I am vegan and gluten-free and don't remember when was the last time I had a pizza. After a lot of research, I found two pizza brands in my neighborhood who offer gluten-free vegan pizzas. Today I ordered one from Mod Pizza. Their website allowed me to build my own. The website was user friendly and my pizza was delivered very quickly. I really enjoyed the pizza and highly recommend it. read more

I love this place because you can build your own 11 inch pizza with unlimited toppings for $10.69. They have a variety of sauces, cheeses, vegetables and meats to choose from. It's always super quick and they even have cups of different dipping sauces you can get. I think the crust has gone down in quality than it used to be. Overall it's a great place for everyone to get what they want. read more

This place is normally alright and during our hour lunch break, my coworkers and I have been able to get there and have our food in under 15. There's also normally this really nice girl with colored hair that's fast running the counter. Today we had the biggest looking stoner I've ever seen behind the counter moving at the slowest speed he could muster and had to ask several times for people to repeat themselves. His hair was in his eyes and not even remotely tied back even though he had a red bandana on so I just know there's hair getting in the food. It took us almost 45 minutes of our hour lunch break today just waiting for him to get through the line and get our food. Bring back that girl during lunch hour please (or anyone faster than this dude). read more

Workers need to start wearing hair nets. This is the second time I am getting hair on a pizza.

Quick, easy and a good comfort food. Recommend ordering your crust baked a little bit longer especially if you are ordering a veggie pizza. read more

Build your own pizza place. You choose your own toppings as you walk down the line. They have 3 different size pizzas. You can also pick from pizzas they have on the menu. They also have salads. I came here during lunch and everything was fast and smooth. In case you are in a rush, you can order online. I accidentally ordered a mini (kids size). It was small. I wasn't paying attention to the menu lol. It was soooooo good. Super tasty and delicious. I added pepperoni, spicy chicken, bell peppers, onion, corn. Once it was out the oven I topped it with buffalo sauce and pesto. They also offer a gluten free crust and a cauliflower crust. I imagine the cauliflower crust is low carb. They have a wide range of base sauces. From traditional red sauce, spicy red, pesto, olive oil, and a white sauce just to name a few. I'll be coming back because the pizza is flavorful and I'll sure to get the larger size. read more

By far the dirtiest location I've been to. It doesn't look like they have wiped the beverage area down in years. Every open table was filthy. The pizza was not good either. 0/10. read more

The food is generally great if you get a happy employee, this location unfortunately is filled with disgruntled employees and the location and bathrooms are always dingy. I had the weirdest interaction recently with an employee here and we will be reaching out to corporate because of it. read more

First time to visit upon the recommendation of a coworker. Way too many pizza places to return. I had the mini pizza with white sauce, chicken, bacon, tomato, and mozzarella. Many bites did not even have a bite of meat... toppings were sparse, at best. The crust was chewy and only the very small millimeter around the edges had a nice crunch. It should have cooked at least 4-5 more minutes. White sauce had a nice garlic kick and tomatoes were fresh. I ordered a small salad with iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, corn, chickpeas, black olives, croutons, and ranch dressing. Once she placed everything in the bowl, she mixed it up. I personally prefer to mix my own salad so I get all the individual flavors. Had I known they do it, I would have asked them not to. It then had a lettuce flavor with mayonnaise on it. Ugh! Hubby had the 11" pizza with red sauce, mild and spicy sausage, pepperoni, and mozzarella. Crust was a little more crispy than mine with approximately the outer two inches with a nice crunch. He always does the "fold" test and it passed. Both of us had to season up our pizza with everything they offered (S&P, Parmesan, and Italian seasons) and it was still bland. Just not enough flavor to entice us to return. Service was fair to midland. The pizza artisan was way too soft spoken and we had to keep asking her to repeat herself. You'd think after asking 5 or 6 times, they'd get the message and speak up. read more

I Ordered a Greek salad with chicken. The salad was full of wilted leaves of salad and soggy vegetables, nothing was fresh. The customer service was okay and the restaurant was clean. read more

I like mod pizza. A little pricey but you get a pizza built like a sandwich at subway. Just the way you want it in an assembly line picking toppings as you go. The pizza is nice and thin then cooked to a perfect crispness in a hot oven. read more

This was my first experience At a MOD Pizza. My personal pizza was great and the service was very nice. Concerns for management: 1. The bathrooms need attention. Per my husband, the ventilation air vent covers were filthy in the men's room. I didn't notice in the ladies room. 2. The blonde girl on the front line with the ski hat did not have in a hair net as she leaned over the food. 3. The girl with the beautiful long brown hair DID have it pulled back in a pony tail... however, it was swinging all over the place as she worked the dough machine. It was those issues that kept me from giving them a five star. Other than that I really enjoyed my visit. read more

