We had a shower that had a bench in it that was making it challenging to get in and out of for my…read more80 year old mother. My original request wast to see if we can cut the bench in half there by making more room to get in and out. They arrived at the time they said they would, they were literally here at the exact minute that was greed on. I was impressed with the timeliness. They came in and checked out the area. They suggested that we should maybe just take the whole bench out and after a little thought we agreed. Now the plan was to take out the bench and patch up the empty area with tile. They start taking the bench out and there were problems created from the previous contractor. Turns out our bench was never put in properly, like water proofing it. So there was mold found. We deal with that issue then we discover the dam in the shower is supposed to be made out of 2 x 6 and our former person only did it with 2 x 2's So now we need a new dam built. Another thing thing that happened was they accidentally killed a square section of grass. They put out a large sheet of rubber to use for the base of the shower on the grass in 100 degree heat. I took it off the grass hours later when I noticed it. The grass turned brown. Good new is the grass is turning green again and its all starting to look good The shower gets done and its time to put the doors back in. We have very large glass doors, like over 6 feet tall. Somehow one of them shattered. What a mess of glass we had. They took full responsibility for the broken door and got it replaced in a few days. Despite all the things that came up during the project they did a really good job for us. They even gave us some credit for the grass problem and the door breakage. They were conscientious, timely, and communicated appropriately about what was going on. I would highly recommend them.

Antonio is very professional, honest, helpful, and has been installing granite since he was a young child learning his craft from his father. His prices are reasonable and well worth it. I choose the modern look of the River White Granite with squared thick edges and a stainless steel sink to go with my white cabinets. Once I have time to install my subway tile backsplash I will add some pictures. As a few tips: 1. If you choose a lighter color, ask for a few coats of the sealant. My stone was very porous and stained easily. Either way, buy some sealant so you can reseal once a year. 2. Be sure you select your exact stone as each one is very unique and can vary greatly even though it comes from the same quarry. 3. Plan for your backsplash as demolition can be rough on the walls. 4. Be sure to budget for the sink and new modern faucet to complete your look. 5. The granite installation may not include faucet installation or sealing of your sink. I didn't have my faucet purchased when he installed so I am uncertain. Ask questions so you can plan for a handyman to finish any other installation work.

I contacted Francisco for cleaning, painting and popcorn removal; which came out beautiful. What luck finding him, as he did the entire house/project with minimal supervision, he handled it all took a lot of stress off me. The House came out beautiful. Besides Electrical, his plumbing skills are great and he installed a new double-sink vanity in the master bath; it was previously 1 sink, so the plumbing needed changing. He also did the Closet Doors, the Faux Wood Blinds and changed all the outlets and more.  Francisco provided a couple soft suggestions and he was absolutely right!.  He genuinely saw the modern, updated, though renter and budget friendly theme I was going for and it seems he was genuinely helping me get my theme right, in a budget friendly manner, not simply expand his workload.  After the tub was refinished, new double vanity, new lighting, and large mirrors, he said "do you really want to put these shower doors back on (from the 80s) and he was right, the new shower doors which he gave me a great price to install, made the entire bath look new, modernized and updated.  He also mentioned the inexpensive Panel closet sliding doors, which really was needed and they did update the bedrooms a bit at a good price and look very nice.  His work was beautiful,he did clean up, he knows what he is doing, and I will definitely hire him again.  Actually, I did hire him again (I had to replace a water heater).  One thing to consider, if you are in a timeline, get an exact completion date. The project took about 3 weeks longer, than I anticipated, but it was worth it as the price and Francisco himself being great to work with and handling it with minimal supervision. I asked him to match a couple tile samples to our granite and my wife would select what she wanted. Again, I was out of town on a business trip. Israel and his son gave me a bid and wanted half up front for materials. Against my better judgement, I did so. He showed up the same day and removed the granite backsplash. I was impressed he acted so quickly. However, the following day he showed up with tile he selected and began installation And said the materials were $400 more than what he bid. My wife was not happy with the color but he claimed it would look better once complete. He returned the third day to grout the tile. When it was done, my wife cried. The color is an earth tone but does not match a single color in the granite. Fast forward a couple months later and my wife had to Zelle someone some money. Unfortunately, she sent it to Israel in error. Once she realized what she had done, she sent him a text to which he did not respond. I followed up with two more text messages before he replied and he said there was a problem with his bank account. He said he would drop off the cash since we live in the same city. He never showed up and never called or text. I figured I'd just leave a long overdue review In return. In summary, I would not use him again. He should remove "Honestly" from his business name.
