    THE MOM
    Nemrah A.

This is my first time trying this place and I got to say it's become one of my favorite pizza places in LA! The shop itself is small with a couple of outside seating so it's more of a takeout spot. We got the mom which is one of their vegetarian pizzas. We got it well done which was the right move as the crust was very crunch while the inside was wonderfully doughy. The toppings tasted fresh and my favorite part was the crush tomatoes. I will definitely come back here when I travel to LA again

Little Dynamite is officially my new favorite pizza spot! We've been wanting to try this place forever and finally made it in -- and wow, it absolutely lived up to the hype. Their sourdough crust is incredible, and the square pizzas are perfection. I got the cheese with black olives, and my fiancé had the pepperoni -- seriously, everything was perfect. Ken and Lynette were so friendly and helpful, the kind of people who instantly make you feel welcome and make you want to come back. We sat inside this little cozy spot and enjoyed every bite. If you're thinking about trying Little Dynamite, just do it. We will definitely be back!

Well we wanted to try something different and in a new area. So.. we found this hole in the wall with decent reviews. Went in and found a tiny place, clean environment and polite workers tended to us right away. The food... well let's start with the $10 Cesar Salad. We were given a container of all greens. Meaning just lettuce. Good thing I'm Italian because a green salad is a green salad indeed. But here I ordered a Cesar salad. We were given a small container with dressing and what appeared to be tiny container of ball shaped Parmesan. No croutons. Well not given to us until it was almost done. Meh... didn't take a picture. It was a sad salad. TRUST' The pizza was small for the price. I have to say it wasn't bad, but was quite pricy for what you get. A lot of cheese too. The knots.. reheated knots that were not bad but rather chewy and hard. Not sure if that makes sense. All in all.. people were nice, place was clean. Food was... so, so .

I'd been wanting to try a pizza place in the area and decided to give this spot a try. After reading some reviews, I learned that I couldn't order online if I wanted to get half of one pizza and half of another. I should've called in, but I decided to order in person instead. Even on a Friday evening at 7pm, there was plenty of street parking, likely because there aren't many neighboring restaurants. Without a line, I was able to order right away, and I was told it would take 20-25 min. It was a small place with counter seating indoors, so I decided to take out. I ordered half Death Breath and half Hot Jimmy since those seemed to be the most popular options. For six slices, the price felt a bit steep at $35 ($38 after tax). The slices weren't thin, but not overly thick either, which felt like the perfect thickness for Detroit-style pizza. I really enjoyed the texture, as the pizza was soft and airy on the inside while still crispy on the outside. The Hot Jimmy was simple but still tasted gourmet, though I think I preferred the bolder flavors of the meat toppings and tomato sauce on the Death Breath. Both pizzas tasted good, but they were nothing spectacular. Overall, it was high-quality pizza. But I wish it was either cheaper or came with more slices for the price. As much as I'd like to try their other options, I'm not sure I can justify the cost.

Food was amazing! We got the Snooki, it was so good with the pepperoni and vodka sauce. Best garlic knots i've ever had. Also got a panookie-- i'm a baker and the cookie was excellent. Tasted homemade, was salty, sweet with the ice cream. Staff was so friendly! Must visit.

Little Dynamite has super pizza. You will love it. They have all different sorts of pizza with great toppings. You can get different sauces as well. They also have great meatballs and garlic knots. We love their thin and thick crust pizzas. The place is adorable. Not huge, but super clean and cute. We love to get takeaway from them. They also deliver. The prices are fair and you will not be disappointed. The service is very nice. They take my order over the phone usually and just pick up. It is ready when promised and it is hot. We just love this place.

Officially the best pizza in LA!! I can't get enough of this pizza. I have cheat day on Friday and I always use it on this place!! Needless to say it's addicting and delicious!!! Service is always amazing. They are truly consistent. The area is percect for a walk if you have to wait. Plenty of parking as well!

Burnt Nose Candy and background is the Shakedown with too much crust and uneven sauce distribution.

If you read any of my reviews, you'll see a majority of them are Pizza places and I pride myself in knowing a good pie when I have one. Having said that, I'm not sure why this place has such a high rating its 3 stars at best, especially for pizza in the area and price point. I ordered the Nose Candy, the Shakedown Street (both round pies) and an order of garlic knots. I'm sure service is fine if your dine there, but there's barely any seating to dine in. Its mostly a take out or delivery type place. So i'll say the shakedown street pie was alright in taste, but it was poorly made. Normally I like crust on a pizza, but it wasnt anything special here and this one had about 2" of it. The cheese and sauces were just all centered and unevenly distributed which made for an awkward pizza. I doubt thats how its normally made, but that really disrupted my experience. Then I ordered the Nose Candy and it barely had garlic on it, if any. Again poorly made and this one was burnt. So, not only did I not taste any garlic, but most of bites were just burnt crust. I also thought there was too much use of ricotta, but that may have been from the ones I ordered. Then there's the garlic knots, which I just ended up throwing out. I don't like to waste food, but these were inedible. They were overly dense and doughy, almost as if they didn't cook through. Very little garlic taste and doused with parmesan...just bad. Sucks to have such a crappy experience becuase i've been itching to try this place based on its reviews and it was a heavy disappointment. Most likely wont be coming back anytime soon, and I'm hesitant to try the Detroit style pies based on how the garlic knots came out, but I always give places a second chance, so hopefully next time its a much better experience.

