I needed the back taken in as it pushed out too much, the bottom taken up as I'm short (even with heels), cups added into the chest area, and the bright white cups the designer put under the lace taken out. Christina did an excellent job with all the alterations she made. She was friendly, personable, efficient, and talented. At my final fitting, I wasn't loving how my chest sat in the dress with the cups and Christina made sure I was happy before leaving that day. We altered the cups quite a few times until it worked with my body. I am so happy I chose Pins & Needles for my alterations and would absolutely go back should I find myself needing alterations again.

I looked for a rental place that might be able to help me and found Men's Wearhouse on 114 in Peabody. I walked in to a fairly busy place with a few customers and a couple salespeople. Mike D saw me and asked how he could help. He was already busy with someone and I was grateful he seemed to be a multi- tasker. I told him I needed a full suit for Wednesday morning and he told me that would be the earliest I could have a suit ready which would already be too late. Even before I mentioned my Mom had passed away I could tell he was thinking of how he could help me . He measured me up did some searching, gave me some things to try and kept at it until he found me an amazing combination of jacket, pants, shoes, shirt and tie! Then he went out back and arranged for the seamstress who was already busy to hem the pants for me which I am so grateful that she did. So less than 45 minutes after I aimlessly wandered into the unknown , Mike took me by the hand and dressed me to perfection . The best surprise to me was that I would own the suit for about the same price as a rental without having to pick it up and return it. Unfortunately, he ignored us for about 15 minutes. A line was forming behind us of people waiting for their scheduled appointment and to drop off suits for alterations. Then, people who arrived after us were acknowledged and assisted, while we stayed waiting. Finally, about 25-minutes after our schedule appointment time, we started to get help. When we said we wanted to go with a tan suit, the staff member assisting us did not hide his displeasure. We got as far as walking halfway toward the suits when he left us waiting in the middle of the store to go help other people. It would have been nice if he had finished getting us fully started before walking away again. We waited a few more minutes as he continued to help other people and then we decided to leave. 0/10, dont recommend. Giblees down the street is much better. Go there for your suit and tux needs!

I have several other vintage machines she's helped me with as well, with similiar results. I recently acquired another Featherweight in ok shape that will need some restoration to it's case lining and Erin is a wizard at these also.
