Quick lunch with my son the week of Christmas, and luckily it was not busy at all. We were greeted immediately and the server was so friendly. I ordered a build your own Mod pizza and my son ordered a Mod pepperoni. I should've ordered the mini (personal) size cause the Mod was enough for two. But my son ate all of his, so it depends on the appetite for sure. We also ordered 2 fountain drinks and a lil mod cake that is similar to a little debbie cake. The pizza was super tasty, with a side of house ranch. And I like that the have coke zero products. I took off one star due to the bathroom situation. They needed service and were out of tissue. The restaurant was clean but the bathrooms just needed a but of help. Overall, Great food and service. Will be back! read more

I just love this place. The style of crust and freshness of the ingredients are simply enjoyable. The staff is always accommodating to make your pie anyway you want it and make you happy. I've been to several other customize your own pizza places before and I think MOD pizza is my favorite one. The concept is pretty straightforward. You choose the size you want, the sauce and the toppings. Then when the pizza is ready, you can add additional sauce on top. The cost is based on size so you can add as many toppings as you want. They have a great selection of toppings unlike other pizza places that I've been to. The best part is that the pizza doesn't get all soggy in the middle. I completely loaded my custom pizza up with so many different meats and veggies but it held strong when I pulled out a slice to eat. For those who are not as adventurous, there are pizza options with set toppings that you can choose from as well. If you don't want pizza, they also have build your own salads but they're the same cost as the build your own pizzas. My only note on this place is that I wish they had a little sign for each topping, especially for the meats. I had to ask them to name each topping for me, which they patiently did. They also have a rewards program here through an app where you can earn points to redeem rewards. You can also place an order through the app as well. Awesome! read more

As a regular "Mod" visitor back at home, we decided to stop here at Georgetown's on our way west for Thanksgiving, and the restaurant was clean, and food was "consistently good," however the staff was in robot mode, no personality, no small talk, and not very accommodating, not even a "welcome," nor "thank you," or nothing... just what do you want, here's the total, and called our name on the order... which is busy I'd give them a bit more grace, but we were only two of the only three customers in the entire restaurant. We "thanked them," and tried to show them appreciation, but it clearly didn't rub off, so that's the only reason I only rated them as a 3 service alone, food was good, restaurant is clean and well kept. This is my first time trying mod pizza. It was very underwhelming to say the least. I had high hopes since I heard so many good things about the franchise, but it was disappointing. I got a custom pizza with thick crust, but the crust was averagely sized in my opinion. I added a bunch of vegetable toppings, but none of them tasted fresh. I also got the garlic bread with green pesto and it was mediocre. The sauce was ok. You can tell they use their thin pizza crust as bread sticks. The food is good. The ordering experience is weird and a little confusing. I suppose there's a learning curve to ordering here, but in my opinion they kinda miss the mark in their menu and ordering system; hard to take full advantage of their customization because they don't get their message across very well. My children enjoy Mod's pizza and the restaurant itself is clean and vibrant. The employees are all pleasant and have great customer service skills. We visited during the lunch rush hour and maybe that's where I messed up. When you enter you give the employees your order and watch them make your pizza in front of you. It's then placed on a rack to be baked. Once it's out of the oven it's then cut and place in a box or on a plate. My only issue with Mod's is that our pizzas were ready and others were given to customers before us. Then after I paid and collected our items we were half way home when my son realized his pizza was completely wrong. He was given someone else's pizza. I had to turn all the way home and go back to have the order corrected. I appreciated them remaking the pizza right then and there but wish they would have double checked the ticket and pizza before they packaged everything up. I was late returning from lunch. We were in the area and thought we would try MOD Pizza. We were not disappointed! The staff were very inviting and courteous. We ordered our pizzas and my husband got the Mad Dog and even substituted the red sauce for white sauce with no problem. I ordered the Maddy. My husband saw the wraps or stuffed pizza (look like a taco with a pizza crust instead of tortilla) and ordered The Italiano to try it and loved it. The pizzas were done and ready pretty quickly and were delicious! We took home the leftovers to enjoy later. We split a chocolate "No Name" cake it was awesome! (although they could benefit from labeling all the toppings/sauces) I ordered the DILLON JAMES with pepperoni, spicy chicken sausage, red peppers and extra basil. This is now my favorite pizza, the perfect combo! I go the MOD size, which was perfect for 2 meals. My sister got the smallest size and it was the perfect size for her. Love the pizza been going to mods for years, but there's a bigger guy making the pizzas who has the WORST attitude. If you ask for extra anything he huffs and puffs and acts like he hates his job. I write this review already more of a fan of Blaze Pizza than MOD, which I feel should be noted. It's busy, I'm home alone with my 9 month old and MOD is only 5 minutes away from our home. I placed an order for a pepperoni pizza using Uber Eats (wanting to run inside, grab my pizza and go home to enjoy it). The order was placed at 12:41 and gave an estimated time of 10-15 minutes. I arrive around 12:52, and I'm told they just receive 7 orders at once. I ask the kid plating and boxing if it'll be long enough for me to just wait in my car, and he said it would be a few minutes, no problem at all. I hear back out for about 5-6 minutes when I get an alert from Uber Eats saying my food was reported as ready. I hear back inside, didn't say a word, and the kid plating looks up and irritated that I'm back standing there. He didn't acknowledge me just continued boxing and plating. After about 2 minutes, I ask him if maybe I missed my name being called (he took 5 boxes up pizzas back to the oven); he said, "No, we had more people ahead of you." I said okay and took a step back again away from the plexiglass. Naturally, I'm looking around at all of the people who came into the restaurant after I initially arrived and after I ordered since I ordered from home-all are eating or walking up to grab their food. Once my pizza is finally done (1:17)-10 minutes after I was told it was ready, I received a pizza that was doughy and honestly looked disgusting. I ate one slice before throwing it into the trash. I will never eat here nor will I bring my family here. The pizza was bad but the customer service left a much worse after taste. read more

