I chose cauliflower crust pizza w/ veggies at Mods. The store was not busy. After selecting my toppings it went into the oven. I was disappointed after paying as much for the pizza that taste like cardboard. It was not appetizing thus I trashed it. Ive had the same from this location previously. I am thinking or believing that they have changed their cauliflower crust. For the price point and dissatisfaction, I will not be returning. Ive had better elsewhere. read more

I am a fan of Mod Pizza. While I think this location has the ability to be great, this particular visit just wasn't quite it. Our food seem rushed. Our pizza was good but could've been cooked longer and the ingredients just slid off while eating. While we requested it to be made well done it was not. My salad was amazing. The restaurant is neatly maintained. Bathrooms are clean. I would be willing to return as long as it's not during a "rush". I feel like the food is made better and customer service is better when it's not as busy. read more

My husband and I both wanted pizza and we thought we would try MOD! We ended up getting the barbecue chicken with light mozzarella and extra onions and Gorgonzola along with a salad that we built our selves (picked out the ingredients) as well as cheesy bread! Quite a satisfying meal. The salad was really excellent, with the vegetables crisp and the pieces cut in such a way that the ingredients permeated it and you got a very good mix of everything in each spoonful. The pizza was also decent but there was also the demerit that some of the pepperoni slices tasted a little gross and not all the cheese choices seem to be appropriate for a pizza. Perhaps some of the ingredients were put on the list with little thought. However, the pizza was still of acceptable taste (although not excellent), with a nice crust and otherwise satisfactory toppings. I appreciate the fact that it's more or less an individual pizza reasonably priced and that you don't have to get a tractor-trailer-wheel-sized saucer like at other pizza places. Service was good and the locale itself looks clean and welcoming and it's well-situated for looking out the window on a scenic corner of a strip mall. However, the parking situation might give some trouble. Even at a time when there was no one there, there was barely any parking nearby. read more

Update- I just can't with this location! NEGATIVE vibes from the staff! We are frequent MOD customers, but it seems I never get a good vibe from this place. We entered to chaos, kids running around in front of the door, no warm greeting by staff, instead a staff member talking to a man leaned over the glass food guard. None of the other staffers even looked up. They all look like they are hating life. Hubby and I waited about 3 mins...and decided to head to Eldersburg MOD where we know we will get some decent customer service. Sigh read more

The customer service was top tier from start to finish. Everyone was so friendly and patient. It was a senior citizen before me . The pizza maker was so patient and accommodating to him. He made my pizza to my liking. It' was so good. He suggested oregano sprinkled on top and it was really good on my build your own pizza. I can't wait to go back. read more

Very user friendly app for ordering curbside pickup or delivery. Ordered a build your own pizza. Took less than the time given to prepare. It's similar in concept to &pizza. I would say it's better than Blaze hands down BUT &pizza is my fav. Too bad owings mills can NEVER get the good food chains (that's a whole separate rant). Anyway, the pizza crust is thin (thinner than &pizza). I ordered sausage on the pizza and I didn't care that somebody clumped all the sausage on one side (as you see pictured). It's definitely not on the same caliber as &pizza or other brick oven pizzas as far as taste. But I did enjoy the pizza and the few toppings they offered - the red onion was a nice touch and along with mikes hot honey. I liked that the pizza could be made in multiple sizes 6in and 11in and you could opt for a thicker crust 11in pizza if you desired. Also, if you don't want to build your own pizza, there are many options to get a signature created pizza by MOD. read more

Management seems to have improved greatly since I've worked there, old management was very micro managing, I feel that they train them right allowing them to breath which makes a much better atmosphere for everyone. I've only had a remake once so far, due to being understaffed. Pro tip: if you want you pizza to be cooked though thoughly don't tell them that you want a billion toppings on it, this should be common sense but isn't sadly. Food quality is good, salad's are a good way to get full to if you're in the mood to be less carby, highly recommend the fig glaze dressing! read more

It's sort of like &Pizza but MOD has different sizes of pizza to choose from including appetizers and soda. You can choose all toppings of your choice, included in the price size of the pizza. The pizza gets fire grilled and you can then again add final touchings/toppings to the pizza. Plenty of spices to put on the pizza (parm, red peppers, etc.). This place was extremely Clean! Spacious. My son wanted pizza after our date to see The Batman and MOD Pizza was near the theater, so we decided to try it out. The staff was ultra nice and the pizza very good. My son had pepperoni and bacon and I had Callie which had a white sauce, mozzarella, parmesan, chicken jalapeño sausage, sweet hot peppas, roasted cauliflower, and rosemary. While I wasn't crazy about the white sauce, everything else was on point and I would try it again if I could change the sauce. I arrived on a Sunday evening with my daughter and her friend. They really enjoyed the atmosphere and the pizza. Just opening, they are working out a few kinks in smooth delivery of pizzas. However, it's worth the visit. There are two single restrooms - women and men. The walls are filled with great pictures and art. Everything was clean and there are plenty of seating options. I love building my own pizza or elect to have one of their specialty pies. Dessert? Yes. A "devil cake pie", shake, and dessert pie are the options. So they deliver it all in house. read more

