We've never been to a Mod Pizza so we were expecting a typical chain pizza. That's not what we got. They made the pizza to order as we selected the individual toppings. It then went into an open flame brick oven. It was done and served in 6 or 7 minutes. Very thin crust and very tasty. There's no table service, you order as you come in and pick up the pizza when they call your name, which is really my only negative. The place was clean and the staff was great! read more

My husband and I decided to come here after finding out that there is basically no local pizza place in College Station/Bryan that sells vegan pizza. It seemed that the only places around were either the MOD or the Blaze, but we decided to come here to stop by for gas and groceries while we were at it. Despite the low ratings of this establishment by other reviewers, my husband and I had a pleasant experience with absolutely no issues. Although I've been to this sort of Chipotle-style (or the conveyor belt style) pizza places, it was my first time at the MOD and I needed some help trying to figure out which ingredients were vegan. The employees, despite looking all very young, were extremely patient and helpful with me, and managed to make us delicious pies. I will certainly be back again! FYI, for any vegans who may be interested, I got the Create Your Own Pizza with mega dough, garlic rub, red sauce, dairy-free cheese, plant-based Italian sausage, roasted garlic, green bell peppers, and red onion with balsamic fig glaze on the side. There is only one option for cheese and meat, which are the ones I got. Although I've never been a big vegan sausage (let alone non-vegan ones!) fan myself, these definitely exceeded my expectations, and certainly taste "real" --as in, non-vegan. read more

I asked for more cheese on my pizza because they only covered half of it, and the girl rolled her eyes at me. This is a great pizza place! My husband and I were glad to see one pop up in College Station. The pizza is tasty, there's a good variety of ingredients, and they don't charge extra for the toppings that they offer! They offer a good variety of drinks as well. The reason for 4 stars would be that the employees can be inattentive, sometimes the fresh ingredients like basil and cilantro are blackening on the line, and branching off of the inattentive aspect, my husband's pizza wasn't cut last time and they left the metal box thing on too, which they usually take off when they put the pizza in the box. I was stuck translating between the toppings for one and the girl wanted me to order my MOD at the same time. Clearly no sense to let me wait. I came here for the first time and I was so excited because I have heard nothing but great things. I was tended by a very nice girl and my pizza was good! I was thrown off because their hours said that they closed at 10, but when I got there at 9:20, they were already cleaning and preparing to close. I did not mind because I planned to eat my food fast. However, another client went in 20 minutes later and the staff discouraged him from ordering because they were closing in 20 minutes. It only takes a couple minutes to make these pizzas so I was left very confused. I understood that they probably just wanted to go home, but they're getting paid to do this... anyways, I would have thrown this interaction to the side however as soon as the other client left, one of the girls laughed and said "good job" to the other for convincing the guy to leave... /: The pizza was very good which is the reason I give this review a 3, but the customer service was not good at all from some of the staff here. They said they were waiting on one of my pizzas and they would bring them out to go e them about 5 minutes. 15-20 minutes went by and I went inside. MOD pizza is a great establishment with great food! They allow you to customize your pizza however you want and don't charge extra for toppings! I'm giving the college station MOD 4 stars because some of their employees can seem rude from time to time and you almost feel rushed to pick your toppings. If I could do 4.5 stars I would... I have gone to this location many many times and usually love the service. I went today at 8:30 and the workers were extremely rude. They were already trying to close and right off the bat when myself and 3 friends walked in, they were giving us rude looks. It only got worse when we told them we were dining in as well. Everything was very rushed and we didn't feel welcome in there at all. There was nobody else in there besides us and they forgot toppings on a simple pepperoni and pineapple pizza. This was our first experience with MOD Pizza. We ordered online. I arrived and called from a curbside spot. I was told because we ordered for pick-up, not curbside, that I had to come inside. I did not have a mask with me as I expected to do curbside (I did not place the order and the person who did, did not see a curbside option). Arrived home and one of the pizzas was missing a topping.
