I have been coming here for a few years mainly for a slice of pizza because it's really good and the gentlemen workers have always been nice too. But there's a new girl there- the cashier. She has the worst attitude and she makes it an unpleasant experience. I was there twice this week and the first time the soda machine was stuck, and it was overflowing on my cup, and I was telling her and she just looked at me with this dead look like I was the biggest bother in her life and today I went to get pizza and she is just rude. Her whole affect is rude. She stares you down like what do you want? I was sitting under the TV waiting for my order and she used the remote control to turn the volume up super loud-why? We stopped past this pizza restaurant after my kids sports game for a quick bite. This is my second time visiting this restaurant. We dined in the restaurant and ordered our food. It was a lot of foot traffic coming in and out of the restaurant. We ordered a large extra cheese pizza, chicken caesar wrap which I would not recommend at all, fries along with fountain drinks. The cheese pizza was very good and cheesy. The restaurant was very clean and welcoming along with being family friendly. There is table seating and small table top seating as well. I've been a fan of Vito's Subs and Pizza for a long time, and I can't believe I haven't written a review until now! Their subs, pizza, and fries are consistently delicious, and I was thrilled to see that they've remodeled the place--it looks amazing! The customer service is always friendly and welcoming, which makes every visit enjoyable. I did take off one star because my cheesesteak sub felt a bit light on the meat this time around, which was surprising since I haven't been since the pandemic. Known for the thin crust pizza, especially the Buffalo chicken, and it's proximity to Stevenson U, this place does it quickly and well. Love the pizza although I'm more a cheese or pepperoni fan. Always happy with fast as the pies are out and serving doesn't take long. Staff is always friendly. More of a to go place with limited seating in the area. I ordered a pizza and a salad. The place looks nice and clean and the service is friendly and quick. However, the pizza is mediocre or, if you prefer, tasteless. Only the crust is somewhat memorable. It's kind of like the Times Square Kitchen situation where the pizza there was really bad but the crust was really good. In this case the pizza is not horrible, just middling, while the crust is not great, just good. The salad also felt like just a bunch of stuff stacked high. Most of it was, again, tasteless and not particularly good or bad. Except for the olives - not only did they taste quite bad, but they had the pit in them. I haven't been here in years, but my Husband bought some Pizza and Subs Home from them recently and I remembered how good they were. I was in the area and after a long day of shopping I remembered them, Lol. I had a taste for Pizza so I got the Pepperoni and my Husband got The Gourmet Pizza which is Pepperoni, Mushrooms and Sausage. I also ordered Old Bay Wings and was so disappointed that they were to hard to eat! They fried them super hard and could barely bite into one, so I ended up wasting my money on them. After passing by Vito's a number of times and wondering how it was, I finally took the opportunity tonight to try it out. I had heard good things and have to say, Vito's sure lived up to the compliments. It was previously in a different spot but within the same shopping center (St. Thomas). I ordered the 8" Cheesesteak Sub (no hot peppers) which was $9.99! Since I can't have red meat, I'd say I've had a good variety of chicken cheesesteaks locally. This particular one came out quickly and was SO tasty! Everything was seasoned well and my favorite part was all the onions on it. They do finely chopped onions which is great for me! Otherwise, it had mayo, lettuce, tomato, cheese and the chicken meat. I feel like that price is a bargain for a great sub! Next time I'm gonna try the eggplant Parmesan sub and a slice of pizza as well! After a very positive first impression, I'll certainly be returning soon! I ordered a cheesesteak with just American with no other toppings (in the special instructions section and said please). It came with everything on it, and I can't eat it. I called the restaurant and the man I spoke with looked at my order, saw my instructions, and said, "It is what it is." No apology for ignoring my instructions and sending me food I can't eat. He also told me to lie to Door Dash and tell them it never arrived so I could get a refund. I had already told them what actually happened and got a refund for the sub but not the $10 tip I gave the dasher. He told me to see if Door Dash would send another driver to get a new sub, but then I'd have to tip that driver too! I've been going here for over 25 years, and just about every time I order 2 slices of pepperoni and large fries. It's probably one of the closest pizzas I've had to NYC pizza (as I type this, I'm getting hungry for it!) Can't speak for the subs and other stuff, but it looks good. read more

Been to this place a couple times prior, food is nice and never had any problems. Until today, a few minutes ago. Ordered through door dash, my order came as meat-sauce instead of the mariana I ordered. Wasn't that big of a deal, wasn't what I ordered but I just wanted to call to let them know it was wrong, and to maybe check that next time. I called and got a gentleman who I tried twice to explain things to, but just cut me off twice saying "excuse me" loudly in the middle of me trying to explain. So I told him I didn't appreciate being cut-off like that and since this wasn't working over the phone I guess I'd have to come down in person. I did not long after, spoke to the same person who told me "that's marinara" I opened the clear top of the carry out and showed him it had meat. So after I had to go through all this now, when I wasn't initially even going to ask for anything and take the high road here, I ended up asking for a re-made order or a refund. As he's handing me the cash he said "I spoke with someone earlier over the phone, who was that" I said "me" he repeated the question (mind you I'm standing in front of him, no barrier or anything) I raised my hand to make it obvious. He said I was very rude and we proceeded to get into an argument, despite him having been rude before over the phone, and the fact I hadn't even brought it up when I went in the place. We both stuck to our guns, I left the cash on the counter and told him it wasn't even about the money, but I had had enough. My wife likes the place and the food is good, she'll probably order again, but dammit, I won't. What an ordeal for some penne mariana. Skip this place and the staff if you ask me, not worth it.
