Absolutely horrible experience. Not only did they screw up our 3 pizzas while we ordered them, they actually lost our order!!! We ended up waiting over 45 minutes...not my idea of super fast. I will not be coming back to this establishment & do not recommend it. They were nice about the whole ordeal especially when I just wanted to get my money back & leave; they tried to remake the pizzas (which were still wrong) & made us wait longer. This was my first time here, first impression was atmosphere was relaxed and laid back. Felt welcomed when I walked in the door, told the staff it was my first time and they were very helpful and walked me through the process. Was very quick for pizza and tasted amazing! This place is fun and enjoyable, and I recommend it to anyone who is Looking for something more than just your typical take and go pizza place. When I was first recommended to MOD, it was described as a subway for pizza, and once I had the experienced for myself, I'd say that that description was pretty spot on as you get to custom make what type of crust, sauce, and toppings right in front of you. Though mod has a slightly nicer, more "homie" feeling rather than subway. The pizza was unforgettably tasty, and when it came to the last slice of my pizza, I tried to savor it as much as I could, as I was sad that it had come to the end. Hahaha. I also loved the overall layout and feeling that the restaurant presented. The service was quite pleasant as well, straight forward and friendly. However, we did end up waiting in line for an agonizing amount of time followed by a long wait for our food that I found unnecessary. Recently moved here from Santa Cruz, CA and was missing thin crust awesome Pizza my Heart slices from there. We had tried several places and been disappointed until we had MOD Pizza!!! This place is hands down the best pizza we've had in Vancouver! The ingredients are all fresh and each pizza can be customized for individual taste with unlimited choices for one reasonable price. There are also gluten free options to boot! Yay! Atmosphere is adorbs and the customer service and staff are amazing. We've been here about 6 times and each time the staff is super helpful, gregarious and attentive. The lemonades are pretty stellar as well and the salads amazing too! Super fresh healthy and tasty ingredients are available!! Your belly will say "yeah buddy" if you go here ...just sayin. read more

Fantastic fresh pizza. They do personal pizzas made and cooked on demand. Unlimited toppings no extra charge. A wide variety of toppings to chose from all on homemade thin crust cooked in a stone fire oven. Pizzas cost about $8. They also have salad and beer. Pizza takes about 7-10 min to bake. read more

How can a pizza place be out of mozzerella cheese and sausage? Front counter person wasnt up front on what they were out of. Didnt get asked if what size or sause employee just started putting sauce onto dough and didnt stretch out dough.. I would've left but didnt want to waste food that employee put sauce on. Had lunch here today and I do not think I will return to this location. For advertising as being "super fast" I spent about 25 minutes in line. When I got to the front I saw the romaine lettuce was very wilted and did not look good to eat. I would have just left but I had already waited for quite a while. I asked if they had other lettuce and they did say I could have lettuce from a new container, however it has wilted too, but less so then what they had out so I went with it. They claimed they had just received the lettuce last night. Well my thought is why aren't you making sure your produce looks fresh upon delivery? If you offer salads and are partially a salad place I would think fresh looking romaine would be important. No one wants wilted lettuce with browning spots. Seriously looked like it had been in the back of a fridge for a week. Maybe would return if there was no long line and could see if the produce was fresh first but the whole thing was weird. read more

I absolution love deep crust pizza but when this place opened up I had to check it out, not kidding when I day it was the best pizza I have ever had in my life. The options and quality is unmatched by any other place in vancouver. Not only is the pizza fantastic but the Merion berry lemonade is to die for. I wish they had bigger cups so I didn't have to make to many trips for refills. It's the perfect date spot, perfect family hangout,and the awesome staff and environment makes it the cool new place in the neighborhood. Have to come check it out read more

Just embarrassing! I can't believe I just had the worst pizza ever. Ordered the Dominic. It was just pizza dough. There were almost zero toppings. I counted six tiny crumbles of sausage on the whole pizza, accompanied by three slivers of red onion, three thin slices of tomato and no discernible cheese at all. Really? I love love love this place! They make the pizza right in front of you! It's supper fast when cooking! My family and friends call MOD pizza the Subway of the pizza industry! It smells do good when you first walk in, the smell of all there wonderful dough being made right there. They have a big verity of toppings. Kid friendly and is super super good. I didn't really like the atmosphere/facility. I love this place!!!! So delicious and the staff is usually always great, super friendly and so many ways to make a pizza it's soo worth the $8! The salads are amazing too and all the ingredients are very fresh. Sometimes the line is long but the cook time is pretty fast so it makes up for it! I had never been to a pizza place like this before and loved it. I described it to my husband as the Chipotle of pizza. You choose your sauce, cheese, toppings, etc and then it's cooked for you in a wood burning stove. I loved the thin crust and the size of the pizza was perfect for one person. I absolutely love the food. ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! Tonight, my wife and I and my friend who came in were treated so terribly by one person who was cooking our food. And the dining room was basically closed down 45 minutes before closing. The person that cooked our food wasted a lot of product. As a person in the industry, that adds up so much in product waste. Owners, generals managers, 5 stars on food! But you should be completely ashamed to have a crew representing your company that way. This hasn't been the first negative experience with customer service. We have also had some amazing customer service from select individuals that deserve awards.