We love MOD, but the service today has been awful. The girls were all on their phones with earbuds. The one making my pizza was actually talking to someone on the phone and not listening to my order and I had to ask her several times to get my toppings because she wasn't listening to me. They need to stop putting their phones ahead of customer service. This is sad! This is a job. They need to remember that and be professional. read more

We always get good service at MOD Pizza but today was EXCEPTIONALLY GREAT with Khalil and Zimir. They both greeted us with their infectious smiles making the air feel light. Terrible experience again at this location. Our last two trips to MOD in Owings Mills has been very frustrating. Ordered online yesterday for dinner and were given our estimated time to be ready. We arrived 10min later and our order wasn't even started. After waiting an additional 30min, we finally received our pizza's. When we got back home, we noticed that two of our pizza's barely had any toppings on them. In fact, the one pizza had so little on it that 2 of the pieces were only cheese. Very disappointing service & quality. I'll most likely not return to this location again after two terrible experiences back to back at this MOD location. read more

My god! I've had a shit day but this place has brought me life. I think ... well yes I know this is GREAT pizza. If you are tired of the shit pizza being delivered in this area- do yourself a favor and try this place. P.s. the no name cake, WTF!? You will feel sadness and disappointment when you first see the little shriveled package. However upon the 1st TASTE you will become a believer. Another great experience at Mod Pizza. However, this was my first time visiting this location. It's brand new so the restaurant was super clean and the decor was brand new. I ordered the Maddy pizza with olive oil and it did not disappoint. I highly recommend trying the bottled sodas they have by check out. I had the cream soda, and it was honestly the best part of the meal. I did try their mini chocolate cakes and it was a little on the dry side. I really like this place and frequently go by have noticed that I'm waiting much longer for my order. Not sure about staffing issues but the setup is basically an assembly line and so things in my mind should run as such and it just doesn't. Decided on a whim to check out MOD pizza for lunch. Placed my order online and it said to do curbside pickup get there at 2:04. Got there at that time, called and they said pizza was in the oven and they'd bring it right out. Wasn't paying attention and next thing you know it's 2:25 and I have to be at work. Customer service is great and no issues. Unfortunately, the pizza at this location hasn't been good. When they first opened, they were on point. But last time, my pizza was dry as if it was no sauce. This time, I went back to try the mega dough with additional sauce of hot sauce and ranch and it tasted disgusting. I arrived earlier than expected time to pick up my order and may be it's the reason my pizza wasn't cooked all the way; they were rushing because they knew I was there waiting. Plus, it was a mega dough that it wasn't enough time for it to be cooked all the way that the middle of my pizza was somewhat still dough. I also couldn't even taste the other flavors of my pizza because it was over flowing of hot sauce. My mouth was burning after eating a slice. Worst, I'm feeling sick after eating a few slices. Normally we have a great experience but today it seemed like completely new staff. They burnt the an order and even after waiting almost 20 minutes for it to be replaced it was burnt once again. The manager was incredibly rude and refused to provide his name or his manager's name. The staff refused to assist and one blatantly stated she did not care, exchanged curse words with me and stuck up her middle finger. The lack of professionalism from the bottom to the top of the staff is astounding and I will be looking for a district manager information to complain to because this experience was appalling. read more

I've only been to a Mod pizza once, and I didn't get pizza (yes, shame on me). Today I stopped in to this location. I know it's new, but it was super clean and the staff were super friendly. When I walked in, every single one of them (5 people) said hi and welcome, with a smile. It was obvious I didn't know where to even start, so they helped me with that and made recommendations. I am a weirdo who gets stressed when I have to order in a moving line and don't know my options. If you are reading this, you probably are too. Who looks at yelp before they go somewhere? Anyway, I like to compliment good service when I see it, because the industry has lacked any luster these days. The kids working there we're polite, friendly, and seemed to be enjoying their work and working together. On top of that, the pizza (for me), was all the hype. Very good! read more

I know this place just opened but they need to be retrained on cross conamination!! They all wear rubber gloves .. while wearing the gloves they say what can i get you they write it down with a magic marker then get your crust still while wearing same gloves and they put all the items on your pizza with their hands no utensils then send it down to bake now while still wearing the same pair of rubber gloves go back to the magic marker and ask the next customer what can i get you write it down then get your crust and again put the ingredients you choose on the crust pepperoni, cheese spinach etc. And all of this while still wearing the same now very dirty rubber gloves!!! I dont know why people think because they have gloves on they can do whatever and keep the same gloves on.. this isnt the only place that has this practice ... This is how people get sick and diseases spread. I never saw anyone change their gloves needless to say i chose not to eat there and wont and will tell everyone i know of my observation read more
