Because the menu says put unlimited toppings, I went overboard. By the simplicity of Signature base, I added roasted garlic and green bell peppers. Pizza came out pretty fast. I also ordered a lemonade. It tasted like freshly squeezed, but know it's not. lol The employees were friendly and restaurant was clean. I'll be back for more pizzas. read more

Not many places do this. The service was good with one exception. I love the fact that for one standard price you can get unlimited amount of toppings and customize the pizza according to your liking. To start off with your choice of crust, add any seasoning or garnishing, cheese and sauces, followed with toppings. My boyfriend and I decided to create two pizzas - a cauliflower crust and a regular crust pizza both with their spicy red pizza sauce and selected our toppings. When we got our pizzas, they tasted brunt and we couldn't taste any of the spicy red pizza sauce, when they were preparing our pizzas we even requested for additional sauce. I love Mod Pizza in general. The customization to the pizzas all for the same price is really hard to beat. Also healthier than other pizza places. However, my experience at this Mod location was only ok. COVID measures: they're doing a great job with this. All the workers are wearing masks and every other table is blocked off to allow people to eat in store if they'd like. They also have plastic coverings between you and the workers to protect both sides. The only thing I was mostly disappointed about was the lack of veggies available at this location. They didn't have broccoli or spinach or many other veggies, like they have at other locations. They also didn't have containers for crushed red peppers (you have to ask for this separately if you remember), oregano, or parmesan to top the pizzas, which they usually have put out by the drinks station. That was a little bit of a bummer. In addition, I also ordered the cheesy garlic bread, which turned out to just be a pizza that they add garlic, basic, and cheese too, which was a little disappointing because they used the thin crust pizza for that but usually garlic bread is more fluffy, so thought they would have used their thick crust option for that. I don't know what is up everyone's behind today. Currently witnessed an employee fighting with a customer bc they left their pizza getting cold and didn't call them for minutes after. They gaslit her, I saw her waiting a long time. Then the first guy creating pizza has the most deadpan stare at you and told me verbatim that "I messed up the pesto sauce." It didn't look good so I decided against it. Then the next guy in charge of cheese asked me "do you just want the spicy sausage " I was still on sauce so I replied "huh" then he said "do you want it or not" then picked a piece of spinach off the metal parts of the trays and placed it on my pizza. I asked to have it removed then he said "I got it from the spicy sauce area" duh why would I want a piece of spinach that travelled three spots to be placed on my pizza. He had an attitude with me that I didn't deserve nor asked for. And as I finish this review the workers are all still bad mouthing the customer that left minutes ago. Ruining the atmosphere for everyone. She needs to read the sign placed above her. "What matters most is what you do next." I came here every week. Now I will never come back. Very nice clean . Listened to what I wanted on my order worked well as a team to not let the line build up. Ingredients looked fresh and everything looked organized. I really love build your own pizza at MOD. They put as much and as many veggies/meats you want. Being a vegetarian myself I get a lot of options to add on my pizza but sometimes feel it could be better if there were more veggie proteins. I have been to over 10 Mod pizza establishments and have never had anything but highest reviews for any of them. This place is the exception to that. Although the woman who served us was friendly and kind, she did not know what she was doing. Didn't even give us a chance to tell her what kind of pizzas we were ordering. Couldn't remember requests for even one minute. Parking was difficult. The place was dirty everywhere including the handling of food. Saw her touch door handle and then our food with same gloves. She chose to do my gluten free pizza in the middle of the two non gluten free ones in our order. Did not ask if I wanted her to switch gloves like most Mod locations do. My husband had wanted a salad as well but was so frustrated by the time the pizzas were done that he gave up. There are several locations of Mod in Houston. whoop! This is by far the nicest mod in the Houston area I've ever been to because the staff here really knows what they're doing. I live by the galleria so it's not too far from where I live. Today I went in to get a mod and I was a little crunched for time. There was a line but I didn't take longer than a couple minutes to build my mod, check out, get my drink and sit down. By that time my pizza was nearly ready and when it came out it was delicious. I've Been to some mods where the bottom crust is too soft or flimsy but the one from this location was crispy light brown around the outside.. the oven guy knows what he's doing. On top of that the GM Izzy made her rounds to the few guest that decided to eat in house to see how everything turned out. Customize your pizza to your heart's content. It's like the Subway of pizza. You choose all of your ingredients and you have unlimited toppings for the same price so you can stack it on there as much as you'd like. If you're not the creative type, they also have some premade options you can go with. MOD has a decent parking lot so you shouldn't have a problem there. Same concept as Blaze Pizza, Inferno Pizza, Your Pie, and similar competitors. I ordered the MOD pizza with red sauce, mozzarella, pesto drizzle, oregano, cilantro, salami, pepperoni, spicy chicken sausage, beef sausage, grilled chicken, Canadian bacon, tomatoes, mushrooms, grape tomatoes, a lemon wedge, pineapple, olive oil, and a BBQ drizzle. Yup...I went all out. My basic friends were boring and didn't add much but I made up for it. They also have fresh lemonade (two different types), fresh sweet tea, and fresh unsweet tea. All of this in a casual environment. Normally, I'd give them four stars. I'm taking off a star for a deceiving practice. They offer both small and medium fountain drinks. When I was asked if I wanted a fountain drink, I said yes. They automatically give you the more expensive medium size without asking you. I didn't know they had two sizes until after I had paid and looked over the menu again. Rather than tricking customers, ask them if they would like a small or large or when they say yes, ask what size. It's not that hard and prevents you from nickle and diming customers. read more
