We were so pleased with our first visit and consequently returned for a number of visits, all with the same excellent results. Unfortunately, the service since those first few months has taken a very steep and persistent decline. Walking in, the impression is that the staff is having a collective social hour and have been rudely interrupted by the customer. While waiting for our completed order, it now appears incumbent upon the customer to request their pizza rather than being called for it, the entire wait time being ignored completely. While this was a well oiled machine upon opening and for some time thereafter, it never appears that there is a person in charge or an organized process amongst any of the staff. Were the product not so good, we would have ceased going months ago, but our patience has run thin and if things don't improve, we will no longer be patrons. read more

I like the variety of toppings, that they are fresh, and the pizza is the same price regardless of the toppings. It's great to feel like you're getting all the flavors you like. I do have a problem with the staff bunching all the toppings in the middle of the pizza. I've ordered in person two times, and specifically asked the staff people to distribute the toppings as close to the crust as possible, and still they piled the toppings disproportionately in the middle. Very little flavor on the outer perimeter of the pizza. Two other times I ordered online and put that instruction in the special instructions box. Same result. It's unbelievable. It's like they hire people from McDonalds who just flip all the ingredients in a pile. I've only been to the Mod Pizza in Glen Mills, so I don't know if their other restaurants do the same thing. read more

I feel as things have changed but not for the better! We used to LOVE MOD pizza when we were closer, went regularly when we lived around the area and we were so excited that we were around our old stomping grounds that we decided to pick up a pizza on the way home. MOD staff are known for their normally upbeat and welcoming attitudes- at least that's what we were used to. Not this time. The vibe was completely different. We weren't greeted when we entered or even when we went to order. Our pizza was made with fresh topping, meat and sauce. Exactly how we wanted it. We went to pay. I handed the cashier my credit card and he asked me to sign without giving me a pen. I asked for a pen and he ignored me. I rifled through my bag to find one to sign the slip. But why not offer me a pen to sign the credit card slip? Or acknowledge when I ask? We get our pizza and go. We get home excited to eat our pizza and it's completely inedible. It's burnt to a crisp and barely even cut. Next time we'll spare the trouble and go to one of our other "home" spots. read more

Gave Mod a second chance and I'm glad I did. This time around, the experience was far better. First, the restaurant was quiet. The servers friendly and helpful. Ordered a Mod pizza and a Mod Caesar salad. The Mod pizza I ordered was a Margarita with enhancements. Every pizza is single priced so all extras are included. The Caesar I ordered was traditional. Took the food home. The pizza was very good. Nowhere near the best I've had but It was thin crust. It did taste great. Ravinisi nearby is better but they have limited days/hours and even more limited take out. The Caesar was disappointing. Wilted not crispy fresh lettuce, obviously out of a bag. I swung by here to pick up lunch on my way home from errands. I got an Ulysses pizza, a Mad Dog pizza, a small Cesar salad, and an iced tea for about $23. Service was fast- I was in and out in about 10 minutes. The iced tea was tasty, and I thought the pizza and salad were decent- not bad, but not amazing. The salad didn't have any croutons in it, which is my favorite part. But the location was convenient, park was easy, ingredients tasted fresh, and the pizza was well-priced. I'd definitely pick up dinner from here occasionally if I was driving past, but I'm not particularly in a hurry to come back for more. Worth checking out if you live nearby though! read more

Went for Lunch on a Friday. The place was packed but the line moves fairly quick and we didn't have to wait long for our food. I ordered a Caesar salad, which was great. I could sdd any additional toppings for the same price. My family got mod sized pizzas, which I sampled and were both good. I like that they have thin crust! Went to MOD for the first time today. Instantly, I was greated with, "HELLO!" by the staff. Despite it being the kind of thing that gets annoying after having to do it every day, to every customer; they still seemed to enjoy the faces first timers made upon receiving such a greeting. The staff was cool, friendly and informative. I went incredibly basic: Extra mozzarella, white sauce, grilled chicken. Everything was simply perfect. The sauce was really good, the cheese fantastic and the chicken exactly what you'd hope it taste like. I wish I would have seen the salt/pepper/oregano mixture, so I'll be adding that next time. These are very thin crust pizzas cooked quickly at high temp, which gives them a wonderful cripsness. Personally, I want mine cooked a little more well done next time. I don't want it burnt, but I'm cool with them cooking a little longer than normal. That's simply my personal preference. The thing is, it's a really cool joint. It hits the spot when you're looking for a personalized thin pizza made fast and very inexpensive. I really hope this place succeeds, and I plan on pushing it on my coworkers from Axalta. Hey fans I'm back! Been a while since my last review but I promise my presence will be consistent here on out. Today I took a trip to MOD Pizza for the very first time, and let me tell you this, I was NOT disappointed. When I walked in I didn't know what to expect. I was given a warm welcome from the lads behind the counter and they were very pleasant people. Seemed happy to be working there. It was clean and well lit which is always a big plus. I was a little confused by the menu at first but I figured it out pretty quickly so I didn't really sweat that so much after the first few seconds. The best part of this establishment is that you get to make your own pizza. YOUR OWN PIZZA!!! As a pizza lover that is something I absolutely love to hear. However I didn't make my own today (I'll leave that for my next trip). I ordered the caprese pizza and it was DELICIOUS. The crust was cooked just right and all of the toppings accented each other beautifully. I would definitely recommend this option if you can't handle the stress of customizing your own pizza. The service was fast and all of the employees interacted with were so nice. Go for the food and stay for the service. I will definitely be making a trip back to MOD pizza for some more grub. read more

