We absolutely love Mode. It is close by and delicious! It is such a cute friendly location. There's a nice outdoor area with two giant beautiful trees that provide great shade. The service is quick and the food is generally good. My recommendation for food are the chips and onion dip and the Blue bird pizza. My goodness YUM. The pizza is like a chicken cordon blue style with the most amazing flavors- you don't even need a sauce to dip it in, and I'm a sauce girl. Very impressive! I also highly recommend the chips and onion dip. Wow it is GOOD! They have lots of other options for food too. Sometimes we get the fried artichoke, but it's been a little thick with the breading lately. If you can ask for lightly battered, I would do that. Also, bring back the fried asparagus! Yum! My two favorite beers are the blueberry and bushwhacker. They do serve wine and a few ciders and have sodas and water. Yum yum yum. Come here for good food, delicious beer and a relaxing atmosphere.

Veggie and pet friendly place! What a great little spot to grab a drink, vegan eats and bring your pet to hang outside. The vegan pesto pasta was delicious! A great meetup spot for a group who loves hanging outside with their friends and pets!

I went for the first time and it was a pretty nice place! Very nice customer service and clean place! They can make a vegan option of almost everything on the menu. Look for items with the They also have gluten free if you require that! I tried the Fettuccine Alfredo and they have some Polenta Fries that I really liked! There is an outside area in the back that is quite spacious and has a nice vibe. One of the most interesting things was there was some type of flash bingo game going on which involved playing samples of popular one hit wonders, which I enjoyed guessing. I definitely plan to go back!

Mode Brewing is a total vibe! This family owned business gives true meaning about the family that cooks together... You want to try Mode. You need to try Mode. This has become my fun hangout spot with friends, family, and it's a fun date night spot. What was a food truck, it's now all grown up into a cool restaurant. The interior has the cool side of the food truck as part of the interior. On one side, the brother (Jeff) is brewing up some tasty craft beer ! He knows his brew! The sister and BIL, (Randy & Tracy) along with "mom", are cooking up some delicious food. You'll want to order it all. Just do it! Everything is seriously tasty! Short rib ragu. This is a sin that it tastes so good. Pasta. Short ribs. Sauce. Mix that all together, and you won't want to leave. The Italian stallion. It tastes as good as it sounds. It's meaty. It's cheesy. It is perfection. Because dessert is a must... you will want Nana's balls. Mom knows dessert, and these fried ice cream balls will make you wonder why your mom didn't create these. Order 4. One isn't enough. Even if you're full. Craft beer. Good good. Good desserts. This is the place to try!

I love delicious beer and vegan food, so put those two things together under the same roof and this is definitely a brewery I can get behind. As someone who doesn't worship at the altar of the IPA, it was so refreshing to see a variety of beers that included maltier styles as well. Of the dozen taps available when I visited, I tried the Globetrotter (Oktoberfest) and Pioneer (American brown ale) and enjoyed them both. The food at Mode is casual American-Italian. Small personal pizzas, paninis, and pasta dishes. I first learned of Mode during last year's Sacramento Vegan Chef Challenge, so was happy to see that they still had many vegan options on the menu. The vegan polenta fries were perfectly crispy, well-seasoned, and came with ample dipping sauces - I would definitely get those again to share. The vegan Great White pizzetta was fantastic! I'm picky about a sourdough crust and this one was spot on, as were the toppings. I highly recommend trying it. You might drive right past this spot and miss it, but don't be fooled by the little parking lot out front (there's a huge area behind the building). Inside is small, but the dog-friendly patio out back is where it's at. Several shaded tables make this an ideal spot for groups too. There's even a water feature - a large koi pond with water flowing through repurposed keg taps. Clever. I also liked how you could run a tab that was connected to both ordering food from the kitchen and ordering beer from the brewery, which are on opposite sides of the building. It's a smart set up and keeps the wait time to a minimum. I'll definitely be back for more of their beer (hellooooo Pumpkin Ale) and vegan food options. Check them out!

I was glad to see that they had other styles represented besides IPA: amber, brown ale, Oktoberfest. I enjoyed the latter two! The food was pretty decent! They had a number of tasty selections on the menu. Things are made fresh to order and are served up piping hot. The Vampire Slayer (garlicked) cheese pizza, in particular, is novelty cut in tiny squares so sharing around as appetizer bites is easy. The front of the brew pub is small, but once inside, you can see the spacious patio area out back. There are several/many wood picnic tables spaced apart with a nice water fountain feature central to the space. It's a good place for groups to meet up. This was my first visit, but definitely not my last. The combination of good beers AND good eats make returning here a no-brainer. Note: they close at 7pm on Sundays.