HOT JIMMY (ROUND HAND TOSSED) DEATH BREATH

One of the best pizza spots on the west side, Little Dynamite checks all the boxes. Their specialty is Detroit style square pizzas, but they also make hand tossed, thin crust round pies. Either way, the bread is light and crispy. Each pie is topped with a generous amount of toppings. If you want a heavy meal, go with the square. If you want a light snack, order the round. There's enough variety that there is a pizza for everyone. I've tried: Hot Jimmy is the most unique pizza. It has italian sausage, mozzarella and honey. If you like sweet, this is for you Death breath is essentially meat lovers pizza elevated with whole roasted garlic. Delicious. Cowabunga is similar to death breath but replaces garlic with pineapple. The mom is an elevated combo/veggie pizza with whole roasted cherry tomatoes It's located in a small shop in Washington on the way to Venice. There's street parking and a small lot in the back. Service is quick and they can make a customized pizza in about 15 min. If you have a big order then best to call in ahead

Little Dynamite Pizza - 5 stars for the pies, not so much for the rolls We ordered the Hot Jimmy and Shakedown Street and let's just say... restraint left the chat. The Shakedown Street straight-up reignited our love for pesto--it was vibrant, garlicky, and had that perfect herby kick that makes you wonder why you ever strayed from pesto in the first place. Not ashamed to admit we housed both pizzas that night. Now for the garlic rolls... eh. Kind of dry, sadly. We wanted pillowy, buttery clouds and got more of a desert-dweller vibe. Would skip those next time and double down on the pizza instead. Bottom line: Little Dynamite lives up to the name. Just don't let the rolls distract you from the real stars.

Little Dynamite Pizza does Detroit-style pizza really well, especially if you like bold flavors. I went with the Detroit-style pepperoni with hot honey, and it delivers exactly what you want from this style. The pepperoni gets crispy with that snap, the crust is aggressively crispy (in the best way), and the hot honey brings just enough sweetness to balance the spice without taking over. It's rich, indulgent, and a little reckless, but still well executed. A very solid Detroit-style option in LA and one I'd happily come back to when I'm craving something loud and satisfying.

    Hot Mess (pepperoni, sausage, jalapeños).

If you like pan pizzas, loaded with toppings, Little Dynamite is excellent - expensive but you get easily two meals out of a normal 10" square pan pizza. The most simple pizzas are pretty affordable but cost goes up as soon as you start adding toppings. They do regular round pizzas too but haven't tried those yet. Just be aware pizza takes time, even more so when they get busy (which is often!) so this is not a place to go if you're in a hurry. Finally there's a bit of indoor and outdoor seating but not much. Not a place to expect to dine-in, especially if you're more than 3 people.

Half MASSIVE RIP, don't remember what the other half was

By far the best pizza I've ever had, massive rip is def something different but if you're a fan of pickles you'll love it, only down side is the massive rip is on the menu for a limited time. The staff were awesome too, if you're in the area you should def check it out!

Very sad to have missed last month's special pie :,(

    Do they have vegan cheese?

    Do they have seating?

They have a few counter stools to sit at, but not great for large groups.

When are you going to be available on DoorDash? I used to order that way from Bootleg about once a week. I'm ready! (And hopefully still in the delivery area.)

The list clearly favors organic and biodynamic producers, which I always appreciate--minimal intervention, letting the terroir and varietal speak without unnecessary manipulation. The flight format was flexible, offering around five selections with the option to choose three pours. I went with a sparkling red, an orange wine, and a white--each bringing its own personality to the table. The sparkling red was lively and slightly unconventional, the orange wine had that textured, skin-contact complexity, and the white rounded things out with a clean, expressive finish. Our server elevated the experience by guiding the tasting order, which made a noticeable difference in how each wine showed. It's always a good sign when the staff understands how to pace a flight rather than just drop it off and walk away. We didn't explore the food menu this time, so I can't speak to the full program, but purely from a wine perspective, it lands at a solid 4 stars for me. The space itself is ideal for a relaxed midday tasting--plenty of seating, with a great outdoor setup. The tall greenery creates a sense of privacy without feeling closed off, making it just as suitable for a casual date as it is for catching up with friends. Honestly, if you've got a flexible workday and don't need to be on camera, this is a pretty perfect spot to post up with a glass and ease into the afternoon.