MOD Pizza - Even after a couple of bites, I Had to take a pic - Fast Food Near Me - Shenandoah, Texas

You cannot go wrong with a pizza made the way you like. I always get sucked in and out too many toppings on my pies but the ingredients are quality. Next time I will limit myself to 5 as that is the magic number for a well cooked and flavorful pie. They cooked my order to a nice crisp and the service was great. Quick and delicious! read more

Placed an online internet order, pulled up to pick up my order... waited about 15-20 mins. For some nonchalant worker to tell me that my order was ready ahead of the wait time. I was tempted to go the f**k off- but to my hunger pains, I digressed. Please advise and train your incompetent staff. Mmmmkkk- thanks! read more

It was lunchtime so I thought I would try this popular Fast Food pizza chain restaurant. As I walked in I found the atmosphere modern, bright and cheery. The staff was a-ok friendly. Their pizza choices were: Mini 6" kid sized crust - $6.27 pick toppings Mod 11" pizza - $8.27 pick toppings Mega Dough 11" Double thick crust - 10.27 pick toppings Gluten Free or Cauliflower Crust - $10.27 pick toppings I could create my own pizza with a choice of over 30 toppings or choose one of their classic pizzas with specific ingredients. * Their Classic pizzas show the calories but at the bottom of the menu it says adds 220 calories for Gluten Friendly crust in Mod size. For cauliflower crust it adds 100 calories to Mod size pizza. Also 3 different sizes of salads were available. Lastly a salad pizza was also an option. I chose the Mod 11" pizza with the option to pick my own toppings. These are not New York style pizzas quality wise IMO. I chose no sauce but extra cheese (I didn't receive extra cheese). I also chose pepperoni, Canadian ham, pineapple, red onions and roasted garlic cloves (about half of my garlic cloves were severely burnt). My attitude about Mod Pizza declined though when I received my pizza and started eating it. My toppings lacked a quality taste and were blah in flavor. It was disappointing to have so many badly burned pieces of garlic I had to pick off. The crust was a-ok. My ice tea was meh. Not very flavorful. They do sell beer. They have many options to chose from. I think Mod Pizza might possibly be a good option for Vegans/Vegetarians because they offer many veggie options which looked fresh. The meats I had IMO were blah and lacked a quality taste. I wouldn't return but I think it's worth a try. Large free parking lot. read more

I've only been to a few different MOD locations, but this one is very spacious compared to the others. Plenty of seating, clean modern restrooms and the pizzas aren't bad either. If you catch it at the right time, you can walk right up, but I have been when it's busy also and the line went out the door. They have seasonal shakes, beers, and lemonades so they are somewhat different than other 'make your own' pizza places. I tried the marionberry lemonade and didn't really like it as much as the regular. Their sweet tea is not as sweet as other fast food/casual restaurants. Like other 1 price pizza places, you may be temped to add a LOT of toppings. If you do add too many, your pizza either isn't going to taste that great or might be undercooked in the center. read more

This place is incredible. Owner was attentive and extremely kind to my wife and I. The staff was friendly. The place was clean. The pizzas were perfect. Great experience all around. Tasty pizza in a good amount of time. Monday at 130. No line. Pizza ready in about 5-7 minutes after putting it in the oven. Nondairy cheese was a must and they have it! Only 3 stars because 1) they were skimpy on the volume of each ingredient- i had to ask for more of several items just to get it up to a decent amount, 2) they cut the pizza into quarters, when it really needed another cut, and 3) flies indoors- not a lot, but annoying. read more

Great place for pizza! Build your own pizza here. Choose your sauce and any toppings, it is all one price. They have many choices for meats and veggies as well as sauces. They even have glazes that can be added after your pizza cooks. If you aren't in the mood for a pizza, you can also build your own salad. They have a no name cake cake available for dessert ( much like a ding dong, only better). There is plenty of seating in the industrial style restaurant as well as additional seating outdoors. Pricing is around $8 for an 11" pizza. Pretty good size for an individual. read more

