This McDonald's has improved so much, and it honestly deserves recognition for the progress they've made. There was a time when this location struggled, but you can clearly see the effort they've been putting in to turn things around. The changes over the past few months have been noticeable, and it's all thanks to the new managers and staff who are working hard to make the experience better for everyone. The new team at the front is incredibly understanding, patient, and genuinely great listeners. They treat customers with respect and make you feel heard, which wasn't always the case before. You can tell they care about doing their jobs well and creating a better environment. And the kitchen staff deserves a huge shoutout too. They are seriously some of the hardest workers in the building. They keep things moving, handle the pressure, and still manage to get orders out quickly and correctly. Their effort does not go unnoticed -- customers really do appreciate them. The managers are also trying their best, and it shows. They're more involved, more supportive, and clearly committed to improving the store. You can feel the difference in the atmosphere, the service, and the overall experience. This location has come a long way, and it's becoming a place people actually enjoy coming back to. Big thanks to the whole team for the work they're putting in. The food has also been consistently good lately. Everything comes out hot, fresh, and made with care, which really shows how much effort the kitchen team is putting in. Hate to keep hounding at McDonald's on 320th. in Federal Way, but this place needs some serious help. We had two gift certificates from McDonald's and ordered two (2) Big Breakfasts with hot cakes. Whoever was taking the order kept placing the wrong order, but after some trial and error (and constant reiteration of the order), the order on the screen was corrected. Then we drive up to a pay window and the teller/clerk has no idea what to do with the gift cards. Stated he needs to get the manager for his "fingerprint" (?). Upon approval from the manager, we move on to the pick up window. The worker immediately hands us two oranges juices and a small bag. I questioned the order and informed her we ordered two Big Breakfast meals. She takes the juices and small bag back from us then hands us a large paper bag containing our order. We were on our at to have our SUV serviced, and the traffic behind us was quickly backing up, so we drove off without checking he contents of the bag. Upon reaching our destination, we opened the bag and found our order however, there were no utensils, napkins or salt & pepper. Luckily, the car dealership was able to provide us with plastic forks and I retrieved a role of paper towels from our SUV. Service is sadly lacking at this particular McDonald's. Racist employee/manager. I was behind a car and came through the drive through at 10 pm. I ordered a quarter pounder cheese meal with fries, water, and a m&m mcflurry. The car in front of me was a silver Audi with people who spoke Spanish. They handed the cashier a gift card with $1, I'm sure they did not know it only had a dollar. The cashier, white, skinnier, with shaved blonde hair, began to yell at them. He said "I need 16 more dinero!" And was screaming at them. They were softly speaking, you could hardly hear them. They were in no way rude to him. He then continued to wave around the card and shove it towards their car window. The cashier then said "I don't speak Spanish!" And "I need more money!" While continuing to raise his voice and look aggressively at them. The people in the car handed him a different card and it went through. They asked for a manager or someone who spoke Spanish and I inferred that when the cashier yelled "there's nobody here, they left", he had his head out the window and was leaning towards their car with an angry face. They drove off and he cussed as they went to the next window. The I drove up to cashier and he said to me and my grandmother, "I can't stand it when people who speak Spanish pretend they don't know English, I hate that sh*t." At this point me and my grandmother had only said hello to him, not gave him a dirty look or anything, but he was accusing the people in front of us of pretending to not know English. They could only know a little and were trying their best. But he was racist and rude as soon as the people in front of us pulled up. My grandmother just said "oh" and we went to the next window. I called the downtown McDonald's at 10:24 pm to report him. They said he was a manager. That means he would get away with his behavior. That is disgusting and I hope you guys can look at this and not just give a slap on the wrist. I will take this to corporate if you do not give the proper procedure for this behavior. It is always a long wait in the drive thru at night, even during the day. Even with the long wait, half the time you don't even get the right food you ordered, or they forget something like fries. I honestly think they need to improve their night staff greatly, with me here sitting for 20 mins, halfway into a busy street because they only have one line open in the drive through.
