Got my brows microbladed for the first time and am glad I chose Tina @ Modern Face Studo. After researching some other locations in the area for price, skill, and quality, I ultimately deemed Tina would provide the best value. Plus she does not charge for the given touch-up appointment which you schedule 5-8 weeks from your first. She gives you everything you need to care for your brows and goes over aftercare instructions thoroughly. It's been 3.5 months since my touchup appt and the color has faded to and stayed in a nice natural arch! If anything I wish they did stay on a liiittle more prominently but that could have also been my lack of fastidiousness toward aftercare procedures. I think she now has a location in OC as well. Got my brows ombre shaded recently by Tina and lemme tell you, she's amazing! So, I was looking around town, comparing photos and prices etc. But one day, my coworker came to work (she got her eyeliner tattooed during her lunch break! Lol) and that was it! The details on that liner were awesome. Subtle, yet noticeable- exactly what I wanted! I'm so happy I found this hidden gem right around my neighborhood. She has very very sturdy hands and is a perfectionist so she makes sure your eyebrows are taken care of as if they were hers. Three weeks before my wedding I reached out to Tina after being referred to her by a friend. I've hesitant about getting my brows done because I'm afraid of the end results - like what if it's not even, the shade is off, they don't look nice? Well Tina assured me that she'll do her best to meet my expectations and that I'll love my brows. She was right! She took her time and walked me through the steps of what she was doing. She was so professional and friendly! The time flew by real quick for me. She answered all my questions and made sure to explain everything she was doing. My only complaint is I wish she had a mirror above me so I could watch everything she was doing! But that's me being curious and that would just ruin the finishing touch a the end. I was so intrigued to wanna watch the process but obviously cant do that on myself haha. Tina really made sure I was happy with mapping before proceeding with the shading. She made sure it was a painless procedure by being as gentle as possible and ensuring the numbing cream kicks in. I would like to say I have a moderate pain tolerance and it was like a 3/10 for me. The most painful part was after she ran the needle through my brows and my mind realize oh, that did kinda hurt and then at the end when the numbing cream wore off and I could feel the sensitivity in my brows. Needless to say, I was trying to keep my face expressionless cause I could feel it in my brow haha End results, loved the brow! I got ombre done. Day one looked great, even though it was "dark". Found Tina on yelp few days ago and I'm so happy I decided to get my brows refresh by her. I had my brows done about 5 years ago using semi permanent tattoo somewhere else. Since the color faded, the outline of the shape just looks messy and it's time to get them redone. We went with ombré style to cover up my old tattoo. The whole process was truly a breeze with zero pain level!! I only felt a bit of pain for about 2 seconds and I could prob fall asleep if I didn't keep chatting with Tina. I had a great experience getting my eyelash extensions done by Sky. She was super nice and polite. It was my first time getting eyelash extensions done and she made me feel very comfortable and welcomed. When she asked if I had any sensitives and I told her I did that my eyes get watery. During the appointment my eyes decided to cooperate but towards the night my eyes started to get very water. I immediately contacted Sky to see if was normal and she took me in the very next day to see what was going on and to see if was developing allergic reaction. Thank goodness i wasn't developing an allergic reaction, but prior/ after seeing her she took me step by step on what I should I do. I'm very glad that she was able to fix them.
