Came in around 10:30 PM, only 30 minutes before closing, and the staff was more than happy to serve us! They even invited us to dine in and enjoy our food until 11. The two girls and the guy working were all so attentive, uplifting, and had such positive attitudes, especially considering it was right before closing. They were super speedy with our order while still making us feel welcomed. I also really appreciated how accommodating they were when we shared that we had gluten and dairy allergies. They immediately offered to change their gloves and equipment to help prevent cross-contact. It was our first time trying MOD Pizza, and we had such a great experience. We'll definitely be back again! read more

I went on a Thursday night around 8, and I received wonderful service from the workers there. They were super patient and kind and helped answer all of my questions about the toppings and the sauces. I loaded up a build your own mod pizza with sooo many toppings, and they accommodated me by piling it up high. Highly recommend this location! read more

MOD Pizza - Menu - Pizza Near Me - Los Angeles, California

My first Mod Pizza experience was about 10 years ago down in Irvine. A great concept, unlimited toppings on a thick or thin 11" pizza crust. They have a great selections of meats and veggies as well as finishing sauces and after cooking veggies like arugula! I luv thin crust pizza. My recommendation, don't pile on too much. If you do, ask them to oven bake it for a little longer than usual so that crust can hold up to the weight! Plus, i don't mind a few slightly charred areas. An 11" pizza is awesome for 2, but it's ok to have one all to yourself once in a while! In addition to their pizzas, they also make salads and have a few dessert items as well. Their coolers have beer and wine and good selection of sodas and drinks at the soda fountains. The Palms/Culver City location has plenty of parking and seating both inside and out. My favorite on a pizza btw is sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms and onions! read more

MOD Pizza - Regular pizza - Pizza Near Me - Los Angeles, California

This place has excellent pizza. Just hands down delicious. The awesome thing is that you can make your own. The toppings, sauce, and cheese selection are extensive and whatever floats your boat is probably here. I got garlic cloves (among other things on mine) and that really leveled up my pizza experience. They serve wine and beer. Salads are their next biggest thing on the menu with the same sort of build your own thing going. Service was quiet and efficient. Appreciation also goes out to the restaurant for giving back 25% to the local middle school on that particular evening. Why not more stars? Ambiance. It's right on Venice Blvd which is noisy and agro all times of day. Seating inside is not comfy, you certainly don't feel like lounging around and chatting with friends, and the AC is super high so I was too cold and ended up choosing outside. read more

Food is good. It's like a subway where you can see all the fresh ingredients and how they assemble your pizza. They have 2 options; a mini 6 in or Mod 11 in in thin or thick crust & they have a few different salad options. We had the Tristan pizza and a Greek salad. The service was good. The establishment is unkept and dirty. read more

MOD has been a good spot for quick pizza. But on 6/5 they did not deliver on the service started with a dropped pizza and then lost two other pizzas (someone just extra on the Togo order. A simple concept, build your own pizza with unlimited toppings. I love this spot because it's fast, and the pizza is always fresh, warm, and perfectly crispy. No matter how many toppings I add, it never gets soggy. I usually grab some ranch on the side, and it's perfect. I've been here multiple times and have never had a bad experience! Plenty of parking! Yummy!!! read more

MOD Pizza - Drooling - Pizza Near Me - Los Angeles, California

Been coming here for a long time and love it here. The staff is great, the food is delicious, and they always nail cooking it. Don't be fooled by negative comments. People come here and act like jerks to the staff, and get WAY TOO MUCH on their pizza and then complain when it isn't cooked all the way through or "isn't crispy" These folks do a great job. I hope they're around for a long, long time. read more

You guys! You have to try the chocolate goodness that is the "No Name Cake." It is a Ding Dong on steroids! It's huge, decadent, deliciousness with every mouth watering bite. I ordered through post mates because I couldn't leave what I was working on and needed a little something sweet to get me through the work day. Let me tell you! This hit the spot! No, I didn't order food, just dessert, so I can't speak to their pizzas but I can definitely speak to their desserts which I highly recommend. Give it a try and thank me later. Bon appétit! read more

Honestly, I love pizza but this place I don't know it just isn't it. Everything taste just bland with no flavor definitely not worth the 16+ dollars for an 8 inch personal pizza sorry guys won't be returning. read more

They got the oven too high in the Long Beach town center location (which can burn the bottom but leave the toppings undone). If I wanted salad on a burnt crust I would have ordered that. Sweet staff though although they can't handle a line. read more

