Always ordering for pick up, it's ready in a timely manner, staff is friendly (without being intrusive), and the pizza always tastes great.

This is my go-to Mod. Tonight we ordered a cheese pizza with ham and pepperoni, mushroom and olives. 14 dollars. And the pictures speak for themselves. You can't charge more, deliver less, and expect to keep customers. read more

This MOD is the better of the two in Puyallup. They're great with getting orders right for online orders and they're pretty fast. For anyone with a dairy allergy, I recommend getting no cheese at all. This pizza holds well without it. See pics! I took away a star because every time I order delivery here they forget something. I understand the current issues we are having and was okay with placing an order for pickup in the AP and having to wait an extra 40 mins after my order said due to be done. What's frustrating is my order was $95 that included tips for 4 11 in pizzas, 2 breadsticks with pesto, large family Caesar salad, 4 drinks and 4 no name cakes. 3 of my pizzas were not 11 in. 2 were missing toppings ...NO PESTO for the breadsticks and I was missing a drink. It's frustration to get all the way home and realize your shit isn't right. I'm hoping someone responds back with some form of compensation. read more

Rude employee working 03/26 morning (Asian male). I still smiled and treated him kindly despite how we were treated with his terrible attitude. It's obvious he does not want to be there. He cut me off when I was ordering and wanted to sub an item on the pizza, which I then forgot about later on as he prepared them. not everyone eats fast food often and is familiar with the terminology or how to order for this facility, so when he asked if we wanted cheese on our pizza, and my husband says "of course," and he rolled his eyes and says "well, I don't know unless you tell me." He also seemed exasperated when we ordered "two pizzas" instead of "2 unlimited toppings" or whatever he called them. This was our first and last time visiting a fast food pizza place. The gentleman with the tattoos was very nice. It wasn't just us - as we waited for the pizza he had the same temperament with the woman who was in line behind us. Well where to begin be careful where you eat wife got a salad employee dropped a pen in the salad wife asked for new salad. The employee got annoyed and got new salad. After the employee remade the wife salad with fresh salad. The employee dumped the old salad that was contaminated with the new salad and was annoyed by my wife for asking for new salad. Health violations happen here all the time. I will not be going back to this place and you should not go here because self entitled employees who are lazy and unsanitary. Stopped by on 3/1 around 3 PM. They were SLAMMED! plus they had a few people call in sick. (thank you for staying home, seriously!) There were probably 10 people in front of me, and by the time I ordered, 10 behind. Some of us had large or difficult orders. Each order was taken correctly, and each one came out perfect. Some were gluten and dairy free, which needed new gloves and such to prepare, then new gloves again for the rest. Everyone was on their toes, and apologized for the wait. It really wasn't that long and it showed that each one of the employees cared about what they were doing and about the customers. Oh, and Jeff, TAKE YOUR BREAK! I dont know about why people are complaining about the service but I go here all the time, weekends, week days sometimes for lunch or dinner or midnight snack. That being said I had service from different staff members and I always get excellent service in this location. My pizza is always made to perfection staff are always friendly. When yelpers posted a picture of Amir that he is the best. He live up to the expectations he goes above and beyond and makes my pizza with care. Absolutely terrible. The worst mod pizza I have ever been to. They were rushed and so they ended up taking my pizza out before it was done. I watched the guy who was working at the oven and he kept checking his phone and chatting with his friends. I don't think he was paying great attention. Lucky he wasn't though, because he didn't get the whole pizza on his tray thing and since it wasn't fully cooked, the pizza dropped and all the toppings fell off. Their whole attitude about it afterwards is what was so bothersome. Acting like it was such a hassle for them to remake it, I wasn't allowed to go back by the toppings to see what I wanted on the pizza again. I had to tell them from the side by memory. Then when they did remake it, the left most of the toppings off or changed them slightly. For example, I said I wanted the roasted garlic cloves under the cheese and the lady who was working argued with me that they have minced garlic she can use. I told her I wanted the roasted garlic please but thank you for reminding me there was minced, it is too bitter for me. She literally pushed for it a few times before moving on. Come to find out, she never put any roasted garlic on it, only the minced. They didn't seem to rush my pizza remake either and my family had finished eating before my pizza even came out. The only person who ever apologized about ANYTHING was the cashier when I came back and asked for the black olives that were forgotten on my pizza if I could just have some in a bowl or cup or something and I can put them on my pizza myself. He apologized. For the olives being missed. Very frustrating. The manager was beyond rude. read more

What an enjoyable visit to a new location. We were promptly greeted and the line was short, but still moved along very quickly. Although there were a large number of Internet orders, the staff put our pizzas in the oven mixed in with the others and by the time we were checked out, got our beers, and found a seat, our names were called and were served hot pizzas. The staff puts just the right amount of toppings to cover the crust while not overloading. Always a nice light swirl of sauce just enough to taste and garnish, but not smothering. Toppings are fresh and always great taste. MOD also offers different crusts for those who desire or have allergies to gluten so there is a pizza for everyone. The crust is thin and firm enough to hold shape with the toppings that the customer desires. We have been going to MOD locations since we discovered them several years ago. Yes, there are make your own pizza restaurants sprouting throughout the globe, MOD differs with their atmosphere while serving quality products at reasonable prices. When we ordered, there was a slight issue at the store; perma-frozen dough for all the 2020 bingo players. The staff was helpful and competent. Ellie helped me through it all. We were really excited to try the pizza, so I agreed to come back later for pickup. She said an hour, I came back, the pizza was hot, awesome, and I received a credit for my troubles. You are able to choose your toppings on your personal size pizza like subway allows you to do on their sandwiches. I like the options for ingredients, cheeses and sauces so you can have it catered to your taste bud. Ordering online was easy enough and it was ready for pickup at the store as promised. Good sign for a relatively newly opened restaurant. My only beef is the size of the pizza. Maybe their mega dough crust option might make the meal feel more substantial. Lied and told us we could not sit inside when other people where already sitting inside and we had already sat down. She threw something at the employee making my salad and laughed. The food was undercooked because I overheard her talk to another employee about plans after work so our pizza was rushed . They're always late. Slow service! If you order ahead on line add at least 20-30 minutes to the estimated pick up time.

It's like when you go to subway, and the person making your sandwich just sloppily throws the ingredients on. They dropped handful of cheese in the center of pizza and refused to evenly apply it. I asked for more, or for them to spread it out and got attitude from the young kids working there. I ended up having to pay for extra ingredients in order to get (almost) 75 percent of the red surface covered with just the most minimal amount of cheese. I watched as they made everyone's food, and every step of the process except for the kid making the dough was done with total carelessness, it almost seemed like we were all being pranked. Tried Mod for the first time. Like the fact that you have a large variety of unlimited toppings with no extra charge and the toppings were very good. We were disappointed with the crust. We were not greeted in a kind manner, there was no eye contact and the words were shot at us before the door closed behind us.