Awful. I'd never been here before and found the layout of the menu and the ordering process confusing. The guy asked what I wanted, I told him a mod I think, and he showed it to me before he started which I was thankful for. I told him what I wanted on it, red sauce, mozz, half pepperoni and half basil. I got two tiny pieces of basil. Then came the confusing part, I thought I was to go to the toppings section but he just said I could pay. I eventually went to the register after concluding I didn't want any more toppings, didn't want to rack up the bill, and so I paid. That was fine. I see my pizza, don't see much basil but maybe it's beneath the mozz. I ask for a tiny bit of balsamic on the basil half and some guy takes the balsamic out of the original guy's hands and just layers it on there. When I sat outside to eat my pizza, I ended up wiping most of the balsamic off, and the pizza crumbled in my hands. I had such a hard time eating it bc the backside was burnt and crumbling while the top was fine. It was all over the place. I say if you're getting the pizza, just buy the same ingredients and make it yourself. This place was super confusing and not worth the $8. read more

This was actually the worst pizza experience I've ever had. First, an ingredient was left off of one of our pizzas. This isn't that big of a mistake, but both of our pizzas were still bland as sh*t. I tried to compensate by adding just about all of their condiments that they offered, yet our pizzas still tasted awful. So I worked for this store for 2 years and during most of that time I was a manager. I gave great service and was beloved by the guest and by the employees as well. During my time there we received a new District Manager by the name of Jimmy. For some reason Jimmy seem to single me out. He seem to make it his duty to make my once comfortable and enjoyable job a living hell. He threaten to fire me cause I couldnt make it in during a state wide blizzard. He went on to make me feel like I had to come in or lose my job so against the weather advisories I went in. I was treated horribly by this man. He also accused me of stealing money. I worked there for 2years prior to his arrival as the DM and never had any of these complaints or accusations thrown at me. I eventually was fired for closing 12mins after we were already closed instead of 15mins, during a night where the weather was becoming more and more unsafe. I really enjoyed working there and I liked the company, but for them to allow someone to come and bully me out was beyond unfortunate. I went on to apply at another location almost a year later and they loved me during the interviews but I wasn't hired due to "Jimmy not having such nice things to say about me" at least that was the reason given to me. I am tired of people in power positions getting away with stopping someone from being able to take care of themselves and/or there families. I know this has nothing to do wit the food but people should be aware of the type of places they support. read more

Split a mini pizza here today with my girlfriend, I can't remember what it was called but it had pesto, mozzarella, and roasted peppers. It was great. One of the staff members recommended the blood orange Pellegrino, and I'm happy she did. They did have some other interesting beverage offerings that I would like to try. I used to absolutely love everything about this place. However, tonight, was completely awful. There was no one working the register, and the line was almost out the door. It took us over 20 mins to place our order and then an additional 15 to get 1 pizza and a salad. When we went to ask for extra dressing and sweet and low they were magically out of both. As I'm writing the review, the line is still beyond long, people are still waiting. The staff is beyond slow and very incompetent. There was also no toilet paper in the men's room along with urine all over the floor!! This will be the last time I'm here until something changes, which is a shame because I love getting my salads here. read more

My favorite place to go for lunch with my family or friends. The food is very affordable- any toppings you want for the same price. The service is always nice. They make and cook your pizza right in front of you which is great. I always order a mini and split the cinnamon sticks with whoever I go with. They come with three dipping sauces- my favorite are the chocolate and strawberry. I enjoy their milkshakes too, my personal favorite is the cookie dough. The cookie dough chunks are great!