I'll say this place deserves a 4 out of 5 but here's how I rank it compared to other build your own pizza shops: 1) Pizza Studio 2) Pizza Rev 3) Mod 4) better off ordering dominos or any chain pizza except Pizza Hut 5) Blaze Pizza 6) order Pizza Hut read more

omg! For me... I can't have pizza anywhere but at MODs. I love that I can put as many ingredients on my pizza and it's cook right before my eyes. I enjoy a beer well I wait for my pizza, then I take it home and enjoy every bite. read more

First, the service is lacking - the counter people need a sense of urgency and maybe personality - at least pretend to like your job. The food is decent - not a bad cauliflower crust pizza, but they could do a little better in their toppings and honestly way overpriced compared to their competition (Blaze is better, cheaper and great topping choices) frankly, I wasn't impressed and wish I was since this is convenient to get to. read more

pizza is fine and atmosphere is also fine but the service is horrendous. the guy with an angel wing tat on his neck helping you make the pizza is a total jerk. he takes his job at the pizza parlor very very seriously and if u don't understand what he said he'll make u feel so embarrassed about it read more

5 stars well earned , the ambiance was perfect upon walking in and the service was outstanding. It didn't feel like a forced service it truly felt genuine this team has the secret sauce of knowing how to treat people. The way I was greeted and assisted while my pizza was built was definitely memorable. When I got home the pizza was amazing perfect crisp and flavor , paired it well with one of the cream sodas that were in the beverage section. I definitely will be returning to MOD Pizza, Well done you've made a returning customer. read more

Pizzas are almost always delicious. Salads are solid as well. Service is warm and welcoming about 3/4 of the time. Occasionally, it's surprisingly rude. You can also expect to endure some ear-melting noises from time to time. In general, if you need a quick pizza and salad fix, MOD does the trick. Just don't be surprised by the occasionally awful attitudes. read more

Mod pizza is always good! They didn't run out of any of the toppings when we came. I like how they have different toppings compared to other build your own pizza places. My bf and I split the pizza so we chose our own toppings for our side. We signed up for the app so we got the free cake reward. The guy at the register was having a hard time with processing the reward and he wanted to just give up on us which wasn't nice. read more

Very stingy on adding cheese and the cauliflower pizza was terrible. Tasted like a cardboard box. Wasn't good at all

I dont eat pork and it was my 1st time there. Nick explained how the pizza making worked and suggested lots of meat options along with yummy toppings that go together. Coming from the east coast I'm not sure I'll ever find pizza as good as the little Italian shops there. However, for a chain, their pizza is solid. I got a thick crust and I liked that they let you choose how cooked you want it to be because I like mine a little softer instead of very crispy. When I arrived to pick up my order the staff was great, they gave me an order update and had some friendly conversation. It definitely is more of a grab and go place but somewhere I would visit again. Also, if it's a nice day out there are tables outside and it's in a small plaza so parking is generally pretty easy. read more

SO much better than a frozen pizza and a frozen CPK pizza costs the same or more! They're very quick here, and you can get exactly what you want. Husband picks up, and I believe he orders the spicy marinara, spicy sausage (it's not greasy), red onion. It's delicious. We also get a salad. We go every third week or so. There's a parking lot right there and for us at least it's not far, and the pizza is still hot when he gets home. Also much better than, say, Dominos, which we quit years ago as it just did not seem like actual food. The Mod is like what you'd make at home. Thumbs up. read more

Nothing worse than getting to see your pizza being made in front of you, then to get home and open the wrong pizza. Of all the pizza mix-ups that could happen, I had to get a meat one. By the time I pick all the meat off, there isn't going to be any cheese left. And no way to accidentally mix up with the person behind me. Sorry to the Dad, who got my veggie pizza. Please Staff, triple check the tag and the pizza. read more

I placed an order online for pickup - it was easy peasy! Finished orders are placed on a long table against the window in alphabetical order. I basically made a create-your-own pizza with damn near all the veggies, dairy-free cheese, and grilled chicken + spicy chicken sausage. I also got a side of pesto and Mike's hot honey... BRUH. The hot honey was amazinggggg on the pizza. Definitely a game changer and I will not have it any other way going forward. Great and quick customer service, as well. This is a hard because the Pizza is great though the service fell very very short of great! Snarky employees with little to no customer service. I walked in, stood in line for 10 to 15 min before anyone even acknowledged I was waiting for food.
