I am not a big pizza fan, but this place has now got me hooked, and my kids couldn't be happier. The crust is thin & crispy and you can either choose one of their signature pizza's or build your own. I was a bit intimidated about the whole process, but the guys behind the counter made it easy and it was quick. Very cool to be able to choose what you want and the choices of toppings were quite the variety and fresh. I chose a mod pizza with tomato, pesto sauce, chicken, cilantro, onions, kalmato olives and a variety of cheeses. Not your regular pizza, but I liked that. We ordered 3 mod pizza's that fed the 4 of us and the cost was $25. Prices were very reasonable, the pizza was SUPER good, and the atmosphere was pretty "MOD" The collage of pictures on the wall were a good touch. My daughter recognized pics from her local high school. We will be back ! read more

Nice to see MOD on the north side. This one is as good as all of them. Kids loved it. They got mod size and ate every slice. Line was a little long, but that is because they are new up here. Customer service is awesome. They dropped one of our pizzas and had to make a new one. They gave use sodas while we waited. read more

I loooooooooooove mod pizza. And the team here is super cool. We're often visiting family in Spokane and mod is like a home away from home (cuz we live in Seattle and they're based here...). My favorite thing to get is a salad (I know... it's a pizza restaurant) but the salads are delicious and I add roasted garlic, pineapple, chicken, bacon, roasted red peppers, olive and balsamic vinegar. Delish. Also the pizzas are incredibly fast. And the crust is yum. read more

Personal sized pizzas, customized to your liking. How could it eat better than that??? No extra cost for ANY of the toppings, and they have so many to choose from. Loved it! Toppings were all really good and I love that the crust is thin, I feel like you get more flavor from the toppings that way. Was pleasantly surprised to find that if you wanted extra cheese or meat or whatever, it doesn't cost any more. I really want to try a salad next time, I will definitely be back! read more

I really had higher expectations for this restaurant. Upon entering, the line was long but it seemed to move quick. I noticed the fresh ingredients and friendly staff immediately and was super excited to design my own pizza. I got the 11 inch with dairy free cheese, which turned out to be pretty yummy. The reason I have to give this place 1 star is because I was treated very rudely while ordering a glass of wine from the cashier. She asked for my ID, which I presented, and then she preceded to treat me very rudely and attempt to deny me of the glass of wine because of my out-of-state ID. I'm not really sure why this was such an issue. It was handled by a manager who acted much more maturely than the cashier. I won't be coming back because of this incident. read more

Their Grand Opening is on Friday but I wandered in today for their friends and family and they were super nice, my pizza was free and phenomenal. I have been to all their Spokane locations and they are absolutely great! Wonderful customer service, the staff here has been trained up really well and they have a great energy! This pizza restaurant has been so popular...I have driven away a few times due to the long line. I love Blaze Pizza...and I was told this pizza would be similar but this is closer to my house. I stood in line...and the line kept increasing behind me. It was so noisy! High ceilings, lots of yelling by the staff..I did not enjoy that. I liked looking at the fresh toppings for either a salad or pizza. The amount of toppings was a bit skimpy...but the price was inexpensive. However, I thought the taste was "ok"....it was a bit burned on the bottom. It is a super popular place...but it was not good enough for me to recommend. read more

I love this MOD!! It's always fast, fresh, friendly, and my pizza is always perfect- no matter HOW I build it! I love that I know what I'm spending ...it's always the same price. If I want a simple fresh basil/tomato and cheese pizza or an all-out 3 meat/veggie combo smorgasbord..I'm not digging any deeper!! My boyfriend and I LOVE mod. They have the nicest employees, who greet every customer who comes through the door and again as they leave. We continue to come back monthly (sometimes more) and can't quite get enough of the pizza, customer service, fair prices, and their fountain drinks are bomb. read more

I've been to MOD 2 times. The first time was so good I knew I needed to bring my husband. Thin and crispy pizza is his absolute favorite! But when we went together the pizza was barely even cooked. When we picked up a slice it was so floppy the toppings fell off. Can't say is go back or recommend because of the drastic inconsistency. Too bad because the price is great there. read more

