Crispy Chicken Bacon Ranch Salad
Madelyn D.

My salad was pretty good! I don't really have any complaints about it. It was reasonably priced and came out quickly.

Haven't eaten at Fazoli's in years so we decided to grab lunch there today while driving through College Station, TX. I couldn't have been more disappointed with the service and the quality of the food. The service was terrible and the food was nothing like it used to be. Garlic bread were soggy, past was was over cooked, marinara sauce tasted terrible. Absolutely not recommend.

First time I've been in a Fazoli's in years. Still, as I remember, pretty darn solid Italian fast food. Read the specials to get the best deals, but the breadsticks alone are worth it. I do miss the days when they were more attentive to the dining room and handed out breadsticks more freely, but I assume that's just been cut back, in light of the covid situation. Excellent.

Happy employees!

Once again - this place is consistently what you expect. Affordable delicious Italian and the new skewers are THE BOMB. Always great service. We got the chicken Alfredo and the twice baked lasagna. Keep going! Those of us who work late are so appreciative of your extended hours! Thank goodness for you!

Let me start by saying I L O V E FAZOLI'S! I grew up going to it as a kid in Louisiana. When it closed I was devastated, but then I found one when I moved to Houston, only for it to shutdown as well. I've visited friends in CSTAT so many times and never had a chance to stop by Fazoli's, however this last visit I made it my number one priority. My friends and I pulled up for an early lunch at about 11:15. We had the place to ourselves for a short while. We all ordered different dishes and a medium drink, but each paid less than $10. I got sweet tea as my drink which wasn't up to my sweet tea standards, but I was not deterred. We sat down in a booth and our dishes were out fairly quickly. (Social distancing is enforced when you order and in the dining area, which only allows sitting at every other table). I got the baked spaghetti, which was a solid meal. I ate about half of it and took the rest home for left overs. Why did I only eat half of my meal you ask? One word: breadsticks. Those breadsticks are a literal gift from God. They are the perfect amount of butter, salt, garlic and bread. There super soft and not over cooked and way better than Olive Garden in my opinion. You can get unlimited breadsticks when you dine in. Honestly, I could eat just breadsticks and be okay. Check out Fazoli's if you need a quick meal or the comfort of a warm, buttery breadstick.

$2.99 thursday meatball spaghetti special. Not bad.

I just came here for their Thursday special: $2.99 for spaghetti and meatballs, side salad or pizza slice, and s a breadstick. This place is "Italian fast food", which means it won't be upscale or anything, but just simple and cheap. The atmosphere reminded me of a Rubio's and one of those low-end pizza shops. I was handed a buzzer for when my order was ready. It came out fairly quickly and I sat down in one of the booths. The booths are kept clean; I saw the workers clean them repeatedly during my meal. In the center are plastic utensils, drink dispenser, napkins, parmesan, and red pepper. Very fast food-like set-up. The food (spaghetti and meatballs and side salad) was a good portion. A full serving (as in 2 oz, NOT jumbo-American-sized) of spaghetti in the right amount of red sauce, and three normal sized meatballs. I used 2 packets of parmesan to up its appeal. The side salad was a good portion, like more than what Panera serves as a side salad. The vegetables were crisp and fresh. The garlic bread was tasty, but personally, I would have liked it a bit more oven-crisp. They also have this white tea that tasted good as well. Overall, I actually liked the taste and service at Fazoli's. Plus, $3.26 for all that food is such a deal! I will probably come back again for this Thursday special. (The chocolate chunk cookie looked good too)

First off, we waited about 15 minutes for someone to take our order when there was no one in there. When our order was finally taken, the guy was unfriendly and seemed like he was in a rush. We ordered two waters with our meals and thought that the water would be where the drink station is.... it was not. We looked around for the guy who took our order and he was not around, so we got regular drinks out of the soda fountain. Not even ten minutes into eating our meal, the extremely rude manager comes over and tells us that we need to dump our drinks because we didn't pay for them. Understandable, but maybe put your water in a clear, open place where the um, DRINKS ARE? And not some random place in the restaurant? Also, the water was in a mop bucket... I'm not kidding. A MOP BUCKET. How disgusting is that??? Never again.