If I could give a place no stars I would they're only get 2 star because the food is decent and management is great. The way the food is made it's just pizza but you'll be waiting hours for a pizza if you order from here. If you order on a Friday night or Saturday night online or through like Doordash expect your pizza to take forever. I have never been to a place where I can't order online or through Doordash without it being cold or taking so long it's better to go inside. I've come here often and the staff is very helpful and the food is great. I was debating whether to give this four stars or five stars and I will explain why. Things went slightly awry this evening but I don't blame the staff. My order was nearly an hour late but there was a series of events that unfolded that led to that being the case. I had arrived just prior to 9 PM and when I got there was a "Karen" giving hell to one of the staff members... something to the effect of her little girl had reached up for a pizza on the online orders shelf too high for her to reach, or something like that, and no one helped her grab it? I think she just wanted a punching bag to take out her anger on. The team member politely apologized when the mom was giving him hell. Unfortunately, that was the impetus behind him having a pretty rough next 30 minutes because he started to burn several pizzas, he dropped a pizza out of the oven, and I had to also ask for my pizza to be remade (too burnt) and eventually another teammate told him to get off of pizza cooking duty. That dejected team member apologized to his teammates and to us, the clients, and said he was sorry for not making the orders right. We customers all encouraged him and said we totally understand and we all have bad days. None of us were upset; we get it, stuff happens! :-) The girl who took over for him offered me a drink while I was waiting and then when she remade my pizza she gave me a voucher to get a free pizza on my next visit. Come to think of it, after seeing all this written down and revisiting the story, they do deserve five stars because we all have bad days and they handled this really well. Yes it was not fun going through it because I was especially hangry but in the end they did what they could to make it right and I will keep going back because I know this was unusual situation. I came here today, and their "'manager," KYLE, must have been triggered when he overheard me talking to another customer about Jesus, because when it was time to serve me, he had an attitude, was standoffish, and was rude; furthermore, he made my pizza wrong, and when I asked if he could remake it, he said, and I quote, "It's people like you, the religious types, that always complain." Unreal. The other employee with the pink hair--I didn't get her name--whispered, "Sorry, ma'am, he's gay." What does that matter?!?!
