I had my windows tinted and encountered an issue with the tint a few days later. I drove to the shop and explained my problem to the employee who was working at the time. He then called the owner of the shop and explained the issue. While on the phone the employee asked the owner to speak to me at which time he refused. The shop employee was instructed to write down my name so he (owner) could call me back with a resolution. Here we are a few weeks later and as expected i never received a call. I decided to tint my windows here due to the yelp reviews. Im disappointed with the lack of response, particularly from the shop owner. I would not recommend this business. read more

Having experienced the additional protection a clear bra can offer, it wasn't really a decision on *if* I was going to have one installed, but who I was going to let do it. The clear bra installation on my last car was done by an 'average' installer, who used a kit. When I decided to upgrade my ride to a premium brand I also needed a premium installer. They guys at AVO were phenomenal. Not only are they knowledgeable about the products that they use, they demonstrated that they have this process down to an art form. These guys are good at what they do. I've had several vehicles where I've installed clear bra and after seeing varying degrees of quality from other installers I really appreciate the consistent work AVO does. I've had them do two very different vehicles in less than a year. They both turned out virtually perfect. Pricing is fair and they reward repeat business. I suggest leaving a voicemail or messaging through Yelp. Don't get uptight if they don't immediately respond. They're as quick as they can be and generally if you're reasonable, communication is good. They'll get you in quickly and deliver at or before they promise. Actually 4 1/2 stars. Just had the standard package (front bumper, 24" hood, fenders, door edge rear deck) clear bra installed on my 2010 Accord Coupe. I'm located West San Jose and AVO is located in Walnut Creek. Steve had his installers travel to Campbell where they have a rented bay at Rennwerks, on a Saturday. The job took around 4 hours and looks great. I'm dinging them half a star due to not taking credit cards (I like those miles), but the work was very well done and, ask anyone, I'm very picky. Got my clear bra done here today and it was an overall great experience. Steve was super nice and very responsive on the phone when I called with questions and then to make my appointment. I dropped the car off this morning and it was ready in about 4-5 hours. The clear bra looks great - you can barely notice it. They did an excellent job cutting and applying it and were extremely knowledgeable about the process, maintenance, etc. I felt very confident not only that they knew what they were doing but also that they'd stand behind their work. I had to come back here because I hit a bird which scratched the paint protection film. Steve was accommodating and was able to fit me in to the schedule to fix it ASAP. That section of the clear bra had to be removed and reinstalled. BTW, if you have clear bra you better hope a bird doesn't land on your car, or a cat. Both have really sharp claws which will destroy the film! read more

Purchased a Groupon vehicle wrap and when attempted to use, after numerous phone messages and several emails, Steve finally replied that they had not honored any Groupons for the past year. He asked that I forward a copy of the Groupon which I did, and then I followed up twice, but never even received a reply from Steve and complying with his request. I knew that I would be purchased additional service from AVC beyond the Groupon special, as is the case with most of these "discounts", but certainly will take my business to a company with better Customer service and follow through. This is my first experience having protection film on put on my car and AVO made it a very positive experience! It started with Steve patiently answering all my questions and helping decide the best way to protect my vehicle's candy apple red paint. His team is equally patient, meticulous and skilled. They did a beautiful custom cut job and it was hard to tell that the protective coat was even there because they left no lines/edges showing. I drove out thrilled with their work and very happy with their professionalism. Two days later I returned from a visit to the mountains and noticed what looked like a chip all the way to the metal. I called Steve and he said to bring it in and he'd replace the damaged section for free as a courtesy since the install was so recent. They made room for me right away and as they removed the protective coat the paint underneath surprisingly was completely unscathed. I'm so thankful for Steve and his team and for a coating that keeps me from having to try to touch up my beautiful, but hard to match, paint. Steve and his guys put a clear bra on an Infiniti we owned 5 years ago and it held up great up until we recently sold it. So when I got my first rock chip on my new 2018 RAM truck, I decided to have Steve put a clear bra on the front bumper and spoiler. I texted Steve a picture of my truck and he gave me an estimate, even gave me a repeat customer discount. Steve made a Saturday appt saying he wouldnt be there but one of his guys would be doing my truck. Took it in Saturday and he confirmed the work, and explained where seams would have to be. Got a call about 3-1/2 hours later saying truck was ready. WOW. I couldnt even see the seams and the clear bra was flawless. He explained the 10-yr warranty, and what to do if any issues came up. They were professional, shop is extremely clean, and they explain everything in detail. My new truck is now protected against rock chips and I cant be more pleased with the way the clear bra turned out. There's a reason they call it clear bra, it protects but it looks invisible...They even did the headlights so I wont get chips on them. Steve didn't charge any extra for using a credit card but he did give me a cash discount when I offered to pay cash. I'll soon be taking our new Infiniti to him for a clear bra. The 8 mil film feels really strong and, since they do not use pre-cut kits, the coverage is maximized. They even tucked in the edges around compound curves. Overall a great experience. Installing paint protection film (clear bra) is a craft and these guys know what they are doing. We just had my wife's new car done and it looks perfect. Seams where the plastic transitions to paint are nearly invisible. They took the time to cut around the EV sticker on the front bumper in case we want to remove it later. They are friendly, they are honest and their pricing is fair. They did my car 6 years ago and the clear bra still looks great - no bubbles or fading. I've had plastic wraps installed by other companies in the past and the quality wasn't nearly as good. Installation matters and we are very happy with AVO. read more