I've been to tons of MOD Pizzas all over three different states and I've never experienced a store that has such poor customer service as this location does. The first time I came here I ordered the Caspian. A simple off-the-menu item, with the ingredients clearly listed on the board. As it got passed down the production line there was such poor communication between team members that no one knew what was being made, nor did they know which toppings to put in it. I had to keep telling them the toppings that they had neglected to add. There was no one effectively supervising or managing them. The second time (which will be the LAST time) I went in, I received just as poor of treatment. I went in to let them know that I had arrived to pick up my online order and there were about four employees behind the counter goofing off. One of them was extensively chatting with the guy in front of me, while one of the others looked me straight in the face and completely ignored me and kept chatting with all of the other workers. It's totally ok to socialize and have a good time at work, but not at the expense of neglecting the customers. This store is out of control! read more

I really wanted to like this place but based on our visit I can't. I'll start off with the good and then needs improvements. Good: I like that you can build your own and the price wasn't to bad. The vibe had a bit of a hip feel and the service was good. The needs improvement was the product. The crust was not good at all and the others in my group said the same thing even though I kept quite. There were lots of topping selections but things like the lettuce were very wilted. Sorry guys but I'm a hard pass on MOD read more

I'm a fan of Mod Pizza in general and there are tons of locations all over the area. What makes this location stand out and why I decided to write a review was because of the amazing staff. Everyone there is very kind and they go above and beyond in terms of service. My parents are elderly and have some health issues, so finding restaurants with good service is very important to me. If you are in the area and are in the mood for great pizza, I would highly recommend this location. read more

Super BOMB! On the west coast where I am originally from we LOVED blaze pizza! Very very similar but Id argue BETTER! Can really taste the quality! Also super efficient and fast Came in during what I would say is the lunch "rush" and was immediately assisted with making our very own mod pizza! In all we ordered a small Caesar salad, one 11in meat lovers, 11inch spicy hawaiian , 2 sodas and 2 of there no name cakes!!! Which were AMAZING! The total was a little over 40 dollars all worth the quality of the food was amazing the service was fast definitely coming back prolly more then we should. If you can get one of the no name cakes I honestly think they are a amazing. 100% what hostess treats use to be made and taste like read more

Refused to break my hundred and then walked away from me. Fat manager with no respect.

I was actually quite surprised with MOD. I went in not expecting much but my pizza was quite good. I got pepperoni and mushroom, a classic. It was cooked on point and delicious. But by far the best thing about MOD Pizza is their attitude and their ethos. They strive to employ those with disabilities or convicted felons in need of a second chance. I'm not surprised this business started in the great open minded haven that is Seattle. Being able to be served delicious made to order pizza by a minority who has been oppressed by systemic white racism and the prison industrial complex is the stuff dreams are made of. Spread MODness indeed. You rock MOD pizza! read more

Amazing service the people there were very friendly and helpful the best pizza and the nicest people highly recommended

I love MOD's pizza & how they have ingredients for people with allergies. However, lately they've really fallen down on the job. I have to ask them to change gloves for an allergy & I've gotten eye rolls the last 2 times I've asked. They used to do it automatically. I'm not sure what's going on, but hopefully it changes. Also, I have concerns that NO ONE wears a hair net or beard net when they are making pizzas, cooking pizzas, or stocking ingredients. I saw a man with long black hair restocking ingredients with his BARE HANDS. read more

It tastes good and it's good that you can make your own pizza, service wasn't that impressive, and it's expensive .

I got a really wonky looking pizza for to-go and there were only 3 pepperonis on it. It tasted alright, but wasn't like how I got my pizza from there before when I'm in line. I know you're thinking "5 stars on a wonky pizza?" but here's why. When I went back and told them about what happened they were so nice and apologetic and weren't rude about me mentioning it. They gave me a free pizza to make up for the mistake. (Which was delicious as per usual) I really appreciate the recovery service! Also, those little cakes.. YUM read more

I was starving and looking forward to my favorite, Dillon James. This was Tuesday the 10th of Nay. The young man behind the counter was pleasant enough. I've always felt Mod Pizza has excellent customer service. When my name was called, I asked the young lady if it was ok to get a box. Her response was rather abrupt "Well, do you need one?" (Why else would I ask for one....hmmm) I explained I was going to eat two slices and so, yes so I can take the rest home. I'm glad I dyed in for the two slices as the pizza was completely chard on the bottom. I should've taken a picture. So I went up there to show the young lady that my pizza was burnt. She then said " you need to ask for it to be less cooked." Huh??? I pretty much told her I wanted cooked like it normally is when I order at Mod pizza and not burnt. I waited for my pizza and she present led it to me with the tongs and asked me if it was OK now? No apology, no nothing! I didn't feel like I was asking for a lot just my pizza not being burnt. Maybe I should start going to another location. read more
