Overall - average to just below average. I ordered the arroz con pollo - it had a few vegetables and very few pieces of chicken, but it was drowned in a very salty sauce. The service was average to just below average. Took the order and delivered the food, but didn't come back and refill water, etc. The music was a bit too loud - had to talk very loudly to the person across the table in order to be heard. The restaurant wasn't crowded at all for the dinner hour - maybe 2 or 3 other tables taken (now I know why - lol). On the positive side, they did serve bean salsa in addition to a nice mild salsa with the chips. Wish I could leave a better review but this was my honest experience. read more

Excellent family run low key Latin American food business. Always friendly and fast. I don't remember everything I've tried but I've never been disappointed. When I have a cold, I come here for chicken tortilla soup. Excellent. I tried something that was out of the ordinary for me not long ago. A soup like dish that had steak and bacon and peppers that cane out sizzling hot in a stone bowl. Insanely delicious. We always walk away saying we should come here more often. read more

The service here is always great. The food comes quick and is always fresh. You get free chips,salsa,and bean dip all of which are pretty tasty (especially the bean dip!). The carne asada, enchiladas, and burritos have all been very good and worth the money. I do wish they had tap beer though, we would go more often if they had tap beer. Their margaritas are also a bit expensive, but the food is fairly priced. Inside is a bit dated but still decent, and they have soccer playing on the TVs most times. read more

The service sucked. Our server Martin was so slow getting our stuff and we were the only people in the restaurant. Another couple of gentlemen came in after us and they got served and had already left before we got our check. I just wanted to order a bean tostada and they want to charge 10.99. But the lunch menu has an Avocado tostada with rice and beans for the same price so that's what I got. Unfortunately they put your taco or tostada on the same plate as your rice and beans and the shells get soggy and have to be eaten with a fork which defeats the purpose of having a crunchy tostada. Didnt like that. They should always put tacos and tostadas on a plate by themselves. Also they charged $2.50 for a side of sour cream. Ridiculous!!! This is it!!! read more

My husband and I are from Los Angeles, we just moved to Puyallup (close by). We couldn't be happier to have finally found a spot that has delicious food! My go to is the huevos rancheros. The staff is wonderful, always friendly and attentive. The restaurant is very clean and roomy. We love it and it makes us feel at home. Came in on a Saturday night (and even ran into someone I work with) about 7:00pm. We were seated right away and several staff frequently checked on us. Food was average Mexican and was delivered to our table relatively fast. Only complaint, albeit small, was that no one brought us our bill. So, after like 20 minutes of small talk, we finally decided to get up and go get it on our way out. Seemed weird since the staff was so attentive at first. Milton Mexican Yeah its 1 of the only Mexican places in small Edgewood/Milton city They do meat right.. the Beef Carnitas n Shredded Beef were good.. everything else was pretty avg. like the Mexican Pizza n the Enchiladas Service was good but we did not receive full service where they'll ask if ur food is good .. n shocking thing was our customer next 2 our table said her Chicken Fajitas was gross n the server didn't do anything about it plus my wife had 2 ask 4 a Pepsi refill where I didn't, so I never got a refill on my Sprite I recommend a sign where it reads, "Drink Refill Upon Request" read more

Fast service, large seating area, Mexican decor, large picture windows to look out and get natural lighting in the restaurant. They also offered lunch specials which are cheaper than the menu price. First I have to say definitely come here over the Puerto Vallarta across the street for sure! The first time we came here it was just to buy some refried beans and red rice for a dinner we were having! The kind older gentleman took our order and threw in a thing of chips and salsa which I thought was a sweet gesture! The last time we went in to this restaurant we were looking for a Mexican place that served some delicious authentic Mexican food not this Tex-Mex crap that has became popular! Boy did we find what we were looking for! Ranchito Mexican Restaurant is a diamond in the rough for sure! From the amazing complimentary salsa that comes with chips to the awesome fajitas we were very very pleased with the quality of the food and the portion sizes were great too! And of course their Horchata is amazing! Next is the service like I mentioned before the service all the way from the host to the waitress was top notch and was not disappointed in any way! My husband wanted to go here and I was a little hesitant after reading some of the 1 star reviews. However, the service was freaky fast. Our daughter who's almost two had crayons to play with and her food came first so she didn't get antsy. Our food soon followed and I was a little surprised at the size of the meal. My chalupa was huge. I ended up taking most of my food home, while my husband ate all of his and loved it. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because when it came time to take our Debit card for payment we couldn't find our server and ended up going to the front. Not a big deal but that's the reason for the dropped star. I'll go there again next time my husband wants Mexican food. read more

Chile rellenos are my go-to dish to order in a mexican restaurant so I've eaten many and these were hands-down the worst I've had. The beef enchilada & chalupa left a lot to be desired too.