I am an extremely detail oriented car lover, borderline anal. I have had two vehicles done here and each time, I don't think the job can get better - but it does! How can you improve on perfect? Steve and his team find ways of actually doing this job better - better than they did before and, quite frankly, better than any other shop I've ever used!!! They are so detail oriented, they actually wrapped the corners of the hood so it doesn't lift! They used a heat gun to gently heat the wrap so that it won't lift later. It took them 3 hours to do the front - attending to EVERY detail, even the pieces UNDER the bumper, out of site. They even double coated certain areas of the front bumper to ensure it was extra protected. This is a place I would recommend to ANYONE for ANY vehicle, they are careful and worthy of the price - and they are NOT as expensive as they sound. In addition, they did the window tint - front and rear. They did the EXACT same detail oriented job on the tint. There is no place I will ever go - ever again. read more

Could not be any happier with the experience. Steve, the owner, is such a nice guy and so easy to talk to I would end up talking to him for over 20 minutes every time I called him (the first for pricing and the next to schedule an appointment). Pricing was competitive and the job, well... it is absolutely immaculate. I can't believe these guys freehand these cuts. THEY ARE PERFECT!!! I mean, seriously, these guys should be surgeons with such precision. They also didn't skimp on the clear bra material. The coverage is very generous. I paid for a basic, entry-level package on my Mazda CX-5 and got half my hood done (which is plenty in my mind), my headlights, front bumper, side mirrors, door cups, and door edges. The customer service was great too. Like I said, Steve, the owner, is great. On the day of my appointment, something came up and I had to get my niece from day care because she fell ill so I was 30 minutes late to my appointment. Steve, Ay, and Seng were extremely understanding, accommodating, and friendly. The job took a few hours, but they had a small office with a desk and wi-fi so I could get some work done that I brought with me. I was so happy with the job and the overall experience that I tipped them over $100 dollars. The reason being, you just don't get service like this anymore, so when you do, it's only right to recognize and reward it. Called Steve on a Tuesday who was very accommodating of my schedule and got me in on a Thursday. He explained to me that they were not using the pre-cut packages and would make a custom fit to my vehicle using a higher grade product. Sure enough, when I got my vehicle back that day, the job was flawless. I had to look very hard to see the edges of the product. I was very pleased, not to mention his professionalism in quoting the price and the layout of his shop. He was also kind enough to give me a ride to the BART station! If you are putting this on your vehicle then you probably are not driving a car with vinyl seats and a tape deck. Expect to pay a bit more, but know that you always get what you pay for. read more

I have now dealt with Steve & the AVO crew three times in the last two years, & I have found them to be top notch, which is saying a GREAT deal as I am very OCD when it comes to my cars. They custom cut their installs, and don't do CAD template cuts from a computer. Because of this custom work, they are able to do complete wraps, including the edges that would normally be left exposed from pre-cut template kits, and I have not had to deal with any peeling or discoloration. The work has always been done in a timely fashion, they are very professional, and Steve takes his time to explain the product options in detail to ensure I make the most informed decision possible.
