Build your own pizza place. You choose your own toppings as you walk down the line. They have 3 different size pizzas. You can also pick from pizzas they have on the menu. They also have salads. I came here during lunch and everything was fast and smooth. In case you are in a rush, you can order online. I accidentally ordered a mini (kids size). It was small. I wasn't paying attention to the menu lol. It was soooooo good. Super tasty and delicious. I added pepperoni, spicy chicken, bell peppers, onion, corn. Once it was out the oven I topped it with buffalo sauce and pesto. They also offer a gluten free crust and a cauliflower crust. I imagine the cauliflower crust is low carb. They have a wide range of base sauces. From traditional red sauce, spicy red, pesto, olive oil, and a white sauce just to name a few. First time to visit upon the recommendation of a coworker. Way too many pizza places to return. I had the mini pizza with white sauce, chicken, bacon, tomato, and mozzarella. Many bites did not even have a bite of meat... toppings were sparse, at best. The crust was chewy and only the very small millimeter around the edges had a nice crunch. It should have cooked at least 4-5 more minutes. White sauce had a nice garlic kick and tomatoes were fresh. I ordered a small salad with iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, corn, chickpeas, black olives, croutons, and ranch dressing. Once she placed everything in the bowl, she mixed it up. I personally prefer to mix my own salad so I get all the individual flavors. Had I known they do it, I would have asked them not to. It then had a lettuce flavor with mayonnaise on it. Ugh! Hubby had the 11" pizza with red sauce, mild and spicy sausage, pepperoni, and mozzarella. Crust was a little more crispy than mine with approximately the outer two inches with a nice crunch. He always does the "fold" test and it passed. Both of us had to season up our pizza with everything they offered (S&P, Parmesan, and Italian seasons) and it was still bland. Just not enough flavor to entice us to return. Service was fair to midland. The pizza artisan was way too soft spoken and we had to keep asking her to repeat herself. You cannot go wrong with a pizza made the way you like. I always get sucked in and out too many toppings on my pies but the ingredients are quality. This was my first experience At a MOD Pizza. My personal pizza was great and the service was very nice. Concerns for management: 1. The bathrooms need attention. Per my husband, the ventilation air vent covers were filthy in the men's room. I didn't notice in the ladies room. 2. The blonde girl on the front line with the ski hat did not have in a hair net as she leaned over the food. 3. The girl with the beautiful long brown hair DID have it pulled back in a pony tail... however, it was swinging all over the place as she worked the dough machine. It was lunchtime so I thought I would try this popular Fast Food pizza chain restaurant. As I walked in I found the atmosphere modern, bright and cheery. The staff was a-ok friendly. Their pizza choices were: Mini 6" kid sized crust - $6.27 pick toppings Mod 11" pizza - $8.27 pick toppings Mega Dough 11" Double thick crust - 10.27 pick toppings Gluten Free or Cauliflower Crust - $10.27 pick toppings I could create my own pizza with a choice of over 30 toppings or choose one of their classic pizzas with specific ingredients. * Their Classic pizzas show the calories but at the bottom of the menu it says adds 220 calories for Gluten Friendly crust in Mod size. For cauliflower crust it adds 100 calories to Mod size pizza. Also 3 different sizes of salads were available. Lastly a salad pizza was also an option. I chose the Mod 11" pizza with the option to pick my own toppings. These are not New York style pizzas quality wise IMO. I chose no sauce but extra cheese (I didn't receive extra cheese). I also chose pepperoni, Canadian ham, pineapple, red onions and roasted garlic cloves (about half of my garlic cloves were severely burnt). My attitude about Mod Pizza declined though when I received my pizza and started eating it. My toppings lacked a quality taste and were blah in flavor. It was disappointing to have so many badly burned pieces of garlic I had to pick off. The crust was a-ok. My ice tea was meh. Not very flavorful. They do sell beer. They have many options to chose from. I think Mod Pizza might possibly be a good option for Vegans/Vegetarians because they offer many veggie options which looked fresh. I've only been to a few different MOD locations, but this one is very spacious compared to the others. Plenty of seating, clean modern restrooms and the pizzas aren't bad either. If you catch it at the right time, you can walk right up, but I have been when it's busy also and the line went out the door. They have seasonal shakes, beers, and lemonades so they are somewhat different than other 'make your own' pizza places. I tried the marionberry lemonade and didn't really like it as much as the regular. Their sweet tea is not as sweet as other fast food/casual restaurants. Like other 1 price pizza places, you may be temped to add a LOT of toppings. If you do add too many, your pizza either isn't going to taste that great or might be undercooked in the center. read more

I've been to tons of MOD Pizzas all over three different states and I've never experienced a store that has such poor customer service as this location does. The first time I came here I ordered the Caspian. A simple off-the-menu item, with the ingredients clearly listed on the board. As it got passed down the production line there was such poor communication between team members that no one knew what was being made, nor did they know which toppings to put in it. I had to keep telling them the toppings that they had neglected to add. There was no one effectively supervising or managing them. The second time (which will be the LAST time) I went in, I received just as poor of treatment. I went in to let them know that I had arrived to pick up my online order and there were about four employees behind the counter goofing off. One of them was extensively chatting with the guy in front of me, while one of the others looked me straight in the face and completely ignored me and kept chatting with all of the other workers. It's totally ok to socialize and have a good time at work, but not at the expense of neglecting the customers. This store is out of control! read more

I was actually quite surprised with MOD. I went in not expecting much but my pizza was quite good. I got pepperoni and mushroom, a classic. It was cooked on point and delicious. But by far the best thing about MOD Pizza is their attitude and their ethos. They strive to employ those with disabilities or convicted felons in need of a second chance. I'm not surprised this business started in the great open minded haven that is Seattle. Being able to be served delicious made to order pizza by a minority who has been oppressed by systemic white racism and the prison industrial complex is the stuff dreams are made of. I love MOD's pizza & how they have ingredients for people with allergies. However, lately they've really fallen down on the job. I have to ask them to change gloves for an allergy & I've gotten eye rolls the last 2 times I've asked. They used to do it automatically. I'm not sure what's going on, but hopefully it changes. Also, I have concerns that NO ONE wears a hair net or beard net when they are making pizzas, cooking pizzas, or stocking ingredients. I've always felt Mod Pizza has excellent customer service. When my name was called, I asked the young lady if it was ok to get a box. Her response was rather abrupt "Well, do you need one?"
