Finally after a full rotation of the store and some extra time at the saucy adult back area, a young miss came over to ask if she could help. With a sigh of relief I relayed sizes and wishes and only moments later was given three bra choices in the color I'd requested. Choice A was fantastic in the front but lacked side boob control and had too narrow a back band. The sales person was wonderful, polite and courteous and communicated discreetly at all times. She upon allowed entry directed me to turn to the mirror and made helpful interactive comments on the garment. She stepped out. Choice B wasn't as lacy as I preferred so I went directly to choice C. Normally there would be more choices however it WAS Christmas Eve so of course it was what they last had in stock. Fantastically choice C was the winner. Matched with underwear and a similarly colored garter belt. Yes. Wonderful. Sold. And don't forget to pickup at least one if not two pairs of sexy pinstriped back lined stockings. Go here. I left with a much-needed confidence boost and two bras that I was actually excited to wear. As advised, I wore the new bras at home for a few hours each to ensure everything was all good. One of them ended up being too tight, so I went back to exchange it. Back to the fitting room! Again, Erika was there to help me out -- in a genuine, unhurried manner. From all the staff, you really feel taken care of. I cannot stress enough how important and valuable that is. This is the kind of bra store I wish I knew existed in my early teen years. Steer clear! Went in to try to find a new bra as my cup size had changed. Got what seemed like…read morelots of good "bra fit" advice throughout from the woman assisting me. I tried on a number of bras, but couldn't seem to find any in my size that fit well. The sales person then suggested we try one with a bigger cup but smaller band size. I told her I tend to be a consistent 32 - with 30s always too small and 34s always too big - but was willing to try it. When I tried it on it felt fairly snug but wasn't suffocating me and, when I had her check the size, she seemed to think it was a good fit so...I went with it. When I got home, however, I went to try it on and noticed in the mirror that the band was visibly WAY too small - it didn't just fit snug, it was actually cutting into my skin and causing it to fold in places to make up for the lack of space. I took it back two days later and was told they don't do refunds (only exchanges) - something that wasn't mentioned at time of purchase. I asked if they could make an exception given that I was given ill advice on the fit of the bra (specifically the band) and, as I learned from the first go-round, there were no other bras in the store that fit me. This was the beginning of a 20 minute back and forth with the manager and the sales person about (1) whether the band was actually too small - the manager saying she trusts the "fitting" her staff did, and (2) if it was, whose fault it was (their thought: mine) that I got a bra with a band that was too small. I even needed to try on the bra to show them how badly it fit (!) only to have them continue to argue with me about it as I stood there half naked in front of them in the change room. In the end they refunded the money but by that point I had been completely humiliated/mortified by the whole process. I will never be returning to this awful store - they don't deserve customers with atrocious service like this. Highly, highly recommend instead either Scarlet or Diane's where they have beautiful bras, and have staff who are not only skilled at fitting you but are customer-focused and willing to be upfront about it when the fit isn't right (even if it means no sale).

She bases her designs after original 18th, 19th, and 20th century corsets, as well as creating originals. The store also sells garters, petticoats, corset covers, shoes, and other accessories. Wear a loose, light shirt when you visit, so the friendly and helpful staff can help you try something on and lace up. They can take your measurements and make a custom corset (starting at about $500) or you can do what I did and buy an off the rack model for about $225. Even though it wasn't custom, it does its job well and looks pretty too. I happen to be wearing it in my profile picture (underneath the clothes of course). Everyone should try it at least once. It's like a party in your waist, and all your sexy is invited. And there's no better place to do it in Vancouver.