He was informative, attentive and still down to earth and able to understand this families' quirks! We did not have any complaints about the food we were served! Large portions, drinks were all amazing. Each of us got a different entree. Baked Ziti - Hubby hardly orders pasta, loved this one. The sauce had the right amount of heat with a slight sweetness. Linguine and Clams - Birthday Boy loved and says it's definitely a cravable entree that he would go back for. Chicken Parmesan- a lot, made our son's girlfriend happy and did not disappoint Chicken Alfredo - so much food here, Son's fiancé had to take the rest home but loved it. Scallop Special - oldest son loved the portion size and size of the scallops Gnocchi- son#4 has eaten here before and swears by it, even though he claims it's not as good as his mommas I got the filet with the mushrooms and sautéed spinach. Cooked perfectly medium rare, cut like butter. Didn't want the onion rings it came with, but it came with it. So just sent them home with one of the kids. Granddaughter got spaghetti noodles with a butter sauce -- she is 3 and ate half the full adult portion. Prices are high end, but seriously when making a reservation you would know that. Great date night or big celebration dinner to book!!

For our most recent visit, we ordered the grilled chicken with buttered noodles for my child, and they ate it up! My husband and I split two meals since we both wanted steak and pasta. The Chicken Pesto with Penne had large amounts of delicious sun-dried tomatoes and artichokes. Our steak was tasty, and the Brussels sprouts and garlic mashed potatoes were prefect. Thanks to Colin for being attentive to our table's needs. Let's talk ambiance: The only two things odd about it the last visit was that the buzzer they gave us was broken, so we didn't know they called for us. They took care of us pretty quickly. The second was the indoor temps which I'll call frigid. I could have hung meat in the middle of the restaurant. It was so cold that we ran to our vehicles for jackets and sweaters. Because of the number of times we've come to Napa Flats, we know this is the exception and not the rule and will definitely return for the food. P.S. Get yourself a scoop of gelato.

It's creamy and oh so delicious. I always ask for additional bread because the dip is a healthy portion. For lunch this time, I tried the Bakersfield Cheddar Burger with French Fries. A solid, enjoyable burger, but nothing especially memorable. Then for dessert, I tried the pistachio favored gelato. Again, solid favor, but it didn't quite wow me. The service was exceptional throughout the lunch. We had an attentive server who checked in on us and made us feel taken care of. The restaurant is spacious with plenty of options for seating. You can tell when someone actually cares about the experience they're giving you, and she absolutely did. PLEASE request her as your waiter if you ever visit this establishment. She will make your experience 10x better! The ambiance deserves its own moment. The decorations are completely one of a kind. There's a small waterfall you pass as you walk from the entrance into the dining area, which immediately sets the tone. The lighting is warm and inviting, there's greenery throughout the space, and the Italian decor is pleasing to the eye. I usually go during lunch hours for their fantastic pricing, so I can't speak to how loud it gets when there's live music in the evenings. But during lunch, it's perfect. My sister and I had wonderful conversations and could hear each other with ease. And the lunch prices? Amazing. We both ate for $30 total, which honestly feels rare lately. Especially for a sit-down restaurant! Because the service was that good, I happily left a 50% tip. It was more than deserved, and I genuinely wish I could've left more, but college students have to pinch pennies here and there. Now let's talk about the food. My sister is a full-blown pizza connoisseur, and she orders pizza at basically every restaurant we go to. this place is her number two spot of all time, only second to a small local joint back in our hometown. That should say a lot. I had a bite of hers, and it was fantastic. Super cheesy and genuinely delicious. The restaurant is nestled downtown College Station where you can walk up and down the Main with cute lights when it's night and some entertainment down the road. The restaurant is on the corner and the inside was very clean and you can tell it has some history. A person, who I believe was the owner, greeted us and sat us down right away. The vibe is fairly quaint and the ambiance is dark but chill. The menu is minimal but I love that there aren't 100s of options. We were greeted by a very nice server who offered fresh baked bread. While I live for fresh baked bread, this tasted old and stale. It didn't taste fresh but almost as though it had been sitting out for some as it was dry and super chewy. What we ordered: - the lobster w/lobster and added shrimp: pasta was perfectly cooked But the sauce was missing one crucial ingredient....salt!! My son, who is 12, also noted it was very bland and lacked any seasoning! He put salt and pepper and said it was much better but needed a lot of help! The lobster and shrimp were a bit over cooked as well, it was slightly rubbery. - the lobster (substitute lobster for chicken): the same review as the dish above, but the chicken was a bit dry and over cooked. - mozzarella garlic bread: this was the highlight of the meal! Very stringy like they used fresh mozzarella and garlicky just like we like it with marinara sauce! - calamari: one of my son's favorites but he noted they seemed frozen and not fresh! He couldn't eat it because the calamari was very tough and chewy! It was a major let down! While I appreciate the concept, and maybe it was an off day when we went, we'd think twice about going there again! The service was impeccable but the food is why I have it a 3.
