I was considering get my eyebrows microbladed for several months. I decided to just go for it. I was recommended to Eunice by a friend who just got it done. It looked great so I decided to message her on Instagram. She was able to book me in for the following weekend. The day of my appointment I was so nervous. I had a week to research YouTubers' experiences and there were some negative reviews. I decided to ignore it and just do a leap of faith. Eunice was so attentive. She asked if I had a certain shape I had in mind. I told her I wanted straight brows. I had really arched eyebrows and lacked length. She applied numbing cream and I sat there watching Friends for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, she had me lay down on the reclined chair while she mapped my face. I gave her the okay and she went straight to work. The process took about 1 1/2 hours. Eunice had to ombre certain parts because I lacked hair in certain spots. Initial communication with Marie through texts was very smooth and easy. When I arrived on the day of the appointment, Marie greeted me with a huge smile and was very friendly. Marie made sure she understood what look I wanted (fuller but not overly dramatic) then started working. The whole thing took almost 2 hours. I was skeptical and nervous at first to make a semi-permanent decision on such a prominent area of my face, but Eunice did a great job and I'm so glad I trusted her with my brows. Update: I'm not sure if yelp is deleting my original review when I post this! So just in case, I'll repeat really quickly what I wrote in my first one - modern face studio is amazing value for your money, and joyce is great! She's only going to get more popular/expensive from here. I would definitely recommend her. And bring earphones for the procedure :) On to my update - this is definitely not against modern face studio. I was in love with my brows after the second session. If you can see in the pic, they looked perfect!! My complaint though is that once the hair strokes healed, they blurred a lot more than I expected. It's hard to see the individual strokes now. They're okay, but not as beautiful as immediately after the session. It looks like I roughly filled them in with powder, except now I've lost the gradient at the beginning of my brows. I just want to warn all yelpers that the strokes will not stay as precise! I wish MFS would have uploaded more fully healed photos. I have dry skin too, and followed the aftercare instructions! They're also slightly off in tone. I think my anemia interfered with the warm tones of the pigment by messing with the iron in the ink. Overall, I'm curious to see how they fade, but my strokes really blurred the second time around. I'm sadly honestly not as in love with my brows as I expected. I don't know why my body reacted this way, but I hope that this review helps other people! read more

I got my brows done at ModernFace Studios by Eunice and it changed my life. Some background on my eyebrow history; never really had much brows to work with. My brows have always been naturally very thin and sparse, making it extremely difficult to look full. I got my brows microbladed in February by the specialist, Eunice.
