PEPPERONI SLICE and GARLIC KNOT (3 PIECES)
Jackie W.

When I tell you this pizza is top tier, ITS TOP TIER! I'm a Philly native who has struggled to find proper pizza, garlic knots and hoagies/cheesesteaks! We finally tried Champion Pizza as we moved here in August and just didn't know! Thank god for social media! We had ours delivered and it was still perfection! The pizza was the best pizza I've had since leaving Philly 15+ years ago, if you can fold your slice like I do it's a proper NY slice! Run, to this pizza place, literally run!

Finally a really good pizza joint in BCS! It's authentic NY style pizza with great crust, just enough sauce and cheese, and great ingredients. The service is also really good and the people are friendly and helpful. They have $2 pepperoni and cheese slices on Tuesdays so that makes the deal even sweeter. Highly recommended!

Pizza by the slice

Pizza by the slice and a truly NYC heritage. Was excited to try it. We got a standard NY style pepperoni pizza. If you can crush with the basics, you've got a good pizza. Unfortunately, they didn't crush it, but it is a decent pizza and an excellent value for the quantity and quality. We got a frickin ginormous 18" pizza, literally blanketed with nickel pepperoni for $23. That's a deal, my friends. My group found the sauce too sweet and too much pepperoni (yes there is such a thing) but the crust is nice. I also like that they have oregano and garlic to sprinkle along with the typical parm and red peppers. No liquor license yet, so no beer, limited soft drinks, no ice tea :( Hopefully the owners will tackle that situation soon. Yo, New Yorkers! This is Texas! We need ice tea (fresh made daily, sweet and unsweet), beer (preferably Shiner and other Texas brands), and Mexican Coke. Thank you for at least having Dr. Pepper.

If I had the money I would come here every day. The pizza is really good! They serve Brooklyn style pizzas which are a little different from anywhere else around here like Dominos. The crust is thin and tasty. The pizzas themselves are offered in a huge variety of options which you can peruse near the checkout desk. The slices are $5 and quite large. I would say 2 slices is plenty for an adult, and 1 slice per child. The guys running the place were very friendly. I'm sure we will be back -- just waiting on that paycheck, fellas!

Margherita Large

I had cravings of a New York style pizza while visiting college station and found this unique space. As you walk in you know they have been intentional about how clean and organize this place is and how welcoming the staff was to guests. We tried the large margherita pizza . The crust was crispy and the size was perfect. Although the cheese was a bit bland--easy fix with red peppers and black peppers--we paired it with a blasting cold, regular Dr. Pepper, and we were at ease. This is a quick, nice and delicious fast bite. Will definitely go back.

Omg! Amazing!!

Holy schnikies this plans was fantaboulous!!! The nyc style pizza was probably the best I've ever had! The crust was thin and had a wafer thin crisp to it with glorious doughy goodness on top. The sauce is to die for. I tried the pepperoni, margarita, and bacon focaccia. The classic pepperoni was the best! The only let down was they don't have a drink service. Just a cooler of bottled beverages next to the register.

Amazing Pizza! The pepperoni pizza sauce was a little sweet, but the saltiness of the pepperoni complemented it exceptionally well. The Mac & Cheese Pizza was the best pizza I have ever had. The cheese sauce on it was great! The Margherita Pizza was the best Margherita Pizza I've ever had, with no bland dry spots but instead loads of flavor and basil. The Buffalo Chicken was my least favorite. Rather than fresh chicken, it seems to be chicken nugget meat chopped up and thrown on. Overall 4.3/5 rated pizza. The crunch on the crusts was terrific. Definitely coming back.

Pizza? And fast? By the slice? Yes, l'll take it! I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of pizza offerings at this place. Who ever heard of "Blanca pizza"? I mean...maybe you have. But not me! I tried the meat lovers after changing my mind a couple of times and I was not disappointed. The crust on this pizza is super crunchy. No doughy, under-cooked crust here. Need pizza fast? I recommend it!

Pepperoni, Marg Burrata, meat lovers

This place is so good! had Margherita Burrata, meat lovers, and pepperoni. They were all delicious but the Burrata one was AMAZING. I will be back just for that! Service was great also. But the pizza was definitely the star of the show. Will be back!

