We stopped here while waiting on my son to finish orientation and while the area looked very nice, the restaurants were not clean, including this one. We figured you can't go wrong with pizza but we were wrong. The area where the condiments are was so messy and dirty. The drink area was very dirty and the ice machine had mold all over it and the bathrooms were also unkept. While the staff were nice, the place needs a little love & attention. Compared to the average Chick-Fil-A, this place would be the opposite in cleanliness. My rating is based solely on the food. My fiancé and I usually visit a different build-your-own-pizza chain but we were passing through College Station and decided to try out Blaze. I will say, I'm a bit disappointed with the pizza. We're vegetarians, so it's often hard to find food we can eat on the road, though we were glad to see that Blaze carries a vegan "meat" option as a pizza topper. Sadly, the Spicy Vegan Chorizo was hardly spicy and also lacked flavor. This was very disappointing. Additionally, I was disappointed in the lack of vegetable toppers available. Bell pepper and diced/sliced tomatoes weren't available, which I was shocked not to see. I ended up putting spinach, mozzarella, feta cheese, spicy vegan chorizo and roasted peppers on my pizza....which was overall bland in taste. Had they had a spicy dipping sauce as an option, that might've made for a better experience, but alas, this was not the case. Moral of my story: this is not a flavor factory, so go elsewhere if that's what you're looking for. read more

Extremely understaffed who all just so happen to be working at .25x speed. So slow to the point where I genuinely thought the universe was punishing me by forcing me to watch the employee individually place every single topping one by one. i'm not kidding they are so slow that it took a whole hour to get food and there were only 5 people in the restaurant besides me. Not only that, but they were incredibly rude to us (group of 3) for asking to take our pizzas to go but my friends were eating them in the restaurant. Allow me to reiterate that it took an hour to get my pizza -- do they think my friends were going to just sit and wait for 30 minutes while you individually place my toppings one by one?? Absolutely horrendous and disappointing. I have never had such constant bad experiences at any other Blaze location. I feel bad for the workers, but I wouldn't be putting such a negative review if it weren't for the disrespect I received as a result from their incompetency. Carnivore pizza was wonderful. the touch of balsamic drizzle was perfect. The original cheesy bread was also also very well done and delicious. Nova and Ella served us and they were both super kind and Nova took time to come by our table and check on us during our meal. I docked the experience a couple stars because: 1. AC was not working so we did sit in the heat while we ate. 2. The Caesar salad did not match the menu, and was made with spinach...could have been better. 3. All 3 items we ordered were prepared at different times. The servers called me to the counter each time, interrupting the meal, when they could have taken 10 steps and delivered it to us for a better experience. I was super excited when Blaze opened in College Station. It's a great place to go with friends to make your own pizza! I really like their spicy red sauce. Also, I'm a huge bacon fan, so I love adding their applewood bacon to the pizza along with whichever other meat. It's pretty cool how you can add as many toppings as you want! Their vegetables are always fresh (& I end up choosing 3-4 different ones). Great spot for a filling personal pizza! read more

We came while there was an event going on at Century Square so I expected it to be busy and to wait, that is not what bothered me. It was the woman at the register. I waited over 20 minutes for them to even start making the pizzas after ordering, again - which was fine but I wasn't about to pay more after waiting that long. She rang up one of the pizzas wrong so I pointed at the menu and verified the price of what we ordered and she immediately started yelling, in a restaurant full of people, how busy they were and there are only two people working and how I need to be more clear about what I want. I cannot stand when someone starts a conversation alredy assuming the other person is about to attack them. I wasn't even mad until she started yelling at me in front of a bunch of people! When I came back up to get my pizza, I asked for dome Balsamic Vinegar drizzle and WOW THAT WAS YUMMY! There are several diff drizzles to add at the end if that is your thing. Ranch/BBQ/Balsamic... a couple others.. Try the Agua Frescas! The Pomegranate Lime was delicious. They have a variety of self-serve at the soda stand. Enjoyed this location twice now. Both times during COVID, so I ordered on the app and picked up. The first visit was in late May and it was super fast. Pizza was getting boxed up right at the time the app said it'd be ready. My visit tonight was slower. Pizza was ready 10-12 minutes later, and the restaurant was crowded. Since it was Smores day, I redeemed my reward and tried that dessert for the first time. It was okay. Cookie was a bit dry, but the ratios were good. Being a camp professional, it's hard to beat the real thing over a campfire. But great for free! The courtyard was also busy, but would be nice to enjoy a pizza al fresco at a slower time. Reasonable prices. App is easy. Seems clean. Even "slow" for Blaze is fast for pizza. And I love the thin crust fired style pizzas. read more

My husband and I spend a weekend in College Station recently and one of the places I wanted to try out was the little crepe restaurant that happened to be next to this pizza joint. As we pulled in, I realized that all I really wanted was some pizza so we went in. We were greeted immediately by extremely friendly staff who got on our order immediately. I had no issues redeeming the free garlic knots thanks to checking in on Yelp which was nice because every once in a while we find a business who is hesitant to honor their check in offers. I appreciated how well the restaurant followed hygiene and social distancing orders. The pizza was beautifully coal-fired and had a wonderful flavor. Plus the price was pretty cheap for what we got. I ordered a pizza and cheese bread and not only paid a 6.99 delivery fee but paid the delivery person a $10 tip on a $30 order. I specifically asked for Parmesan and Peppers and they forgot them. I spoke to the delivery person and she told me that she brought what she was given. This place was awesome !! Found a yelp deal offering 10.00 for any pizza and side salad , and since this place has been in my bookmarks since it opened , I had to try it . They have a huge selection of toppings ( no extra charge for toppings) ranging from different cheeses , meats, veggies , vegetables , and sauces ! The pizza was ready in less then 10 minutes , and everything was delicious !!! I got the buffalo sauce on top which was a little overpowering , but next time I'll just go without it . Blaze pizza is now my favorite pizza place now I love the concept of the pizza sizes and how you can build your own which that's what I always do my fav thing is the minced garlic it's not strong but it gives a taste in the pizza and the crust is cooked beautifully because it's cooked in a brick oven sauce is perfectly made as well also they sell half pizza or you could do half pizza and side salad also they got fresh juice which is kinda similar to the ones you get from Panera but they also taste great place was packed but customer service was great nothing late everything came out fast.
