Another great experience at this location! Employees were friendly, helpful and accommodating. Restaurant was clean. Love the indoor seating setup here, with various seating areas so it doesn't feel crowded. They have a large outdoor seating area as well. Parking here can get congestion since it's located in a strip mall. We walked in and were immediately greeted. There was no line, so we were able to order our pizzas promptly. We ordered one menu pizza and one custom. This time I opted for an alfredo base with mozzarella, ham, chicken, spinach, pineapple and a pesto drizzle on top, before going into the oven. My husband ordered the Dillon James, which is similar to a margherita pizza. We also purchased a no-name cake and marionberry lemonade to share. My pizza turned out amazingly delicious! My hubby even enjoyed a slice. He liked his, but thought they were a little light on the basil. He'll request extra next time. All ingredients were fresh. Pizza was cooked perfectly. I love MOD pizza and go to a few of them often because it's usually worth the price... but I've gone to this one maybe 5x so far and I've YET to have gotten quality food from them. Today I did an online order and asked for extra toppings of some things (I'm donating plasma later and need the protein), but they gave the absolute minimum amount of everything. I love the GF crust so I'll still eat it since that's basically all it is, but like... were they thinking they were feeding a bird? A picky person like me, loves places like this where you can pick what you want on it! Went with the mod size as I figured I could eat the leftovers the next day. There are so many toppings, but when it comes to pizza, less is more to me. Went with marinara sauce & mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, salami, mushrooms,onions & pickled onions, all the seasonings & ranch on top. I went somewhere recently where they put pickled onions on the pizza & I thought it was the best thing ever, so I was so excited that it was an option here. It was nice that they offer a sauce on top offer, something most places don't do. Crust was well baked, with some crunch to it. Also, got some marionberry lemonade which was so refreshing. I also didn't have any issues with the customer service compared to some other reviews. 1 person working awesome. I like waiting 60 minutes for a personal pizza. Highly inefficient. Had one employee making 10 salads themself while other 2 employees talked in back room and order line was building up. I waited 20 minutes to get my order in and another 25 to get my pizza. My company can't afford to eat lunch here as it would be more efficient and affordable if we went to a sit down across the complex from here. This is so ridiculous, I ordered a pizza half an hour before I got there and spent another hour waiting. To be honest I'm still waiting . NO PIZZA IS GOOD ENOUGH FOR THIS WAIT TIME. I really enjoy this MOD! I frequent this location often. The foods always fresh and cooked well. For the most part the staff are friendly, there is one employee that gives attitude (he has died hair, last time it was white or like a bleached look. I was most impressed with the woman who was performing several jobs at once, handling all pizza baking, cutting, boxing, handling customer requests, manning the register and refilling cups at the drink machine. She (I found out her name was Mary) was an amazing model of efficiency. If she was not the manager she should probably be promoted to that position. Eight custom orders of large pizzas while I'm trying to get my pizza made, it took 30 minutes for my pizza to get made while there is not a single person in line when I got there, They didn't even bother to actually even get in line, they just got their buddy who worked there to make the pizzas while they sat at the table. I don't mind people making food for their friends or whatever, but don't make me have to sit and wait for it while they all get their food before I do. food here is good, like always with most MOD pizzas. They have an assortment of ingredients that you can put on your pizza or salad. I usually get a salad with all the ingredients in the salad. I always try to find as much positive as I can about any given place. MOD definitely has a nice atmosphere, and I like the concept, like subway for Pizza pie. Now the flavor, honestly leaves quite a bit to be desired. This has become a favorite place for one of my daughters because she's tiny and doesn't require much food, so their MOD lasts two meals for her. And she can put what she wants on it. For me, I'm from Chicago, I have high expectations for Pizza. So, mostly I go to MOD to spend time with her. But if I want Pizza, I'm hitting Bartalomi's or Blind Onion right down the street. Still, there's nothing terribly wrong with Mod, they are a decent pizza. I would have given three instead of four stars, but I went there during July and they has something for "pride month" which almost sent me right back out the door. read more
