No Name Cake and reasonably priced receipt
    Tony R.

It has been over five years since I have been to a MOD Pizza. The last time I went, I still lived in Utah and they were fantastic. Needless to say, I was a little worried going back after five years here in Texas as corporations tend to get cheap overtime to increase their profit margins. I went to this location in Spring and found them to be a little bit worked over. The garbage cans were over filled and the ingredients looked a little on the old side. In their defense, they were very busy. I would like to come back and try them again, not during rush hour. The staff was very friendly., I am pleased to say that the pizza was still pretty good, much better than all the other big corporate chains that I have tried, you know who they are. And more recently and locally, Crust Pizza. For the taste and the price point, MOD Pizza blows them all out of the water. I did the build your own pizza which has a flat price regardless how many toppings you put on it. I did the thin crust with red sauce, roasted garlic, fresh, basil, oregano, mozzarella cheese, asiago, Parmesan, and fresh ricotta, with pepperoni and mushrooms, finished with salt and pepper, and a side of their balsamic fig reduction drizzle. Also, I purchased their No Name Cake, which is their version of a Hostess Ding Dong, just way better. Overall, the food is still great. I will definitely be back.

This location tends to get pretty busy, and there are not always that many workers. Because of this service can be slow, but the workers do their best to get food out quickly. This location is not the cleanest--again short on staff--but the food always comes out hot.

You should see the food bar Everyone that came to eat had to wipe off their tables while the workers just watched.

Came here once again from my better judgment. Decided it's a Friday - they can't be too busy or anything that could turn my smile upside down!!! HA!!! Yeah right!!! Ordered a Pie online - paid drive 30 minutes (on my way home from work) - and guess what!!! NO RECOLLECTION OF MY ORDER!!! Just blank stared and a lot of wandering eyes !!!! Yeah - i won't be ordering anything from this location in ---- NEVA EVA!!!!

The mod size pizza is well worth it. I ate it all but maybe should have saved half for lunch. Choose what you want, yes please. I got all the meat and all the cheeses, and so much more! Enjoy

Hmmmmm my pizza tastes D'Lish!!! O my first bite my taste buds zoned in on the crust. YUMYUM*** \ ( ^ * ^) / ( ( ) ) \ ( ^ * ^ ) / GOOD. This pizza will not give you that heavy gluten feeling after scraping down a few slices. Hey first timers, for get about it - their associates will hold your hand, if need be thru your first order. Don't be shy- ask questions. They answered all of my questions. O ' I will be back. I even downloaded their App.

Came here after hanging out with some friends at the movies; they are open until 10. The staff were very friendly, helpful and also had a really positive attitude despite it being kind of late. They have their MOD Classics or you can be the creator of your own pizza!! If you're ever in the Springwood's area stop by and see these ladies and gentlemen!

When I came across Zalat and to my astonishment learned they have ALL BEEF pepperoni, I got super excited. Since trying Zalat, the amount of times i've eaten here since then is insane lol. No matter what size pizza you get, it's an even 8 slices -- now how big a slice is the kicker lol. Also, the Sirancha sauce is definitely a game changer. I waited until I tried the chicken and waffle mini pizza to right a "diverse" review lol. It too was pretty great for breakfast on the go. Not to mention the handwritten signs on each box. All in all, the pizza makers are all friendly and the establishment gives very homey vibes. I enjoy it every week when I come grab a slice lol

Bland, low quality crust, cheap canned tomato sauce (and barely any of it at that) and average mozzarella cheese at best. The only good thing is the all beef pepperoni. The girl working there with the short shorts just seemed annoyed to have to do her job. Chairs were all put up on the tables 2 hours prior to close l, so I couldn't even eat inside. Pretty terrible pizza overall. Not worth the 1 mile walk. Do not recommend.

All these years later and it's still my favorite pizza place. I hadn't been in quite a while before this past weekend, so I was a little nervous that it had changed and maybe wouldn't be as good anymore. Much to my pleasant surprise, everything was exactly as I remembered it! I wish I had gotten the name of the woman who took our order. She was so kind & genuinely seemed to enjoy interacting with customers. I didn't see my usual favorite (Mr. Potato Head) on the menu so I assumed they discontinued it. However, we asked after we ordered and she said it's still a menu item! So I'll have to make sure to go back and get it the next time. My husband and I split a chicken Caesar salad and a medium pizza, though we could've easily gone down to a small size. They really don't cheat you out of toppings & that's one thing I'll always appreciate about this restaurant! I'm eager to bring it back into my local restaurant lunch rotation.

Quick service, took us about 20 mins to place an order and get our pizza and wings. Amazing deals! The wings are about $1 each and they had multiple options - loved the garlic parm! The lemon pepper was a bit too lemony for my taste. Our pizza was delicious! Light, great crust, and amazing flavor. Also the large is 12! We ordered the chicken Alfredo pizza and loved it. Had for lunch and still have half for leftovers. Zinella's will be our new spot for pizza delivery!

The stores AC was out, so it was hotttt in the store. But it didn't affect the quality of the pizza or customer service. The cashier was the only person working; she was soooo sweet and helpful. I ended up getting a large 1/2 bbq chicken 1/2 4 meat, a personal pizza w bacon (for only $5!!!!!) AMAZING!!!) and some hot wings. The pizza was really good! Crust wasn't too thick, nice and saucy (I LOVE PIZZA SAUCE) and the toppings were nice and fresh. The wings were just ok; skin was not hard like we like but it was no biggie. Would definitely come back if we are in the area.

Now full transparency, my husband is a New Yorker, and by his standards it was average for NY pizza. But judging by my Houston palate I thought it was good. The calzone was my favorite. Adding the optional ricotta made all the difference. It took it from a 4 to a 7. The only downside was the pepperoni. I could literally count the slices and wished there were more. That said, the bread texture was wonderful, and that same great texture carried over to the garlic knots, which I really enjoyed. I think trying meatball, or a supreme (heavier on the meat) version would be fantastic. When I go back I'll that and be sure to update. We also tried the chicken parm sub. It was okay, though my husband thought it was subpar. Personally, I think the tomato sauce did a lot of the heavy lifting flavor-wise. Surprisingly, I really liked the cannoli filling, which says a lot because I usually don't care for cannolis. They often don't taste like much to me, but this one did. The inside of the place is very quaint and mom-and-pop, which I loved. Service was great. I ordered to go, was told 20-25 minutes, and the food was ready in about half that time. All in all, this is a solid pizza place for locals, and I'd absolutely come back to try more items on the menu. I want to try the original place and see if it's better. I mean, it should taste the same right? (Will update when I find this out).
