I've finally found true authentic Mexican cuisine in the state of WA and my heart is so happy! Added bonus, this restaurant is right down the street from our new home too which means will be surely be regulars in no time! From their ceviche to their huevos con chorizo, ever dish was packed with flavor and Mexican spices. There were so many good menu items that it was hard to decided what to order! Love the variety in the menu so my tastebuds can try something different each time. Service was friendly and prompt as well. Phenomenal! I ordered the California burrito and it's the best I've ever had. Steak was perfection. Salsa verde was amazing and it's massive. Ate the entire thing LOL. My fiance ordered the bierra tacos and she loved them. Live 5 minutes away and can already see this becoming an issue with how much I'm going to be eating here. Husband was craving Mexican so we popped in. WOW! This place is excellent. We went around 11am on a Saturday and the service was prompt, kind, and diligent. We brought our baby and the staff were waving at him and checked in multiple times to see if we needed anything extra. Pricing is fair and the decor is very cute, our baby was enamored. Not sure what region of Mexico this family is from, but it tastes more like the Mexican you get in LA and Las Vegas/Reno. This is the Mexican I love!! They have thee best refried beans and rice. The burrito is so good. All the meats are tender and flavorful. This is "real" Mexican to me. If you're from Nevada or LA, you already know the guacamole is top tier here. The carne Asada anything is bomb. No matter what you choose, it's so good. They don't skimp on the portions and the service is good too. Pro tip: eat inside. The dine in specials are so good. They save you some money and the food is still amazing. Not to mention, I'd love to have a big old margarita or something with tequila on the side of the ginormous burrito they have here. The enchiladas are a must. So good and the sauce they serve on it is so flavorful. Not oily or bland. Not expensive for no reason. Ambiance inside the restaurant is really good. Clean and tidy. We came here on a Saturday night around 5pm and were the only ones here but were greeted with friendly faces and tostadas when we sat down. By the time we left the place was filling up quickly. It's clean and cozy inside with great music playing as well as a few TVs so there was always something to see or hear while you ate. The food was seriously delicious! And the portions were great, we all went home with leftovers. The cucumber jalapeño Margarita was fresh and clean and they had lots of cocktails and beers, none on draft though. We tried the carne asada plate which had so much flavor, the carne asada is on the thin side but really flavorful and tender. The peppers mushrooms and onions were some of the best I've ever tasted, and the refried beans were on another level! The California burrito was enormous and packed with JoJos steak rice beans and I got it smothered in sauce which added great flavor. My Wife and I have been looking for a place that prepares Birria tacos for a WHILE now. We've only found a spot that serves it in Seattle. Taste was absolutely flawless, ingredients so fresh, every bite leaves you wanting more. Avacados are included as well for a healthy addition. The staff are so welcoming and kind, allowing you to sit where you wish, and they have 3 TV's in the dining room. Perfect ambience with music playing, and not too loud, just right! Food comes out nice and hot!! Pricing is - $$, and worth every penny! I recommend this restaurant for the wonderful experience they've provided each and every time we have decided to go out for Birria Tacos. Nope. Idk what the premise of this place is but everything is off. First, whats with these prices, $5-6 for 1 taco? Get real. Their bar drink menu looks to have some depth but if you want something else, like iced tea or juice for your kid, limited options. You cant even get an iced tea without sugar. Its raspberry tea or sweet tea..... Fish and shrimp tacos without any kind of cream sauce available? Thats weird. Also, neither the shrimp nor the fish were good, just eh. 2 sauce options and both were mediocre and bland. Beans came out cold but also have their own unique, non-standard flavor profile, different from all other Mexican places. Its not like they took the standard flavor and made it better, they just made it taste different and it doesnt jive with Mexican food. Idk what they are trying to do in that kitchen, maybe they dont know either, but the place is unjustifiably expensive for the quality of food coming out. Service was mid also. She spoke English but had trouble understanding so I kept having to ask 2 and 3 times for things. Recommendation: just go anywhere else for a better experience. There are plenty around. read more

We get their meat plate usually which has a little taste of grilled chicken, carne asada, shrimp, beans and all the fixings but we ventured put today and got the birria tacos, California burrito (wet) and the tamales. I never have anything bad to say. They do the best to accommodate my allergies and always have great tequila recommendations. To top it off they have Victoria which is so hard to find. A real find in a strip mall that has a fair amount of eating places. Kept walking by this place to go to the two others we frequent but finally went in. Excellent! Great food, tasty, well seasoned without being salty. Have a great bar and selection of cocktails though I did not try them. The exterior belies the really nice ambience inside. Well worth eating inside rather than just doing take out. Service was excellent. Want to go back and try all their specials and their other dishes. Highly recommended. read more
