After talking to the manufacturing company we bought our stair lift from, they said we need to buy a new lift, a used one or buy a new aluminum rail at least. All they were trying to do was to sell me another one. WHY??? Why would I buy another one if I have one already?!? I gave up on finding another option til my hub found Lift Tech Solutions on yelp! Excellent service! Our 20+ year old Bruno stairlift had a complete electrical failure (the charger unit coil burned out and took the entire system with it). Found LiftTech on Yelp the next day, read the stellar reviews, and when I called, Rudy answered right away and, upon hearing what happened, he scheduled a repair call the next day. As our stairlift ended up being beyond repair ( the cost of acquiring parts for such an old stairlift was about half of a new one) we decided to replace it. Rudy quoted both refurbished and new and we decided to go with new. He was able to schedule an install two days later and he and his co-worker, Clay, arrived on time and worked diligently to remove the old stairlift and install the new one. Both were professional, courteous and very knowledgeable about the equipment and did a much better install and instruction on using the chairlift than our original installer from years before. Cannot overstate the importance of being responsive in this business as going without a chairlift for any length of time is a terrible burden on the user. If I could give 10 stars I would in a heartbeat and without hesitation. I called and explained my terminal mother's situation and jokingly asked if they could install a chair "last month". Rudy responded immediately knowing the circumstances (within an hour of my call) to my mother's address (as my daughters and I had just left and don't live close. I'm over 2600 miles away). Rudy went to check out the site, take measurements and contacted me with the info within the same day. Their installer, Ron, was there the next morning and according to my mother was installing the chair with determination to get the job done. My mother and I are both so grateful. Rudy actually returned to install a part he recommended that was not in stock when the chair itself was installed but useable.
