I was really looking forward to eating here but I was a little concerned with the person who was cooking my pizza her entire midsection was showing. Her stomach was rubbing up against the table where she was picking up the pizzas. I saw her adjust her shirt with bare hands not wash hands and go straight to the pizza oven. I simply asked if that was sanitary. The girl got a complete attitude with me. And proceeded to say that it wasn't a health violation and argued with me. Well I feel uncomfortable having somebody rub their stomach against my pizza thank you very much and we're in the middle of a pandemic. This person has no business showing their midsection at work and she should be wearing an apron. No one wants to see it! I was excited to eat here too bad they are not sanitary. I looked up health code and food handlers need to have proper coverage to reduce food contamination. The way those employees treated me in front of other customers is atrocious. Especially when I knew what I was talking about and only looking out for them. So rude! read more

Great food with a neat concept... kind of a "subway" style pizza place where you select all the ingredients for your pizza as you go through the line. Can be slow getting through the line. A suggestion that might relieve the ordering bottleneck would be to make available small ordering sheets with an item checklist so people in line can complete their order and have it ready when they get to the front of the line. If I see it's busy, I won't even stop because the wait is too long! read more

Today was my first time trying MOD pizza and I LOVED IT! The food was so good! I got my own personalized pizza with the cinnamon bread and it was all good! The staff had great costumer service too and asked me right away if I was new and explained the whole menu to me! As much as I like the pizza's from here, I don't think I will be going back. It seems that a few hours after I eat here I have stomach pains/upset stomach. It has also happened to the people I've gone in to eat with too. Either there is cross contamination or food that has gone past the due date because it is not normal to feel this bad after eating a pizza. I feel like the place could be a cleaner too. Overall the experience I had at MOD pizza was a complete success from beginning to end. It was my first time and the worker was not only patient but gave me some great ideas that made my pizza even better. Not only that but the other customers talked to me and made me feel comfortable even though j took a bit longer with my order. I had my first experience at MOD this past Tuesday and I must say the cinnamon sticks are much better than Pieologys. The line members are also very kind and get the order to the par. When I first walked in, I was greeted by all the members even those who weren't even looking at the door! It's like they can sense when a customer walks in the door. I felt really welcomed. Poor customer service. They were too worried to rush us through. Pizza crust was burnt for all 3 pizzas. My pizza had plenty of toppings and still little flavor. My wife and I were excited to try Mod Pizza in Morgan Hill. A short line, turned out to take a long time, to actually get our order taken. They work in to go orders, which really slows down the process. My wife ordered a pizza and a salad. 2 different people prepared her order. They both asked her questions, about each item, at the same time. The woman, who looked like a supervisor, got perturbed when my wife was unable to answer both her, and the other employee, simultaneously. This is absolutely the worst MOD pizza place. Their management is horrendous. Two weeks ago I came with my family to eat and there was a massive line which was okay due to the fact it's dinner. The people who were making our pizzas were doing a really great job and communicating well and working really fast. However I didn't appreciate two of your workers who had star prints makeup on and pink hair who kept yelling at the three workers. The two workers were screaming, "COMMUNICATE COMMUNICATE" to the poor employees. Then they also said, "I'm going to put you three in a time out or put you in the corner." I felt so bad that I had to ask the three people who were making our pizzas if they were okay & that they are doing a great job and the people behind ask the same thing. It made my kids uncomfortable and I as well. The pizzas were delicious but the tension from the two rude workers yelling at the people who was making the pizzas was just plain rude and embarrassing. I came in the next 3 days and I was at chili's having dinner with my son and I saw a man with a MOD shirt with cool colored tattoos drinking beer. Im thinking okay he's off but right after dinner I went to go pick up my daughters pizza and I see the same guy cooking my kid pizzas as we wait. I was appalled because I just saw him drinking at chili's and now he's back to work. It's just really uncomfortable to see him cooking my kid pizza. I had never been to MOD before. 1st time. There were 5 of us including 3 kids. Everything was so yummy and fresh. They let me take the time to ask questions when I was in line since it was my first time there, gave some recommendations,then checked up on us to make sure we liked our selections. I like this place but today was a bad experience. Employees seemed in a hurry and were extremely impatient with my 8 year old daughter who likes ordering her own pizza. I wasn't really pleased with the cashier handling money and pizza dough without washing his hands. I saw this action twice. The person handling the oven frequently touched pizza before placing it inside to cook as well. At least he wasn't handling money. The food was ok. Not sure why the online ordering only had one hour as the earliest pick up time. Too bad they didn't have an earlier pick up time option. The ingredients on the pizza were fresh but all three pizzas that I ordered had under cooked dough, so the pizzas ended up soggy and slightly wet. Stopped by this yummy pizza place on the way back from Gilroy Gardens and was very impressed. The store was clean and the employees incredibly helpful (especially given that it was 10 minutes before close and we ordered two pizzas). It was so helpful that you can choose exactly the toppings you wanted without having to worry about them costing $2 a topping. My husband ordered the gluten free crust -- something other pizza places do NOT do well - Mod pizza got it perfect. Best Gluten Free crust we have had. The pizzas were perfectly prepared. On a side note their pizza box has a top that is independent from the bottom. This seems a small thing, but it is so helpful to be able to hold the box without the lid flapping in the next person's face. Great overall experience. We will be back. read more

First time going to this chain and I really recommend it. It's fast and reasonably priced. Great for kids. 5$ for a "make your own" pizza with unlimited toppings. The topping choices were plentiful and fresh. It was nice because we each got to have our own pizza the way we individually like it. i didn't have a beer or wine, but the cost is $5 as well. If anyone says they do not like this place, question your friendship to them. This is the best pizza I have found in the Bay Area. It's fast, fresh, and the toppings are awesome. Thin crust is the norm here, they have great beers available as well as sodas and some great lemonades. The place is always clean and the staff is always really nice. I love that I can cook my own pizza and best of all? you can put any toppings you want and it's the same price. I made this delicious pizza with white sauce, bacon and chicken with all the veggies I wanted... and it was so good and so worth it!
