Service, quality and value In November 2024, we purchased a investment property in the city of Hesperia, California intended to be used as a (short term rental). we have established several short term rentals, different counties of Southern California, however, we have found it very difficult finding reputable contractors to work with. This has been a challenging task as we have encountered contractors of all sorts, making promises only to fall short of expectations. After receiving several estimates, we decided to use Modern Decor Interior. From our initial consultation, Walter was very knowledgeable, professional and informative about the renovation that needed to take place. We decided to add a separate dwelling unit (ADU) Walter handled everything from architect to engineering dealt with city inspectors you name it or experience with stress-free and our final outcome was amazing. Walter and his team were very communicative as well as efficient and professional. Our job was completed before schedule and it's already generating revenue for us. I couldn't be happier to have found such a professional trustworthy company. Walter is amazing and patient a very knowledgeable contractor. I've already recommended Modern decor Interiors llc to a couple of colleagues and plan on using them all my future projects. These guys did not just meet my expectations. They exceeded them in every way possible! I would read them at 10 if I could to explain the whole process will take 3 to 4 pages ! We had great customer service great value overall her price was not the lowest as other estimates however it was realistic and on budget project was completed on schedule and be on our expectations. Walter is a class act and a rare find on Yelp. After poor experiences with licensed contractors who claimed to do great work only to be let down, Walter came through like a true professional. My vinyl plank flooring project was completed in a day. Skin coat to base boards and door thresholds, everything was given the highest attention to detail. Diego, the installer/artisan, takes his work seriously and the finished product reflects his skills. Modern Decor Interiors, LLC did a beautiful job and I couldn't be more pleased. I had to wade through a lot of BS artists on Yelp unfortunately, save time and money and do yourself a favor by skipping the others and hire Modern Décor with confidence. If you have work done with them and need more work done they won't come back or give you the type of flooring it is so you can buy it yourself. Wanted to get 2 additional rooms done for the house but they would never get back to me. Wanted to purchase the same flooring but they wouldn't tell me the brand. Would not recommend, now I'm having to get the whole house redone after only 2 years. read more

We got new floors and baseboards installed by MDI and are very happy! After inquiring with them, they were quick to come by our home to give us a quote and show us samples. Walter was very responsive, knowledgeable, and patient throughout the process. We never felt pressured or rushed when selecting our flooring and choosing to move forward. The new flooring was installed in only one day and they made sure to take all the old materials and trash with them when finished. Our home looks so much brighter and inviting. Several months ago, we hired this loser to do a job in our home. Unfortunately, the work was substandard, and despite messaging him repeatedly from February to June, he never returned to fix his mistakes. Frustrated by his lack of response, we decided to take legal action against him. During the process of gathering information for our case, we discovered he is a fraud. He has multiple liens against him and his former company, So Cal Carpet and Tile. It appears he frequently changes his company name and uses other companies' contractor license numbers. He doesn't even have a legitimate address. This man is a total fraud.We ultimately won the case against him in court, despite his blatant lies to the judge claiming we never paid him. Well, justice was served, and he lost. Yet, he still hasn't paid us. What a loser! I DO NOT RECOMMEND this company at all. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would where do I even begin ? Walter (if that's his real name) was very responsive at first sent his crew out Jan 28th got job done Jan 29th hit him up end of Feb to let him know floor was having having a lot of problems , since the end of February I've been waiting for him to either come fix the floor that he Mickey moused or to give me a full refund which he hasn't don't either, turns out he doesn't have an actual license he's been using one of his buddy's license number ( Matt August ) another scum bag . Walter was supposed to show up about 12 times already which he never did . His floor does not have warranty he does not have a legit business license nor does he even have an actual real address for his business I beg everyone please pay attention to the services he gave you cause trust me it will fail and he will not show up to repair it he is full of excuses . Honestly I'd probably take 2 or 3 pages to write a thorough, remarkable, amazing review for Walter and his crew and Modern Decor Interior but there's no words for the picture perfect work and finish this gentlemen can accomplish. I recently came back from a very long deployment and my previous tenants left my house in a disaster. Now I was going to renovate my house when I came back but because my tenants made a disaster of my property - holes in the walls, fans broken, walls dirty, etc - I had to do more than I was originally gonna renovate. So I got the materials, got everything ready, and all I needed was a good, reliable, contractor that can do the job and create the vision I have in my head. After 2 weeks of not being able to find someone, I came to yelp, and specifically looked for a contractor who services the mountains because finding a great contractor is hard but finding a great contractor that actually services the mountains is even harder. Thus came Modern Interior Decor, they responded to my inquiry, Walter came down, listened to what I was going to do and what I wanted done but also suggested things that would definitely work with what I was doing. This was a semi-big project that needed to be done ASAP. I knew this project would likely take a month because of what I was renovating, but I knew it would be worth it. During the remodel he suggested further additions to what I was doing in order to help elevate my vision and it was incredible. He understood what I was doing and wanted to ensure that I was set up for success so his suggestions in adding specific things was greatly appreciated. His team did a complete bathroom remodel, replaced a old vanity and turned it into a 2 sink vanity, hooked up my new hunter ceiling fans, installed my custom 70in x 45in LED mirror, installed 6 can lights, customized the granite countertops, AND did a interior paint job to finish it off ensuring everything blends perfectly! This gentleman has been nothing but the best in work, craftsmanship, attention to detail, and quality! I would absolutely hire him and his team again which I will be doing next year! If you are in need of a interior remodel: bathroom, bedroom, kitchen, lights, tile, granite, etc I would absolutely recommend Walter and this company!