The food was really tasty. They have a great gluten free menu and nice selection of beers and ciders on tap. The guy was super cool. The outside area was a great place to enjoy a meal and you can bring your pup!

What a great local brewery. There is a parking lot in front of the business and we were greeted right away. There is a small area for seating inside and a nice outside area where you can bring your dog. They also offer food so we ordered some food and beer. We got a couple of the pizzas and they were yummy. We got the Hog Wild and Vampire Slayer. The owners are so nice and we were talking about their beers and the food. We also appreciated they offer Nitty's Cider which is also good. I really enjoyed the Swashbuckler and the Pumpkin ale. We really enjoyed talking with a couple of the owners and you can see they are passionate about their beer and brewery. We bought a couple of t-shirts also as we liked the logo and QR code. Outside were many tables and corn hole was available. There is also a well with fish in there. Stop by and check it out. You won't be disappointed.

What a find!!! Discovered this place totally by accident. Was looking for a dinner place with outdoor space so my kids could run around while we wait for food. This place was just that, and more!! Love the menu, some great options. We ordered a pizza, corn chowder, short rib ragu, polenta fries. All very delicious! Our little ones got to run around their fenced in outdoor seating area (yay they can't run off into the street because it's fenced in). Husband & I also enjoyed drinks while waiting for food, loved the sangria cider! Our boys loved playing with the giant four score board. I promised my kid ice cream earlier that day so decided to try the ice cream balls and OMG!!! We had the apple pie and Reese lightening and just so impressed with how rich and delicious these ice cream bars were. Next time we'll order and try all 4! Very unique, never had "ice cream balls" before, highly recommend trying! You order and pay inside and they bring the food out to you. The cashier lady was very helpful and informative about the menu selections. Very pleasant dinner experience for our family, will definitely be back!

We showed up at 4:17pm to celebrate our 2 year wedding anniversary. We were the only people there for about 25 min or so. We ordered a prosecco & beer - not sure if the beer was in a bottle or on tap, but hubs beer was not fully poured. (I saw someone else order a beer a bit later and it was to the brim.) She forgot the beer so it didn't come out for a bit. No big deal. You get bread and there are big bottles of oil and balsamic on the table which is always a plus. The bread had good flavor and was thick however it was kind of dried out tasting as if it were exposed to air for a bunch of hours before being served. We ordered the clam chowder for an appetizer. It was a thick chowder, but good and extremely hot (caution: I burned the roof of my mouth on the first bite pretty bad, after letting it cool a few minutes.) I also ordered a Caesar salad which was pretty good. Main course we had the lobster ravioli and the braised wild boar. We saw and over heard the two waitresses tell the cooks repeatedly that the sauce on the plate was way too thin and it needed to be thicker.. (the cooks just stared at them) moments later that same plate came to my table. I tried the sauce and it was cold as was the ravioli. I don't generally like to send back food, but this dish is $36 and shouldn't be cold. Our waitress was very apologetic about it and immediately took it back and had them remake it. Meanwhile, my husband was digging into his braised wild boar dish. It came with some cooked veggies, a thick chunky mashed potato tiny scoop and the boar on the bone with gravy. The flavor was pretty good.. we didn't care for how thick and chunky the mashed potatoes were and the boar itself was mostly a huge bone & a ton of fat. It was good but we wouldn't order it again, it's not worth the $38 price for the amount you get to eat. My hubs was practically done eating by the time my lobster raviolis came back out. Our server was again very apologetic for the cold food and said she had them make a whole brand new dish. I tried them, the sauce was warmer but not thick or hot and the raviolis were warmer but not hot. I just thanked her and ate them because I was hungry and it's not worth waiting any longer. The lobster tasted overcooked but the sauce was good. Meh. We decided to get desserts to go so we ordered the pistachio tiramisu and the pistachio cake. We got the check and Kathy told us she took care of my drink and one of the desserts for the mess up on my dinner. We thought that was nice. ......Till we got home and tried the desserts. They were bad.... The cake tasted dried out and old. The tiramisu was disgustingly sour like sour milk and definitely was bad. We threw it all away. I had high hopes because we first went here on a beginning date 4.5 years ago and we had delicious food and they had this delicious limoncello cake with the best light airy frosting, but I'm pretty disappointed because we set this date a few weeks back to come back and celebrate us and it was below mediocre and unfortunately we will not be back. It appears to be a place directed at older people and now they have Groupons? ...The prices are crazy high for what you get. Meh.