I usually go the MOD on Wellesley and have nothing but positives to say about that location. They are friendly clean and do a wonderful job. Unfortunately I did not have the same experience when I came to the one at the Y. We walked in and were greeted right away. The people behind the counter were friendly and the pizza was of ok quality (my daughters cheese pizza...it is pushing it to call it that) BUT...the dining area was a mess. Food all over the floor the parm cheese shakers all empty the rug was wrinkled which is a hazard and clearly had not been seen by a staff. We sat down and there was 1 single napkin in the holder when I went to another table that one was empty as well. I went to the counter and there were 6 people there working..one of which was sweeping the floor behind the people making the pizzas. It took those 6 people a solid 50 seconds to even notice I was standing there. I am sad to say I will not be returning to this MOD. I know this is not standard practice for MOD and just want to say....c'mon "Y" get it together read more

Tried it for the first time today and loved it. I will go back again and again. So many choices of toppings I think I chose them all.

I'm sorry to say, I'm really disappointed in the crew that served us. In a recent visit, yes it was busy. However, that does not mean you give scant toppings. Upon requesting for a little extra, I don't expect 1 or 2 pieces of olives. My husband asked for pepperoni yet the person did not put it ion. We had to remind to place pepperoni on and to use a heavy hand. Heavy hand meant 4 pieces of pepperoni. I don't understand. Hopefully this location will iron out these problems. In the meantime, I recommend the south hill location. They are the best. read more

I had a friend pick me up a box and I really enjoyed the variety of options and found my pizza to be genuinely gourmet. I went in tonight for the first time and was surprised at the high energy atmosphere. They said it was typically a slow day although there was a large crowd gathered. 11 bucks for bread sticks and an 11' pie was a good deal for the quality. This isn't pizza by the mile. But I could see myself easily going back in line for seconds. read more

I am a big fan of mod pizza in general but, this particular location is a disappointment. This location was initially great however, as they have been open longer they get skimpier and skimpier with the toppings. You ask for a topping and the will put the lightest dusting possible of the topping on your pizza, you ask if you can have more onions etc... and they drop another pinch. I came in with my mom and she asked if she could have a little more onion and the lady said she could have all of the toppings she wanted, but how many times should you have to ask for more onion and still end up with the tiniest amount of onion on a pizza? This has happened many times at this location and with different employees. They are all pleasant but it seems obvious to me they have instilled in their employees to be scarce with the toppings. It is not just me that this has happened to, all of my friends or family that go here have had the same experience. One friend emailed corporate about the skimpy toppings and never heard back. I still love mod pizza but I no longer even consider this location when considering where to eat. read more

This is for the owner of MOD pizza on N Newport Hwy. Usually we have had good experiences when eating at this establishment but yesterday showed us that the staff is in dire need of some supervision and organization. First of all, we witnessed one of the girls drop a pizza off her pizza peel when removing the pizza from the oven. Ok accident, but what followed was hair brain. minus one pizza in someone's order. I placed my order and waited an unusually long amount of time. People that ordered after me got their pizzas first. The girl called my name and it was the wrong pizza. She was trying to give me someone else's pizza, as if someone got my pizza. She tried to explain their order numbering system which apparently failed. I asked her if I should wait at the counter while she located my pizza or if I should sit down and check back. She said to check back. I waited for a while and was not contacted about the whereabouts of my pizza. I went back to the counter. This was the start of a bad chain reaction that had happen probably when someone's pizza got dropped. I asked her where my pizza was and the girls all looked at each other puzzled and confused. They told me they didn't know what happened to my pizza. The line was long and she asked me to go to the front of the line to make another pizza because mine was missing in action. I told her I was not going to cut in front of all the people. She said she would write down what I had for toppings and they would make me another one. At this point the incompetence and waiting was too aggravating. Holy cow it's not that difficult to communicate with your customers so you don't leave them hanging wondering what the heck is goin on. We gave up and asked for our money back. So the two stars are for those employees who were dazed and confused and for the lack of competence. read more
