LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Taco Time NW and the Puyallup site is one of their best restaurants. The staff are wonderful, the food is always super fresh as usual, and they are pretty quick at getting your food ready for you. When you are having a major Taco Time craving getting that food fast is super important! I honestly would eat here every single day if I could. But you know, life, and all that entails, gets in my way. I am truly addicted to their Taco Salads and the hot sauce is divine. They were closed for awhile this year while they prepared the new restaurant and I thought I was going to have a mental breakdown but I was able to hit up another Taco Time NW before needing to be hospitalized. It is above average fast food, and ingredients are fresh. We order frequently and enjoy the salads, nachos, and fit bowl. However, you have to look at your drive thru bag carefully as there is a higher than average error rate. Until I started looking to verify, I was usually missing a salsa, salad dressing, or food item. Now I go thru the entire bag, even if I am holding up the line. The second issue is the highway robbery of the rice! I used to order it but after only getting 1/3 of the container full each and every time, I dropped it from the order rotation. If I want rice, I buy the 90 sec microwave version from Rice a Roni for the same price. read more

Second time in a row now my order being made completely wrong. I paid for crustos and got a extra order of mexi fries and no crustos. The time before that I ordered a number two and two crisp tacos and instead got a number 2 and 2 additional crisp burritos. I'm starting to get a bit frustrated because it's a 10min drive to and then home. I checked my order this time before leaving and saw the crusto bag but once I got home and started eating I realized they're mexi fries. I live in Orting and the Taco Time up on the hill is closer to me but I choose to drive out to the one on main because they are so much better. Tonight I made a trip there because my disabled 4 year old was having a tantrum and refusing to eat anything. My go to for when this happens is always the beef crispy burrito. (She has a sensory processing disorder so she really likes crispy things). Anyways tonight y'all just so happened to be out of the beef and chicken crisp burritos. Very dirty location compared to all others I have been to. They were out of hot sauce in the pump thing...just sort of disheveled. I usually love Taco Time. I'm also VERY upset about the drink machine being gone. I was told they lost the contract. This is a real bummer bc I appreciated and sometimes cane to Taco stone specifically for the Dasani soda water option. I do still appreciate using the compostable products. And the vegetarian options. Those will both keep me coming. The tall African American female working in this day was super courteous and fun to talk to. read more

They get something wrong with our order almost every time we go there. It is so frustrating!!!! They constantly leave out napkins. Tonight we ordered 2 sides of ranch, got home to unpack the bag, and - NO RANCH. Why. Why why why is IT SO DIFFICULT to hand the customer the CORRECT and COMPLETE order?!!!!! I've complained to their offices multiple times. So sick of it. Get your crap together for crying out loud! This food isn't cheap. The people who shell out for it should get what they order. We frequent Taco Time a lot, probably once a week or so. The Taco Time on 15802 Meridian East is typically excellent, friendly and convenient and of course delicious. It's the only 'fast food' type of place we go to. A few days ago I drove through and ordered a pinto bean natural soft taco with a flour tortilla. The location wasn't busy; I was the only one at the drive-up. I received a bag with my order, paid, and was on my way. Only because I was stopped at the corner did I look at the item and discovered it was beef. The receipt clearly stated pinto bean so I had to drive back, park and go inside the restaurant. I showed the receipt to the person at the counter and asked for the correct item. Without acknowledging the issue, she took it and went over to the manager/supervisor (?) to discuss. They made another one, this time correct and gave it to me at the counter. There was no apology or friendly expression but the manager advised me that if only I had ordered differently it would have been easier. I'm not sure what that had to do with them making it wrong but sure. Also no apology or any kind of professional or courteous comment. Mistakes are made, it's not a huge problem but the discourtesy by the lead person is a problem. I was by there today at about 2:30 pm and that same manager was there. She is discourteous. Maybe a customer-facing position is not for her. read more

This is favorite Taco Time in the Pacific Northwest! I've been eating there for about 10 years. Rarely is there an error in my drive through order. Both the chicken and beef are good. Other Taco Times have blah chicken that tastes like rubber. If you go at noon you may run into a line but they handle the crowd quickly. read more

I just had to review this taco time. It's by far the best one I've ever been to. There's a particular kind individual (I'm assuming the manager) who has outstanding customer service skills which makes this place the best. He has redish hair and is always the supreme gentleman. You can't miss him, because he emits positive energy like a beacon of light. Of course, taco time food is always excellent for fast food but this particular gentleman is an absolute gift to the establishment and to mankind.
