This is the closest to NY pizza that Maryland can get. I've been ordering from Vito's Express for a while and the pizza is just getting better and better. Looking at the 1-Star reviews I am amazed. This is an express location -- take out and delivery are the best options -- the drivers are always great. Friendly, fast, pizza arrives hot. The subs are always good. The stromboli and calzone are always good. I've never ordered the entrees, so I can't rate them, but I also wouldn't order a chicken alfredo from a pizza delivery spot... This place is great. 10 stars. read more

ROACH INFESTED ESTABLISHMENT I bought a pizza and ate inside and observed roaches crawling all over the countertops. I was told by cooking staff, that this has been an ongoing problem that goes unaddressed because the owner/manager doesn't want to pay for extermination cost. This is a dirty , filthy, disgusting place to get food from. To walk in , pay for food and leave, your never there long enough to see the infestation . Sit, stay a while and you too will see. You know it's really bad when the roaches are literally crawling around right in front of you while you're eating. RUN FROM THIS PLACE read more

One of the best pizzas in town. Chewy yet crispy crust, with a sweet tomato sauce and the best ratio of cheese. Always quick and easy for carry out with friendly staff and service. Not a place to eat in but perfect for the on the go or for any week day dinner or meal. The pizza is by far a menu favorite but you can't go wrong with any dish. read more

As reviews said, pizza is good here but everything thing else was sad. Cheeseburger sub was one of the worst I have had. Cheesesteak was ok but both rolls were BURNT!!! Cold cut sub was good. Fries gave a new meaning to shoestring and couldn't eat some because they were so hard . Place was empty except for the 2 guys working and the phones didn't ring the whole time I was there. Won't spend money here when much better is close by. read more

Great pizza and great subs! Food comes out pretty quickly so I love coming here to grab some lunch. Workers are very nice and while this isn't really a place I'd sit down and eat, I could if I wanted to read more

So I found myself out Stevenson college doing a job one morning & decided to give Vito's a shot. I must say I have missed feelings about the experience cause my service wasn't up to par the lady that took my order wasn't in the best of moods, which I hate because one thing bout me I'm not just going to buy something I have questions about what I'm eating & she didn't seem to be in the helping mood. So after that unfortunate experience I must say my pizza wasn't bad at all. Especially the Buffalo chicken pizza one of the main things that stood out this was the first place I've been to that gives you crispy chicken on the pizza instead the grilled meat & I must say it was good I would've went back for another slice if the woman's attitude wasn't so annoying. I would definitely recommend giving them a shot if you're in the area read more

Vito's Express - Cheese pizza & Buffalo chicken pizza - Pizza Near Me - Owings Mills, Maryland

Primarily a take-away joint BUT....the pizza is TO DIE FOR fresh outta the oven, steaming with that crispy thin crust (that doesn't stay crispy in the delivery box!) Try it! read more

This was my first time trying Vito's Express and since I tried the Vitos in St. Thomas Shopping Ctr and enjoyed it I decided to give the Express a try. I thought the experience would be just as good. I called in my order for a small cheese pizza and was told it would be ready in 10 to 15 minutes. When I arrived, I was greeted and even exchange friendly banter with the three employees there, one of which I believe was the owner. The store was clean and with limited seating inside and some outside seating. Before I left, I opened the box and looked at my pizza and on the surface it was beautiful. When I got home and took a bite of the pizza it tasted burnt. I flipped it over , and indeed it was burnt. I called the store and explained what happened. I told them the flavor was good with the exception of the burnt crust. I was told by I believe the owner to bring it back in. I asked if they could make another one and he said yes and asked if I would like it less done. I told him yes, and proceeded to come in with the pizza. When I got there, I felt ambushed by the three who had originally greeted me so pleasantly. The owner asked me to delete the videos that I had taken of the store. The other employee the Cook, I believe Told me that I was just trying to be a troublemaker and that the pizza was not burnt it was cooked. In fact as soon as I walked in the store, he started taking videos of me. I flipped the pizza over and showed him that it indeed was overdone. He flipped over a couple slices of other pizzas and said it's cooked not burnt! Well, most of the pieces he flipped over were overdone in my opinion, but one of them was Brown and I indicated that's the way I would like my pizza could you cook it again? He said he was not cooking it and started taking continued taking videos of me. He said I was just trying to bring down the business. I explained that is not my intent that I just wanted the pizza redone and I will be on my merry way. I post plenty of reviews and my intention is never to post a negative review unless the business has earned it. This business has earned my bad review because of their service and their ambush . I just wanted a pizza do over, but instead I was met with anger and told never to come in their store again. If you order out enough eventually, you will have a Food that doesn't meet your expectations and has to go back. This is the first time that I have ever had a business not try to make good and banned me from coming back. Very sad but they truly do not have to worry about me, gracing them with my presence or dollars again ever again. read more

I've only ever had their cheesesteaks but they're by far the best in the area since I've moved here!! They're quick, friendly, and my order is always made right!! I go at least 3-4 times a week, I'd definitely give it a try! read more

I ordered the 14" calzone with sausage. Upon arriving home and began consuming the calzone, I noticed that there was no sausage in the first few bites. I decided to cut it open and see where the sausage was located. The sausage was slightly bigger than a quarter, and very few pieces scattered around the calzone. I did not want a cheese sandwich, so I threw it away. I wont be shopping here anymore . read more