To me it sounded Italian and being Half-Italian myself, I have to try this place. Like I always do since I'm fond of my Italian heritage. We parked and with plenty of parking we got out of the car and walked up to the front door. As we walked in we were greeted with a friendly young man who had asked if there was just the 2 of us. As we sat down we were then greeted by our Waiter who had asked what would we like to drink. As we were reviewing the menu trying to find something good, I noticed that they had Spaghetti with Marinara and so being that you could also add Meatballs, Chicken or Italian sausage I chose the Meatballs. The waiter advised that the Meatballs were made with Ground Beef & Pork and to my statement "Thats great, I'll take 3 please" It was no more than 5 - 10 minutes that our food arrived. I took a bite of my Meatballs and let me tell you that took me back to my Childhood when my Nonna used to make homemade Meatballs. I chose Penne noodles because I didnt really want regular Spaghetti. My wife chose the Eggplant Parmesan and when she bit into the Eggplant, (The cooking of an Eggplant should be tender) hers was crunchy as if you were biting into an Apple that was almost tender. My wife enjoyed her Spaghetti and Alfredo sauce but she also took a bite of my bread as well. She wasn't really to happy with the Eggplant so the waiter graciously said that he would bring us some Meatballs in replace of the Eggplant since it was crunchy. He returned with 5 Meatballs and just like the ones that I was eating they too were Hot & also delicious as well. Our Waiter Brandon was very friendly, accomodating, Professional and did what he could to make our first time experience at Skipolinis a great experience. The next time we come we are probably gonna try the Calzones and I was very disappointed to know that while they are on the Menu, they didnt have any Cannolis. That's okay, the food was good enough that we will be back. Thanks Skipolinis for some great food and great experience. We will be back.

My last 3 visits have gotten progressively worse. 1 visit 2 months ago. I ordered my usual garlic chips and antipasto salad with their wonderful Italian dressing. The chips were subpar almost tasteless but the salad was good. 2nd visit 1 month ago. The wait for food took along time considering it was peak lunch time and the restaurant only had 4 other tables occupied. I ordered my usual with a friend. Salads were great garlic chips all dried out seemed like maybe microwaved left overs. We only maybe had one or two pieces . I did call to speak to a manager the following day just to informed of our disappointment. He only made excuses which is a-shame. I guess I'm a glutton for punishment because my sister-in-law came over on Monday 1/19/2026 I suggested going to pizzeria Classico . Let's try it again. We went around 12. There was maybe five tables, including ours. My sister-in-law was craving spaghetti and I said it had to be good here even though I've never had it before. I ordered garlic chips and my salad. Let's start with the garlic chips. They were a little fresher than the last ones but tasteless again I don't know if they're cutting back and getting cheaper cheese or what they're doing that's different but it was not good. Usually I can eat a whole pan by myself. I think I ate two pieces. My sister-in-laws pasta on the other hand was horrific. It was a pile of spaghetti, I don't know what kind of noodles they were, but they were kind of thick and all stuck together with what appeared to be a can of watery chopped tomatoes, very sparingly put on top and the meatballs were also thrown on top. They were fairly good size which was nice but they were very over cooked. No sauce at all. I did not try them. My sister-in-law took a bite of one and said it was so dried up, she could barely swallow it. We set them on the edge of the table the waitress never came back to the table. My sister-in-law will eat any kind of pasta and she couldn't even take a second bite of this. I'm sorry to say. The topper, my salad with Italian dressing that (I love ) they ran out of the dressing at 12:15. What is that all about? I tried it with balsamic no not the same. Tried it with thousand island no not the same extremely disappointing! I do have to mention that it is a pizzeria place and they do have good pizza but I haven't had any in a couple years so I cannot testify to them. The garlic chips are supposed to be well-known and delicious and again totally tasteless. To sum up, my salad was hardly eaten the garlics chips barely touched and my sister-in-law only ate a piece of garlic toast. I really wish I would've taken pictures.
