It has been over five years since I have been to a MOD Pizza. The last time I went, I still lived in Utah and they were fantastic. Needless to say, I was a little worried going back after five years here in Texas as corporations tend to get cheap overtime to increase their profit margins. I went to this location in Spring and found them to be a little bit worked over. The garbage cans were over filled and the ingredients looked a little on the old side. In their defense, they were very busy. I would like to come back and try them again, not during rush hour. The staff was very friendly., I am pleased to say that the pizza was still pretty good, much better than all the other big corporate chains that I have tried, you know who they are. And more recently and locally, Crust Pizza. For the taste and the price point, MOD Pizza blows them all out of the water. I did the build your own pizza which has a flat price regardless how many toppings you put on it. I did the thin crust with red sauce, roasted garlic, fresh, basil, oregano, mozzarella cheese, asiago, Parmesan, and fresh ricotta, with pepperoni and mushrooms, finished with salt and pepper, and a side of their balsamic fig reduction drizzle. The very worst pizza I've ever had. My sister and I couldn't even finish one slice and threw away the whole pizza. Despite requesting tomato sauce, there was none. She said it was the best pizza she had ever eaten. My granddaughter is into the vegan eating lifestyle. So if you're a vegetarian or vegan MOD is great place with so many options and choices. I like the pizza here, but I wish they had larger options and perhaps some wings to add. I've been here several times and other places in the areas, and their service is great and quick. I like that you can order online for pick up as well, however I think they don't actually start your order until about 5-10 min before your scheduled pick up time. I called myself trying to be proactive by placing an order online to be ready by the time I drove back into town. I still ended up having to wait about 5+ minutes. My order was placed an hour earlier. Aside from that I love how the pizza is always made fresh and the crust is not too thick or gummy. I just wish they offered more than just a small or XS size. First of all I work right around the corner and it's great to have a brand new shopping center with awesome restaurants instead of the 100th auto shop. This place exceeded my expectations. It's probably pricier than the other pie place but the ingredients are really cool. It's kind of like a Subway or Chipotle but for pizza with a lot of options. I got a white sauce Base with chicken sausage and caramelized brussel sprouts and a bunch of other things topped with pesto and it was awesome and perfectly crispy. The next thing I got was no sauce and a bunch of veggies which were high quality and a whole bunch of whole cloves of garlic. It was awesome and I was able to avoid meetings all afternoon. Both pizzas I had were surprisingly excellent for a place with this concept. The staff is very nice and the juice tastes great I love their lemonade and iced tea variations. My wife and I have been to this location quite a few times and we have loved it, staff was always friendly and the food is always great. Today we decided to order it since we both had some work at home to do. As I mentioned before, we have never had a problem until today. Today we found a GIANT RED HAIR in my wife's pizza under the cheese. It was her last piece and she didn't need another pizza, but I did want to call to let them know so they can hopefully prevent it in the future for other customers. As a business owner I love to hear feedback both good and bad so we can improve in the future. We tried to call a few times and the automated service had us going in circles. I do not blame this on this particular location as it's my assumption that it is to help the entire company by assisting virtually instead of using man power to do so. I finally just selected the option to check on a delivery order, as the other options (make an order via automated service, or let the store know we were there to pick up curbside) did not put us through to their phone line. I sat waiting for about 5 minutes before I gave up. I always try to give the company a chance to fix things before I leave a bad review, but unfortunately there was no way for them to rebuttal. I understand these things happen sometimes, especially with a lot of product leaving the store, but it shouldn't have gotten through quality control. I believe someone should have caught it, especially because it goes through many hands before reaching our plates. In summary, the hair that was baked into our pizza was disgusting, and the fact that the company doesn't have preventive measures in place is upsetting. I also wish they had a better way to contact them in order to resolve issues that are bound to happen in a busy workplace. UPDATE: The phone call finally went through and the manager resolved the issue without hesitation. I personally love it because I can add pesto and garlic and things into the sauce which I normally can't do at other pizza places. I've been to different locations and they've all been great, I've specifically been to this one twice during my lunch break since it's close and I've been on a pizza kick, theirs seem like the healthiest option. I normally order their Caspian, but these past couple of times I did the DIY, I love that they fire stone cooked pizzas! Their topping options have a lot of variety and always seems fresh to me, they also have salad options or even a "salad pizza" which is a neat idea. This location is not seating anyone inside but they do offer delivery, curbside or pick up inside. They are personal pizzas, online you have the option for a mini (6 in), they're normal (11 in), or their Mega Dough (11 in thick crust), I tried a mini and it was a good snack, definitely did not fill me up but their regular size I'm able to eat three slices and be filled, I definitely have no issues with leftovers! read more

Been here 3-4x to order for carry out and each time there is something that is a little unsanitary happening with the workers, but I figure heat kills germs and as long as I am watching my pizza being made and nothing too crazy happens - I'll be okay. Unfortunately, I've seen worse. But I will mention how once the guy putting the pizzas in the oven was all dripping sweat and wiping it with his hands and he had on a super dirty raggedy surgical mask that he had obviously been wearing for weeks straight.
