I've had my application "in processing" for 6+ Months only to find out from a city arborist regarding a tree removal request that my home is not zoned to increase # of units. For the last 6 months they lied to me saying that everything was going well, and that I'm almost to the finish line, then asked for another $1,000 last week for another level of necessary processing with the city. Now they are saying that they told my contractor that it wouldn't pass zoning reform, but were told to submit it anyways, which I believe is a false statement since they have been telling me everything is okay for the past half year, and a terrible business practice by Construction Concepts to accept my money for this project. At this time I haven't received any documentation to back up that claim. I asked that they remedy the situation with a full refund, after which I was put on hold for 15 minutes and then transferred to an extension voicemail and hung up on. Now they won't return my calls or emails.

It has a style of its own. He understood what I wanted and rather than fight me, he found a way for it to work.

All changed when friend of mine told me about National Renovation. She had both of her bathrooms remodeled by National Renovation and she was very happy with outcomes and how the project was done. I called Jaser (the owner) and he stopped by very next day to give me the quote. What I liked from the very start is that Jaser showed up on time and while talking with me about the project, he was offering ideas of what could be done to make the shower look better and make it more functional. His ideas were exactly what I had in mind - so I was happy we are on the same page. Very next day I had a quote with details of what will be done and how much it will cost. The owner gave me general idea of when he could start the work and I accepted. Hiring part went smooth and easy as expected. Now, since hiring went smooth, I was afraid that the rest of the project will be a little bit more painful experience... And I was wrong! We started our remodel on Monday. Jaser and his crew were at my place every day - till the project was finalized. No delays. Everything done beautifully, as scheduled and on the budget we agreed on. His workers came over and did a good job in repairing and replacing a lot of items in our kitchen cabinets that needed to be repaired due to mitigation. Since when has a fair evaluation ever been insulting? 98% is excellent so if you want to risk 2% to be questionable aesthetically, structurally and "is this even legal" they'll probably be ok In my case that 2% is a big deal. They are extremely high priced. So with the price tag comes the expectation of awesome high end results. Not my experience.
