she had a mirror above me so I could watch everything she was doing! But that's me being curious and that would just ruin the finishing touch a the end. I was so intrigued to wanna watch the process but obviously cant do that on myself haha. Tina really made sure I was happy with mapping before proceeding with the shading. The most painful part was after she ran the needle through my brows and my mind realize oh, that did kinda hurt and then at the end when the numbing cream wore off and I could feel the sensitivity in my brows. I have finally found "THE ONE AND ONLY PMU Artist" I have been searching for! It only took EIGHT YEARS and THREE PRIOR PMU Artists, but my search has officially ended. Tina has saved me from one of my mid-life crisis and totally boosted my moral. She fixed my botched brows & eyeliner and gave me EXACTLY the style and look I have been wanting all of these years. Also noting the regained self confidence for a tired middle-aged mom of three teens...My daughters immediately noticed and said that I look so much younger and more polished, and to keep definitely keep Tina in my contacts! I must warn that some PMU Artists will only stick to their style preference and techniques and talk you out of the look you truly want to achieve (like a dramatic winged eyeliner). I really believed that it was possible until I found Tina! The (PRIOR) PMU Artist attempted this and just could not execute that clean-sharp wing. The initial booking and consult was extremely fast and simple with no ridiculous booking fees and waivers to sign your life away. Her multiple locations definitely help with the scheduling as they are not too far from each other (She has both the east and west cities covered!). She is very practical with fair pricing that includes the first touch-up session and her business approach is humble with her years of experience. I've experienced that OTHERS sadly change as they become more sought after and their clientele expands. Tina is very welcoming, honest, extremely patient, precise and truly talented. Throughout the entire process I never felt rushed or afraid to ask for anything. She truly listens and works with you to give you the exact look you desire no matter how many little tweaks it takes! The pain is very minimal (more of a minor discomfort). The healing process was a complete surprise as it was the best I've experienced with minimal swelling & tenderness which went down significantly the next morning and was back to normal after 48 hours. Note: one of my sessions with a (PRIOR) PMU Artist had to stop prematurely with TWO follow-up sessions to finish & correct as their technique caused me to bleed heavily and become extremely swollen during the process! There was hardly any tightness or itching (Very very minimal for about a day or two towards the end of the week).
