I never got the allure or cult status of places like Chik Fil A, Popeyes, or Raising Canes. Canes sauce is good but it kinda overwhelms the ok chicken. What I do like about Daves is that it is actually Hot chicken. Their reaper sauce which deserves a receipt signed waiver is crazy hot. One of my kids got it and he said "its ok, not super hot" cause he is nuts and doesn't recognize you can't eat lava which would be the only hotter option. He also practically drinks Da Bomb from Hot Ones and that is just Cray Cray. I opted for the Extra Hot on my sandwitch endeavor and did the same for a the Chicken bites which was $8 for a 10 Piece with bread, pickles and sauce. Not to shabby for the quality of the food. The Daves sauce is great and their ranch is so so, something about packaged ranch is never great compared to a pub ho made ranch. The chicken is crispy when fresh and has a slight sweet flavor with some good heat that adds up the more you eat. I will regret it later. The pickles are crisp and tangy and add a good means to cut the fat, especially when added to the bread with a chicken bit dipped in Daves sauce. The Service has been great both times an they really make it feel like more of a sit down experience than brushing you off as some fast foodie. I really like the way they decorate the building with some interesting art and the inside carries that over with an inviting seating area for great fast food ambiance if you are going to eat in, which I likely wont do as it is generally busy and close quarters for my claustraphobic brain. I would recommend the reaper sauce if you want an adventure as it is tasty but deadly . I dont like fast food in general as I get older, but this is a great option to feed some fried hot chicken craving even if you have to deal with some self loathing on the toilet later.

Fast food? Maybe not quite as fast as expected…read more I went through the drive-thru around 4:00 PM on a Wednesday, and there was one car in front of me. I ordered the new large popcorn chicken and then waited... and waited... and waited a little more. It took roughly 15 minutes before the car in front of me got their order, which seemed like quite a long time for what appeared to be just one bag with one food container inside. I'm not sure what took so long, but I figured maybe they were having a busy moment. It wasn't in the dining room from what I could see. When I got my "large" popcorn chicken, I was a little surprised by the size of the container and not in a good way. After opening it, I also noticed that more than a third of it was basically fried batter rather than chicken. For $8.99, I was hoping for a little more chicken and less pieces of breading. The popcorn chicken itself was decent, but between the wait and the portion, it just wasn't quite what I expected.

The tofu was semi cooked, not enough Waba sauce . Not enough vegetables even when you ask for more . I don't mind paying extra but at least try to put some extra in that bowl please. Even the pick up people asked for more Waba sauce and was told they ran out. Hmm. I deleted the Waba app and not coming back. Zero stars.

The only thing negative I have to say about the In-N-Out chain is to how they prepare their Animal style fries... fresh potatoes fried, but then microwaved to melt the cheese is the reason why the potatoes immediately lose their crunch. So do yourself a favor and order normal fries and just get an extra side of spread because it's not worth it to lose out on the quality french fry. Order the onions EVERY WAY and you'll have three different types and put that extra cheese on there for a patty melt like type dream. Go big or go home, add those chopped chilies. Glory be to God, follow the yellow brick arrow and click your red heels three times.. while the line may be long, it is no different than the time you waste at Chick-fil-A or standing in line at the grocery store while you have to watch everyone else ring up their own groceries before you have an opportunity to play cashier yourself. Stop complaining, eat the bread and order the 3x3. If you are not burning carbs, order it protein style. The staff is usually pretty well put together, and that line never stops moving. You will never change my mind about the subject. Stay healthy kids.

Double lane drive through. Double the fun.

MOD Pizza is always a solid option when I'm looking for a quick and easy lunch without sacrificing flavor. I ordered a personalized individual pizza with pepperoni and veggies, and of course, I had to add my favorite finishing touch--a drizzle of ranch right over the top. It just makes the pizza for me! I also grabbed a side salad, which was a nice addition to balance out the pizza and make the meal feel a little more complete. Overall, this was exactly what I was looking for: a fresh, customizable pizza, a quick lunch, and an easy experience. Nothing overly complicated just a good, reliable spot when the pizza craving hits. read more
