Following is what I wrote in my complaint to the Better Business Bureau. When I told him I'd be doing this, he told me that he didn't care. Let's see what happens. :) Complaint Description: Failed to clearly cite return policy. Upon attempt to return it was blamed on Covid-19. That reason wasn't written anywhere so he changed his reason After trying to return an unopened product still in its original packaging, I was explained by the supervisor/owner that they don't accept any returns due to the current pandemic. I asked him how they were able to sell during a pandemic using that same logic as these supplies are shipped to them through supply chains and that he and his employees don't live in this building to which he had no response. I explained and showed him that nothing was opened whatsoever and continued to give the same reason, refusing to hear anything else. Once I pointed out that the receipt and signage said absolutely nothing about COVID-19 (and this being a medical company as well) he then changed his mind and said that the receipt states that they do not accept anything that is designed to touch the skin. I said to him that they are a medical company and everything they sell is designed to touch people. He said they accept returns on wheelchairs... I replied that people sit in it. Then I said that the pandemic excuse was a flat out lie and even if there was no pandemic then he still would not accept any returns. He said YES. I let him know that he's running a scam and that his signs should simply say 'no returns' instead of this verbal soup that's pasted at the bottom of the receipt that is designed to be confusing/misleading. Before leaving I let him know that he is marking up a $35 nebulizer by $90 according to online. He said that he is providing a service... then he mumbled something about it being my fault for not searching online first. Your Desired Resolution: I would like a full refund and to be able to return their brand new unopened product back and for them to be absolutely transparent about their return policy and to stop lying to customers for reasons why they won't accept a return.

I entered my ChairLift problem during the mid evening timeframe; and, was surprised when a "Live Person" responded to my request for services. A appointment to service my lift chair was made for the next day. Needless to say, I was surprised with the quick response. "Rudy" arrived "on time" and analyzed the problem and solved the problem within 90 minutes where my complete system was analyzed and repaired. Rudy explained every step of the repair. My 92 year old uncle recently met with Jacob who came to his senior living home to fix his mobility scooter. Jacob couldn't fix it on site so he loaded it onto his truck to take back to his shop. What I understood to be "several days later," my uncle called to tell me what happened, saying that he thinks he was scammed and the scooter was stolen and he was getting ready to call the police. He said he had called many times and left several messages but no one responded. I'll be honest, he made a convincing case and I was starting to think he was a victim. What I didn't realize was that Jacob picked the scooter up on Friday morning and this was Monday (they are closed on weekends). I was able to get ahold of Jacob and let him know that if the police show up don't be alarmed. He was understanding and explained that he has a family and tries not to work on the weekends so didn't know my uncle had been calling. He also sent me multiple photos of the scooter that had been dismantled and in the process of repair. He also said that he located the problem, would compete the repair that day and return it the next. The price was more than fair and the scooter works perfectly now. I highly recommend Valley Mobility if you like working with honest, dedicated, smart and kind people (who are also patient with seniors).

Quite a gambit. Anyway, Carlos has the best personality. He is gracious and warm. He was prompt in meeting for the drop-off AND for returning to meet for the scooter pick-up. I called him to PLEASE pick up the scooters about 1 hour early, as we were both tired from our adventure. Carlos got to us early and with a smile. The two scooters we rented were excellent for "zipping" around the large property. The property is 207 acres, so trying to do that tour on foot was impossible for us two seniors. Really nice equipment that held it's charge. It was easy to handle indoors (in the galleries) and outdoors (commuting to and through the many gardens.)