Chicken bacon ranch, buffalo chicken, pepperoni sausage, mushroom, pepperoni sausage jalapeño, pesto mushroom.

The sauce reminded me of campbells cream of tomato soup. The salad was reasonably good. not bad pizza, but there are better pies in town.

The hostess was genuinely friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant has a nostalgic type atmosphere. It was also extremely busy with a very large party, so I understand the staff was under pressure. Even so, service was quite slow from the time we were seated until we received our drinks and food. The biggest disappointment was the food. Our appetizer, Bread & Garlic Oil was chewy, and baked perfectly, but the "garlic oil" had almost no garlic flavor and didn't resemble olive oil at all. I'm betting it was vegetable oil or canola oil, which should be a sin in a pizza place! When I mentioned it, the solution was simply adding a clove of garlic to the bowl, which didn't improve it. How hard would it be to use REAL olive oil and infuse it with fresh roasted garlic! We also ordered a specialty pizza that was supposed to have roasted garlic, but it arrived without it. The pizza was remade after we pointed it out, and the second one was better, but it still seemed to be drizzled with the same flavorless oil. The crust also lacked the structure I'd expect from a good pizza, with every slice folding over when picked up. I can see why people enjoy the atmosphere, and perhaps a classic pepperoni pizza would be a better choice. The staff did make an effort to correct the mistakes, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, based on our experience, the food simply didn't live up to the reviews, and with so many great pizza places around, I don't see myself returning.

Service was extremely friendly and efficient. Our server was excellent. I had the wings combo, which was 10 wings and tater tots (with an option for fries). My brother and nephew had the same thing. They have a range of sauces or rubs you can choose. I have a wimpy palette so I had the honey bourbon BBQ. The wings were excellent, crispy skin and moist inside. The sauce was very nice also. The tater tots were great but there are a LOT of them. One person could order for two. Then we were there on Sunday and loved that they had TVs tuned to a few different games. Definitely worth a visit.

Ambiance: Our server Tristan was excellent, friendly, and attentive. The food came out quickly, and the restaurant itself is spacious with plenty of seating options. The lighting is on the dimmer side, and there are lots of TVs for entertainment. Drinks: We ordered a Moscow Mule and a Lemon Drop Martini. The Lemon Drop was sweet, refreshing, and smooth without a strong alcohol taste. The Moscow Mule was equally enjoyable, with a crisp ginger beer that added a nice fizz. Pretzel Bites: These were golden, crispy, and delicious. They came with honey mustard and queso, both of which paired perfectly, though the bites were flavorful enough to enjoy on their own. All-Meat Pizza: One of the best pizzas I have had. It was loaded with cheese and a great mix of meats, rich and savory. The bacon stood out in particular. It was crispy, smoky, and packed with flavor that really elevated the whole pizza.

If you worship at the Altar of Sourdough, I have found the Gates of Bread Heaven…read more I have sourdough across this Land from Florida to California and THIS is the best flavored sourdough I have ever had in my decades of eating. The crust has a chew to it that is firm but gives way soon enough after biting. What it gives way to is a crumb that is soft, textured and smells like a double dose of sourdough yeast. The starter is at least 25 years old and boy howdy, it really packs a punch. So much so, I asked an employee there if they sold starter. I would have bought some to use and grow at home. Enough about their star item ... let's go over the lunch I enjoyed there yesterday (15May26, got a free cookie on their birthday). I had their Crawfish Mac and Cheese in a bread bowl. The pasta was curly and cooked al-dente, as any pasta should be. The pieces of crawfish had a slight, very slight dusting of bread crumbs on them that added a nice texture to the forkful of pasta and creamy cheesiness that is a hallmark of mac n cheese. Needless to say, I managed to finish the contents of the bowl (the plug of bread removed is also served) and about half of the wonderful bread bowl before forcing myself to just stop. The remains were dutifully doggie bagged and brought with me as a snack to be enjoyed on the drive home. I will be in College Station many times over the next four years and when there, Blue Baker is definitely on my list of places to get great bread and a good lunch. There are three in Aggieland, so try them all if you are nearby. Ciao, Darrell