Came here for the 1st time for lunch. Ordered the lunch special, 6 wings+fries+soda for $9.99. I opted to have the sauce on the side (since i had wings from the BelAir location where the wings were fried hard) These wings are more baked and then put under a boiler. There weren't crispy or fried hard at all. Perhaps I should ask next time. Came with a big bag of fries and medium sized fountain drink. Pepsi products. The guy making the pizza wasn't wearing gloves. read more

Very good pizza and service. They are consistently good. The pizza reminds me of good ole NYC pizza with great cheese, rich sauce and the crust baked to perfection. read more

A cool local intimate pizza spot where you can catch a quick bite. I wouldn't say date night worthy unless it's a really chilled laid back I'm not trying to impress date lol. Most definitely cool for hang out and local regulars as the workers/owner seems to know everybody's name like Cheers. I ordered the bbq wings which were really good. They were crispy on the outside which I like and moist juicy chicken meat under. Most places back their wings which makes the whole wing soggy yuuuuuuuck! It tasted like they baked it in the bbq sauce to give it flavor then turned it up to give that crunch crispy exterior which I definitely appreciated. The sauce along with the Blue Cheese made this meal a winner. The chunks of cheese in almost every scoop of a LARGE side container made me happy. As a wing dipper I like to dip almost every part of the wing in the Blue cheese but most places give you such a small container. You guys are the real MVP for looking out for wing dippers me lol. All in all a cool place to get some wings and I saw some subs, calzones and pizza I would like to try. You can tell the way they move that dough behind the counter and Italian accents your gonna get a good mix of authentic Italian food. I would come back and let's be clear as a NY'er I'm very particular when it comes to my pizza. So that says a lot lol. read more

Best cheese steak around! I've been getting one from them almost weekly for the past 17 years. Nothing around comes close. I really wish other take out places would get their shit together and create a similar quality product. Generous portions of meat, not greasy at all, bread is toasted, never soggy with delivery. Marinated mushrooms and provolone, that's it. Outside of mcgirks Philly bar in federal hill, this might be the best cheese steak take out joint around read more

Place went downhill with new ownership. There is almost no steak on the sub when asked the owner he said to open the sandwich to check. Come on the steak needs to be falling out of a cheesesteak sub like it has for years with the old owner. Stay away and go to BOLI'S read more

Do yourself a favor and get the Greek salad with an extra side of dressing. The dressing is incredible and I go out of my way to order Vito's salad + a slice of margarita pizza every time I come back to this area. I have yet to love a Greek salad anywhere as much as I love the one here at Vito's express. I know you will too! read more

I thought the cheesesteak was great. It had plenty of meet, but not too much. The Italian cold cut was good as well.

I will never go back to this carry out. Ordered a salad with no Onions. Took salad to work & it had onions. I called & the owner or manager was not in. Still told them what happened & they said to stop back. I returned and they didn't care about my allergy to onions or that fact that the order had onions. Terrible costumer service If you buy food here Eat at your own risk Because they don't care read more

Great pizza and sandwiches and most of the guys are very pleasant. Just get rid of the sloppy delivery guy that talks too much and looks like a mess he's not a good reflection on the place. Also his delivery service is ridiculous I could drive there 10 times and back before he could find his way on time to deliver. read more

This used to be my absolute favorite location for cheesesteaks from like 2013-2017! Lately i have been going to the Vito's on Reisterstown road bc I'm not sure if this location is under new management or what (i haven't seen any of the workers that used to work there when i was a regular). However, i have been there about 3 times or so this year and each time my order has been messed up. Something as simple as no tomatoes, or extra toasted bread they can't even do. Thank God for the other location because this one has really gone downhill. The cheesesteaks don't even taste the same as they used to do anymore read more

First time at this location and it exceeded my expectations. My cheese steak was absolutely amazing. Perfectly toasted with fresh topping and juicy steak pieces. My fries were crispy and delicious. Finally, my slice of pepperoni was superb. Perfectly toasted dough and the cheese melted in my mouth. Highly recommended. read more

Steak sub decent, French fries good. They didn't use gloves however to cook, yuck! I need to type more per Yelp

We have been going to Vito's for years. Some days are better than others. We ordered a Sicilian Pizza, thought we'd try something new. No one felt like cooking, it was late. Picked it up and when we all sat down together each of us (4) took a couple of bites and decided that this was the worst pizza we had ever had. We called to complain about the taste and asked for them to replace it with a regular pie. They refused and said we would have to pay for the pie. I understand things are hard for restaurants during this COVID time. They are difficult for all of us. They should have stood behind their product and done the right thing. We will never go to Vito's again after 20 years. Not how a restaurant should treat a customer. Very disappointing. First bad review we have ever written. Not our way. We had very little in the house and had to pull something together at a late hour. Not fun. read more

Not sure what the deal is with this place but it seems like every time I order from here it get's worse and worse. IMHO a pizza with no, or very little, sauce is not a pizza. They also need to step up their quality with their Cheese steaks. read more

I have been coming to Vito's for years and it is always super fast to get food and the people that work there are always friendly! My favorite thing is their subs - they are delicious and their greek salad is also yummy. I like how much variety they have in their pizzas and they are pretty huge slices. It's also super fast for carry-out orders. Yum! read more

I used to come here all the time in my younger years. I refused to ever go back after my last visit. Let me tell you that when I am served frozen food that I can buy at the grocery store and repeatedly told that it is homemade, I won't give my business to a place that does that. It's a shame because I loved the pizza here growing up. Oh well, if you want a cheap meal for a low price, I suggest heading to Fortunato Brothers on York Rd. read more

Vito's has decent cheesesteak and really good fries and onion rings. I do love their pizza and like the fact that I can get it by the slice.
